Raw Deal - Raw recap for July 15, 2019

Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar show up to start tonight's show. Heyman says "I told you so" not only to the fans but to the wrestlers in the back and that he has "all the stroke around here" right now, that Lesnar does what he wants and that there is a plan to decide who will face Brock Lesnar for the Universal title. He announces that there will be a cross-brand, top-10 all-star battle royal tonight, and that the winner will be the next to be victimized by Brock Lesnar. The competitors announced for this match are Seth Rollins, Randy Orton, Big E, Cesaro, Braun Strowman, Rey Mysterio, Baron Corbin, Sami Zayn, Bobby Lashley and Roman Reigns. Heyman then states that Rollins strolled in last night like "Becky Lynch's stud" and came out a gelding, and says that whoever gets in the ring with Brock Lesnar will risk their health, welfare, career and manhood, as all ten potential opponents are all "Brock's bitches." As Heyman and Lesnar leave, Ricochet shows up for his match.

Ricochet and The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) beat Robert Roode and The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) in a two-out-of-three falls match. Ricochet gets the first fall after hitting the Recoil. Scott Dawson gets the second fall with the flapjack on Jimmy Uso. Ricochet gets the third fall with a Recoil followed by the top rope 630 to Robert Roode. After the match, The Club ("The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson) shows up, and when Ricochet tries to fight them, the numbers game catches up. The Usos try to help, The Revival and Robert Roode get involved, and the brawl ends with a Phenomenal Forearm and Magic Killer to Ricochet.

The Viking Raiders (Ivar and Erik) beat Vinny Gruder and Jackson James.

In footage from earlier today, Drew McIntyre walks into the locker room and confronts Cedric Alexander over last week, saying he plans to humble him tonight. Cedric tells McIntyre the joke will be on him.

Cedric Alexander beats Drew McIntyre after countering the Alabama Slam into a victory roll.

We hear from Finn Balor, who says that last night was a tough night. He does not dwell on the past, and he looks for a way to keep moving forward. Tonight, Samoa Joe is in his way, and he will find a way to keep moving forward. We then hear from Samoa Joe, who says that unless he is calling for the old Irish gods to strike him down, Finn Balor will walk out there so he can hand him another loss.

Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Roman Reigns, who says that this is his week and that he has to dominate tonight to cap it off strong and take back the Universal Championship.

Samoa Joe beats Finn Balor with a crucifix pin. After the match, Joe continues to attack Finn and puts him in the Coaquina Clutch, but Finn fights back and hits the Coup De Grace. Afterwards, Finn Balor's music fades out in a record-scratch like fashion, then the lights go out and action can be heard in the ring. Suddenly, a masked Bray Wyatt can be seen in the ring, and when the lights come back on, he hits Finn Balor with Sister Abigail.

Backstage, Drake Maverick and his wife check into a hotel. After checking in, R-Truth and a referee show up from behind the counter looking for Maverick and his wife. The scene then transitions to Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) watching from backstage, who make light of the consummation of Drake Maverick's marriage before mentioning tonight's women's Fatal 4-Way match. Angelo Dawkins says that Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross will win it, then he and Montez Ford focus on tonight's ten-man battle royal. Dawkins pulls for Big E, while Ford predicts Seth Rollins will win it.

Backstage, Mike Kanellis is met by Maria Kanellis, who says she is taking this match despite being pregnant, as Mike is a loser and that she is more capable of defending the honor of their unborn child. When Maria makes her way to the ring, Mike shows up and tells Maria he has got this. Zack Ryder wins with a Ruff Ryder in mere seconds. After the match, Maria tells Mike he should have let her wrestle, as their unborn child has a better chance in the ring tonight than him.

The Club ("The Phenomenal" AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson) beats The Lucha House Party (Kalisto, Lince Dorado, Gran Metalik) with a Calf Crusher to Kalisto. During the match, Ricochet attacks Styles from behind the referee's back, and referees and officials have to separate Ricochet from Styles. After the match, Styles keeps the Calf Crusher applied to Kalisto a little bit longer, then boots him out of the ring.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Seth Rollins, who says that he has to stay focused after last night, even though he has to stand without the Universal Championship and watch Lesnar walk around with a title he does not deserve. He is hurt, but he is a man possessed, and states that Becky Lynch is a tough individual and will be okay. He also states that Baron Corbin found out what happens when he is pushed too far, as he will fight anybody to take the Universal Title back.

Becky Lynch shows up to watch the next match from ringside.

Natalya beats Carmella, Naomi and Alexa Bliss in a Fatal 4-Way Elimination Match to face Becky Lynch for the WWE Raw Women's Championship at SummerSlam. During the match, Nikki Cross turns on the fans for not cheering for Alexa Bliss. Not surprisingly, this leads to "You Suck!" chants from the crowd before Natalya eliminates Alexa Bliss with the Sharpshooter. After the match, Charly Caruso interviews Natalya, saying so much has happened in the last year and that facing her friend Becky Lynch in her home country is a dream come true. Becky takes a microphone and tells Natalya that she is always here to fight as nothing makes her happier. She then tells Natalya that she likes her, but she had better step up if she doesn't her to wipe the floor with her. After telling Natalya that she needs something in her career and that she is it, Becky says she does much better in war than in love. Natalya says "You must not be a very good lover, bitch," then says she will rip her hair off her head, pull the horseshoe out of her ass and kick the living hell out of her.

We hear from Randy Orton, who says that after he wins tonight's battle royal, he has some unfinished business with Brock Lesnar to attend to and enough venom to strike with the RKO.

It's time for Miz TV. Tonight's guest is Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler shows up, saying he wanted to be on the show tonight to see if The Miz is a company yes man who reads off a teleprompter and is just happy to be here. After asking if it was worth kissing all that ass only to not be on the pay-per-view, Miz says he's rather not be on the pay-per-view than lose to Kevin Owens in seventeen seconds. Ziggler continues to accuse The Miz of being a walking gimmick rather than trying to be the best, and says that Miz has become everything he has always hated and wrong with the business, because all he cares about is fortune and fame like his wife Maryse. Miz immediately beats up Ziggler and sends him rolling out of the ring.

At the hotel room, Drake Maverick is wearing nothing but his underwear and the WWE 24/7 Championship as he waits for his wife Renee on the bed. All of a sudden, room service shows up, but the person delivering the champagne is a referee. R-Truth comes out from underneath the serving table, and even though Maverick throws roses at him, R-Truth pins Drake Maverick to win the 24/7 Championship for the ninth time.

We see footage of WWE Superstars at The Espys.

Before the next match, Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar show up, and Lesnar sits on a steel chair on the stage to watch the match.

Seth Rollins beats Randy Orton, Big E, Cesaro, Braun Strowman, Rey Mysterio, Baron Corbin, Sami Zayn, Bobby Lashley and Roman Reigns in a cross-brand top ten all-star battle royal to face Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam. After the match, Paul Heyman declares Seth Rollins as both the victim and the next man to be victimized, brutalized and beaten by Brock Lesnar. Rollins tells Heyman to shut up and tells Lesnar that he will beat him for the Universal Championship again. Afterwards, Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman rush to the ring, with Lesnar swinging his steel chair around.

Here are the top ten moments from tonight's show!
