"The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese tells "Gentleman" Jack Gallagher and Oney Lorcan that Drew Gulak is the most dangerous he has ever been, and even though he will beat him at Extreme Rules, they cannot underestimate his tag team partners lightly. Gallagher looks forward to extending his win streak against Mike Kanellis, and Lorcan looks forward to giving Ariya Daivari more stitches.

The Lucha House Party (Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik) beat The Singh Brothers (Samir and Sunil Singh) in a tornado tag team match after Kalisto stops The Singh Brothers from using their Boscar statuette as a weapon.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Mike Kanellis. He admits he is not emotionally ready for tonight, but he is still here to compete, and Maria Kanellis will not be with him tonight as they are "not exactly talking" after Maria's verbal evisceration. He blames General Manager Drake Maverick for the rift between him and Maria, for he would be happy and celebrating his second child if Maverick had given him opportunity, and says that Maverick will pay for hurting his family and that Maria will see he is man enough.
