205:Alive - 205 Live recap for July 9, 2019

We hear from Oney Lorcan, who says that anything goes in his match tonight and that he can use any weapon he wants. If he wants to give Ariya Daivari stitches, he can do that too, and he will. He is then attacked by Daivari, and officials have to keep both men separated.

We see footage from WWE.com where The Brian Kendrick is interrupted in an interview by The Singh Brothers, who patronizingly offer him a lifetime achievement award. This leads to Kendrick challenging them to a one-on-one match.

The Brian Kendrick beats Sunil Singh with the Captain's Hook. After the match, Samir Singh gets in the ring and attacks Kendrick along with Sunil, then Akira Tozara rushes into the ring to make the save for Kendrick.

We see the first part of a three-part interview with Humberto Carrillo, who talks about watching wrestling with his family as a kid, his move from Mexico to the United States, and the support he gets from his family.

"Gentleman" Jack Gallagher beats Devin Justin. During the match, Mike Kanellis shows up and tears up the commentary table and throws trash around in an attempt to ruin the show. As General Manager Drake Maverick and officials try to get Kanellis to leave, Devin Justin tries to get a surprise win only to receive a sudden headbutt that gives Gallagher the win.

Backstage, General Manager Drake Maverick speaks with Mike Kanellis, who says that he has neglected everyone including his own wife as of late and that Kanellis cannot take out his anger like he did. Kanellis blames Maverick for all of his problems, and says it was fair to ruin his show. Maverick says he is still General Manager, and while he sympathizes with him, he has to levy a fine on him. Kanellis tells Maverick to do what he has to do, for he has a match next week and he cannot wait to see what kind of fine Maverick has in store for him after what he plans to do.

Oney Lorcan beats Airya Daivari in an Anything Goes Match after a superplex through two tables.

We see a video package chronicling the events leading to "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese vs. Drew Gulak for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship at Extreme Rules.
