205:Alive - 205 Live recap for July 30, 2019

Akira Tozawa and The Brian Kendrick beat The Singh Brothers (Samir and Sunil Singh) after The Singh Brothers try to use their Bollywood award as a weapon only for their plan to backfire.

We see part three of a sit-down interview with Humberto Carrillo, where Carrillo talks about his time in 205 Live. Carrillo plans to work hard to win the Cruiserweight Champion and become the first in his family to win a WWE title.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews The Lucha House Party (Kalisto, Lince Dorado, Gran Metalik). Kalisto says everyone in 205 Live is lucha right now, and praises Humberto Carrillo and Raul Mendoza for their efforts last week. Lince Dorado says that The Lucha House Party is still on top, saying that they are lucha libre while Carrillo just talks about it. He then heads to the ring for his match.

Lince Dorado beats Ariya Daivari.

We hear from Drew Gulak, who wants to know who his SummerSlam opponent is due to nobody having the resolve to step to him. If Mike Kanellis wins tonight, he has Kanellis for SummerSlam; otherwise, he is left alone. Regardless of who his opponent is, pain and punishment await.

Drake Maverick beats Mike Kanellis in an unsanctioned match. (If Kanellis won, he would have faced Drew Gulak for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship at SummerSlam.)
