Raw Deal - Raw recap for July 8, 2019

Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins beat Andrade and Zelina Vega in an elimination mixed tag match. During the match, Lacey Evans is in the front row after Becky eliminates Zelina with the Dis-Arm-Her, and Becky rushes up and hits Lacey repeatedly before Rollins holds her back. After the match, Baron Corbin runs out and attacks Rollins from behind. After Becky throws a few right hands at Corbin, Lacey Evans shows up and hits Becky with a Woman's Right. As referees check on Rollins and Becky, Paul Heyman shows up.

Backstage, Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans laugh about their attack on Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch as well as their potential victory on Sunday and what it might do to Rollins and Becky. Lacey says that Rollins and Becky's relationship is a liability, not an asset, and Baron Corbin says it reminds him of the song "Love Stinks."

Paul Heyman is in the ring. He says he knows a lot about extreme in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and states that this Sunday, Brock Lesnar will cash in his Money In The Bank contract, and that is a spoiler. He says he has not violated a spoiler since before WrestleMania 30, and if there was a time for him to lie, it would be now, and he could be telling the truth or a lie and only he knows the answer. He then says that only one other person knows the answer: Brock Lesnar.

Braun Strowman vs. Bobby Lashley in a Last Man Standing Match is official for Extreme Rules.

Backstage, Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon meet Tony, "the best garbageman in the world," Shane asks him if he wants to be Roman Reigns' tag team partner, and tells him to stick around.

Before the next match, The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) welcome The Miz to "the real team" before telling The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) that they will become seven-time tag champs very soon.

The Miz and The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) beat Elias and The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) two falls to one (2-1) in a two-out-of-three falls match. Elias and The Revival score the first fall with the Shatter Machine as Miz chases Elias to the stage. After the commercial, it is announced that Elias has walked out of the match after being attacked by The Miz, effectively making the match a three-on-two handicap match. The Miz and The Usos score the second fall with a Skull Crushing Finale to Scott Dawson, and then score the third fall after a flurry of offense to Dawson by The Usos.

We see video from Drake Maverick, where he and his wife go on vacation in Orlando, Florida before heading to Newark, New Jersey. Backstage, Maverick's wife chews him out for the two of them spending their honeymoon and caring more for the 24/7 Championship than her. Maverick says he will prove what a great champion and husband he is before going on their honeymoon. After Maverick's wife says they can consummate their marriage in the meantime, Maverick shouts about it only to get the attention of everyone else, who chase him around backstage.

Backstage, Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre give Louie, an arena beer man, the chance to tag with Roman Reigns later tonight.

Rey Mysterio shows up. Rey says he stood in the ring six weeks ago with his arm in a sling to surrender the WWE United States Championship, and that he rehabbed harder and became hungrier to beat the doctor's predictions and get back in the ring. He says he is ready to compete, and tonight, he is issuing an open challenge to anybody in the back that is listening. That challenge is answered by Bobby Lashley.

Bobby Lashley beats Rey Mysterio. After the match, Lashley tosses Rey out of the ring, then drags him up the entrance ramp. He then looks at the mini-tron and has an idea. After lifting Rey over his head, he drops him before throwing him into the mini-tron as multiple referees show up. Lashley then goes for it again, but this time he throws Rey into the referees. He then makes his way to the commentary table, takes a microphone and declares himself the only man standing from last week and that he will be the last man standing on Sunday.

Backstage, Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) give a shameless plug for Extreme Rules and the match between the team of Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre and the team of Roman Reigns and The Undertaker. They then mention tonight's match where Roman Reigns has to tag with a partner of Shane's choosing against Shane and McIntyre and how they think it will go.

Backstage, Mike Kanellis apologizes to Maria Kanellis, who immediately wants ice cream and pickles before accusing him of calling her fat. After Mike leaves, Maria wonders what kind of man taps out to a woman.

Michael Cole interviews Bayley and Nikki Cross. Nikki feels she has to win against Bayley tonight, as she owes everything as of late to Alexa Bliss. Bayley tells Nikki that Alexa is using her and that Nikki is the reason she has a title match. Once again, Nikki accuses Bayley of running down Alexa and being jealous of her, and says that the more she bashes her, the more motivated she becomes. It is announced that Bayley will take on Sarah Logan, while Nikki Cross will take on Dana Brooke. Bayley is confident that she can beat the clock, and Nikki Cross says she is tough enough to beat Dana Brooke and beat the clock as well.

Backstage, R-Truth and Drake Maverick are looking for Drake Maverick and the WWE 24/7 Championship. R-Truth talks about how he wants the 24/7 Championship back when he sees everyone chasing Drake Maverick. Truth then runs with Carmella in the other direction.

In the locker room, Charly Caruso interviews Roman Reigns, who says the only people playing mind games tonight is his team.

Before the next match, Ricochet said he proved himself against "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles last week, but before he could celebrate, The Club (Styles, Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson) got back together and gave him a beating. He plans to retain the United States title on Sunday, but as for tonight, he's in for the fight of his life and that he'll have to fight Luke Gallows, Karl Anderson and AJ Styles all at once. When The Club shows up, Styles thanks Ricochet for the recap and tells him to slow down and appreciate the moment, for Luke Gallows will stomp a mudhole in him. He then brags about The Club giving Ricochet a beating last week, and after a video package of last week's events, the next match begins.

Ricochet beats Luke Gallows with a roll-up. After the match, "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles proposes that Ricochet put his money where his mouth in and face Karl Anderson next.

Ricochet beats Karl Anderson. After the match, "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and Luke Gallows attack Ricochet in the ring before Gallows and Anderson hit the Magic Killer. Styles teases hitting Ricochet with a Styles Clash from the second rope before pushing him away, and says he will leave a little bit of Ricochet as long as he stays down, so he has no excuse when he beats him Sunday. As he, Gallows and Anderson leave, Gallows and Anderson notice Ricochet get back up, and the three of them get back in the ring to hit Ricochet with a Phenomenal Forearm.

Gary agrees to the deal, and Shane and McIntyre even throw in a mask for the man to wear.

After the match, Nikki Cross demands that Bayley get in the ring so she can tell her that she doesn't understand what real friendship is, and that she will show her what it means at Extreme Rules when the match becomes a two-on-one handicap match. Nikki says she will help Alexa take the SmackDown Women's title from her, and advises Bayley to go and find a friend of her own, as she will need someone as loyal and honest as Alexa to slap some sense into her. Bayley responds by slapping Nikki. When Nikki tries to attack Bayley, Bayley hits the Bayley-To-Belly before hitting Nikki with an elbow drop from the top rope.

Backstage, Mike Kanellis brings back the ice cream and pickles to Maria Kanellis, who asks Mike if he would impregnate her if she asked her to. Mike says yes, but Maria says it will never happen again, and says she doesn't know who impregnated her this time.

Backstage, Corey Graves interviews Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch, who asks how their relationship will affect their match on Sunday, especially if they were to lose. Becky says she and Rollins have backed up everything they have said, and on Sunday, there are no rules, she is taking the handcuffs off and she is not holding back, and that they will walk out as champions. After Becky leaves, Seth says "Uh...yeah. What she said," then leaves.

Backstage, Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) talk about what happened between Kofi Kingston and Samoa Joe before hyping up their match for the WWE Championship at Extreme Rules and picking who they think will win. They also cover the Winner Takes All mixed tag team match between the team of Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans and the team of Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch.

Before the next match - and after a "proper" introduction for Shane McMahon, Shane boasts that he and Drew McIntyre will beat Roman and The Undertaker on Sunday. McIntyre says he can see through Roman, and says that while he comes across as a nice guy, he disrespects authority and respects only himself. He plans to beat the respect into Roman on Sunday, but for now, everyone will listen to what Shane has to say. Shane then announces Roman's tag team partner for tonight: the fifth-grade spelling bee champion and three-time Prudential Employee of the Month, Gary "The Goat" Garbutt, who is wearing a luchador match.
