Raw Deal - Raw recap for July 1, 2019

Braun Strowman vs. Bobby Lashley in a Falls Count Anywhere Match ends with Strowman ramming Lashley into the mini-tron. When that happens, the entire mini-tron and stage goes completely dark, sparks fly out, and potential fires have to be put out by backstage workers with fire extinguishers. Strowman and Lashley are both put on stretchers by medical staff. The show immediately jumpcuts to a commercial break.

After the commercial break, Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman are placed in separate ambulances.

The Viking Raiders (Ivar and Erik) vs. The New Day (Xavier Woods and Big E) ends with Samoa Joe rushing in and putting Woods in the Coaquina Clutch. Kofi Kingston runs in to make the save, but he is attacked by Joe and Ivar. Referees have to keep both parties separated.

The Viking Raiders (Ivar and Erik) and Samoa Joe beat The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Xavier Woods, Big E) with a Coaquina Clutch to Kofi Kingston.

Backstage, Drake Maverick introduces his wife to Dana Brooke as they stop at Raw on the way to the honeymoon. His wife says it's either her or the 24/7 Championship, and Maverick tells her he lovers her before spotting R-Truth behind them. R-Truth says not to mind him, as he is in the mood for romance.

Backstage, Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) talk between themselves before "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles meets with them. After Styles reminds them they lost last week, Gallows and Anderson remind Styles he nearly lost. Styles says that Ricochet is not ready for anyone of his level, then Anderson claims that he has bet his wife that he can't beat Ricochet this week. Styles doesn't take the bet seriously. Gallows wants to know if the bet is real.

Before the next match, R-Truth is part of No Way Jose's conga line, and he tests Drake Maverick's marriage by dancing with his wife and laying down on the barricade in front of their front row seats. He then gets chased around by other Superstars to the back. Cesaro then beats up No Way Jose before the bell rings.

Backstage, Charly Caruso interview Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford), who are making their Raw debut. They may have the NXT tag team titles, but that doesn't mean they don't want the smoke.

It is announced that Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley are currently being evaluated at a local medical facility.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews The Miz, who says that he would not wish what happened to Bobby Lashley and Braun Strowman on anyone. As for his two-out-of-three falls match with Elias tonight, he feels he has to defeat Elias to deflate Shane McMahon's ego and send Elias back to busking in the subways. He also says he has heard that The Undertaker is here tonight.

Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre show up. After a "proper introduction" by ring announcer Mike Rome, Shane says he has other responsibilities besides gracing the fans with his presence as he refers to what happened to Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley, then shifts focus to Roman Reigns. He says that he and McIntyre had the perfect set-up against Roman Reigns, as Roman knew he had no chance of beating them. He then replays what they did to Roman last week on Raw. McIntyre says Roman knows what they will do to him at Extreme Rules, then Shane says that he is more focused on The Undertaker, once saying that Roman had The Undertaker bail him out. He says that they have done battle before and that they will do it again soon, and while he surprised them, there will be no surprises when he and McIntyre put The Undertaker and Roman Reigns in the ground at Extreme Rules. McIntyre calls The Undertaker the greatest legend in WWE history after striking fear in the heart of every man he has faced, then calls himself a hybrid of every generation before proclaiming he is not scared of The Undertaker. McIntyre goes so far as to say he does not even give a damn about The Undertaker, and address the rumors of The Undertaker being here tonight by proclaiming that he is dressed tonight to fight. He then calls out The Undertaker, telling him to suddenly appear in the ring so they can tell him they are not afraid and that they will exterminate his legacy at Extreme Rules. Suddenly, thunder is heard, and the lights flicker in and out throughout the arena before going out completely. Lightning then strikes two of the ring posts. The Undertaker's theme then hits, and after almost a minute, The Undertaker shows up. Shane and McIntyre get out of the ring and over the barricade as The Undertaker makes his way to the ring. He says that Roman Reigns never asked him for his help, as that is not who he is, but if Shane needs answers to the why, then he should explain who he has been for a long time: the reaper of wayward souls. He then says he is here to collect Shane and McIntyre's souls. He tells Shane that he had a little of his respect for a while after giving him everything he had at Hell In A Cell and WrestleMania and living to tell about it, but just like most mortal men, Shane fell victim to his own greed and ego. He says that while Shane may be the best in this world, he and McIntyre will be nothing more than another couple of lost souls suffering the torment and torture of the acrid stench of death where he will send them. He says that this will be for all of eternity, and that the two of them will never rest in peace.

Backstage, Baron Corbin says an Extreme Rules Match benefits himself and Lacey Evans despite what Seth Rollins would do to keep the WWE Universal Championship. He knows that Rollins would fight to the last breath to keep the title, then questions why he would do this for Becky Lynch. Lacey Evans then mentions what Becky Lynch has done to stay a champion for this long, then says that Lacey has put her faith in Rollins, who has wandering eyes. He says that Rollins will soon learn not to put faith in Becky after she beats Natalya tonight.

Lacey Evans beats Natalya after Baron Corbin trips Natalya from outside the ring behind the referee's back, allowing Lacey Evans to hit The Woman's Right for the win.

Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Ricochet, who is not fazed by "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles' comments and questions if Styles gave 100% or not. He says that he might be able to beat him the next time around. Suddenly, Gallows & Anderson says that Styles made a mistake in not putting him down in three minutes and says that the real Styles had him beat from the get-go. Ricochet says he could beat Styles next time, but Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) says it's time he was put in his place. Ricochet says he has no problem defending the United States title against them, but Gallows and Anderson say they want no trouble with him. However, Ricochet may have trouble with someone else.

Backstage, Gallows and Anderson tells "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles about what Ricochet said earlier, and when they do, they embellish what Ricochet said. Styles says they should have a talk, but Anderson accuses Styles of losing his edge. After stating that the real Styles would slap Ricochet across the face, Styles confronts Ricochet and says he will take the United States Championship from him tonight. Ricochet accepts the challenge, then both men slap each other in the face.

The Miz beats Elias two falls to one (2-1) in a two-out-of-three falls match. The Miz earns the first fall by hitting the Skull Crushing Finale soon after the bell rings to officially begin the match. Elias earns the second fall after hitting Drift Away. The Miz earns the third fall with the Figure Four Leg Lock after Elias hits the ring post during a running knee on the apron.

Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins. Rollins says he and Becky are thinking of Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley and are wishing them a speedy recovery. Becky and Rollins both agree that they were not impulsive in accepting Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans' challenge, even if the stakes are raised and anything can happen. After Becky and Rollins agree that Rollins may have gotten lucky and that this was not part of a plan, Maria Kanellis shows up and says that she is part of the real power couple of the WWE after coming back from giving birth. Mike Kanellis shows up, then Maria says Rollins is only Universal Champion because Mike hasn't challenged him yet. After saying his and Becky's match at Extreme Rules is not anything unusual, Maria challenges Rollins and Becky to a mixed tag team match of her and her "bitch" against "you and yours." Becky accepts the challenge without hesitation, and Rollins tells both Mike and Maria "You done messed up."

It is announced that Braun Strowman may have suffered a ruptured spleen earlier tonight.

Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch beat Mike and Maria Kanellis with a Dis-Arm-Her to Mike Kanellis. During the match, Maria chews out Mike for saying he can mop the floor with Rollins but cannot even mop the floor at home, then announces that she is pregnant again. When Mike asks Maria how she could possibly be pregnant, Maria responds by saying that she does not even know because Mike is not even man enough to get her pregnant. Becky then locks in the Dis-Arm-Her on Mike Kanellis for the win. After the match, Maria says she cannot believe Mike is the father of her children and that she has waited for him to be a man and take responsibility only for him to be a disappointment. She says that Becky was the only man in the ring, and next time, she will ask Becky to impregnate her.

Backstage, Paul Heyman says that tonight has been a weird night for Seth Rollins and a bad night for Kofi Kingston, which makes it a perfect night for Brock Lesnar to cash in. After Heyman says Brock Lesnar may or may not be in the building tonight, Street Profits shows up and gets friendly with Heyman before saying he has no time for this and that he is a busy man.

It is announced that Roman Reigns is part of GQ's Lifestyle series on GQ.com.

It's time for A Moment Of Bliss. Alexa Bliss extends her thoughts to Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley, then announces she has a very special guest who got her a match against Bayley for the SmackDown Women's Title at Extreme Rules last week: Nikki Cross. After a replay of Nikki Cross' win from last week, Nikki says she wants Alexa and the fans that none of this would have been possible without Alexa's support and guidance or without Alexa taking her seriously and welcoming her with open arms. For that, she will always be thankful. After Alexa says that this is Nikki's moment of bliss, Carmella shows up. Carmella agrees with Alexa about this being Nikki's moment of bliss, then asks why Alexa is getting the title match. Alexa says Carmella is desperate for attention, but Carmella tells Nikki that Alexa is taking advantage of her and that their friendship should go both ways. Alexa calls Carmella "R-Truth's sidekick," and Carmella says they can go into the ring so she can show her a real side kick when she kicks her upside her head. This starts a match which Carmella wins in seconds with a roll-up.

Nikki Cross beats Carmella.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross. When Nikki is asked about the fans wanting her to face Bayley instead of Alexa, Alexa says "no comment" and leaves with Nikki.
