Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for July 26, 2019

Madison Rayne guests on commentary for the next match.

Jordynne Grace beats Kiera Hogan after Madison Rayne leaves commentary to get Kiera back in the ring.

We hear from "The Machine" Brian Cage, who tells Michael Elgin that he will beat his ass so bad in tonight's Street Fight that he will send him to a hospital. He says Elgin may call himself unbreakable, but he will break Elgin so badly he won't come back.

Backstage, Taya Valkyrie talks with Rosemary, wanting her help with Havok. Rosemary says there is no deal due to their contract running out at Slammiversary, and unless the Knockouts title is on the line, she is not interested and she would rather watch Havok rip her apart. John E. Bravo tells Taya he will take care of this.

Sami Callihan shows up. He immediately calls out Tessa Blanchard, who shows up. Sami admits he thought it would be easy to beat Blanchard at Slammiversary, but Blanchard proved she had heart, spunk and fire, and at last week's tournament, they went all the way for a match against each other for a shot at the Impact World Championship. He then says he is a man who will admit when he is wrong and admits he was wrong at Tessa Blanchard, then says he should be hailed as a hero for giving the fans the equality that they wanted and setting the world on fire with Blanchard. He then says that was not intergender wrestling, but just pro wrestling, and from one pro wrestler to another, he respects her. He offers to shake her hand after mentioning their match at Unbreakable, which he does not often, and she does. After Sami says "I'll see you there, toots," and smacks her butt, Blanchard lays Sami out.

Backstage, Jake and Dave Crist tell Madman Fulton to stick to their plan. We then hear from Sami Callihan, who says that he tried to treat Tessa Blanchard only for her to slap him and make a name at his expense. He then says that if Tessa Blanchard thinks she is a "tough guy," they will see how tough she is when she faces Madman Fulton next week.

Moose quickly beats Ray Steele. After the match, Moose says he things more clearly now and that the only way to get an opportunity is by not being loyal to Impact after the last few World Champions have come and gone while he has put Impact on the map. He says that he has put in the work day in and day out, then says Ray Steele never had a chance and that his family will have to start a GoFundMe as he points at Don Callis. Moose then powerbombs Ray Steele into the ring apron.

Backstage, John E. Bravo catches up with Havok, who says that they can do this "the hard way or the fun way" in regards to Taya Valkyrie. Havok takes off her mask and John E. tries to kiss her only to get shoved back. John E. says they will do this the hard way.

At The Rascalz' (Dezmond Xavier, Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz) treehouse, The Rascalz have a match for the tag team titles next week. Zachary Wentz reveals that he is going to a Jonas Brothers concert with Gail Kim, who is suddenly in the treehouse. This leaves Trey Miguel and Dezmond Xavier to go for the tag team titles next week.

The Impact Plus Flashback of the Week is "The Cowboy" James Storm vs. Bobby Roode from Bound For Glory 2012.

Backstage, Melissa Santos interviews Kiera Hogan when Madison Rayne shows up to make fun of her. This leads to an argument which Melissa wants no part of.

Backstage, Ace Austin tries to impress Alisha Edwards with some magic tricks and ask her out on a date. It does not exactly work, and Alisha leaves. He is then approached by another woman, whom he immediately insults.

Rob Van Dam beats Willie Mack.

Backstage, Ace Austin tries to impress Alisha Edwards with the "live bird in a box" trick, but Stone Rockwell shows up and ruins the trick by opening the box and dragging Austin away by his crotch.

Backstage, Konnan talks with Ortiz. Konnan tells a drunk Ortiz - who is worried because Santana's knee will not heal overnight - that Daga will take Santana's place against The North ("All Ego" Ethan Page and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander). Ortiz wants a killer to tag with him, and does not want Daga's help.

Backstage, Melissa Santos interviews Michael Elgin, who says Impact management and "The Machine" Brian Cage must be stupid after he has shown what he is capable of, and says Cage is scared because this is a non-title match. He says Cage likes to call himself "The Machine," but the machine keeps breaking down because of him, and instead of going to rehab, he just comes right back. He then tells Cage to worry more about training than his wife Melissa Santos, much to the disgust of Melissa.

Jake Crist beats Rich Swann to become the Impact X Division Championship after Dave Crist gets involved by putting Jake's foot on the bottom rope during a pinfall attempt. Swann chases the Crist brothers into the ring and hits adouble cutter on them, and as the ref checks on Dave, Madman Fulton shows up and pushes Swann off the top rope to allow Jake to hit a cutter followed by the Buckeye Drop to win the title.

Backstage, Sami Callihan calls Jake Crist's X Division Championship victory an oVe (Callihan, Jake, Dave Crist, Madman Fulton) victory, then Sami takes offense to Jake saying he did what Sami couldn't, shoots down Jake calling himself "The Golden Draw" and focuses on beating Tessa Blanchard for a World title shot.

Before the next match, "The Machine" Brian Cage iseen laid out on the stage. Michael Elgin shows up and hits Cage with a steel chair. After Elgin gets Cage in the ring, he says that their match tonight being a non-title match proves the only thing he has going is breaking "The Machine" again. Elgin gets another steel chair and smacks it into the back of Cage's head, then uses it to fight off members of security who try to get him to stop, none of whom last for very long. Elgin then places Cage's head in an open chair. Ring announcer Melissa Santos runs out and demands Elgin stop, then the masked man from Slammiversary shows up. Elgin throws a chair at the masked man. Suddenly, another masked man shows up and unmasks, revealing himself to be Rhyno, fresh out of WWE, before hitting Elgin with a Gore and leaving through the crowd. As he does, he reveals he is wearing an Impact T-shirt, revealing that he has signed with the company and is no longer in WWE.

Here are the top five moments from tonight's show!
