We see a video package of "The Machine" Brian Cage training intercut with footage chronicling the events leading up to Michael Elgin vs. Brian Cage for the Impact World Championship at Slammiversary.
Backstage, Melissa Santos interviews Johnny Impact and John E. Bravo. Impact says they are on the same page, and compares himself and Bravo to The Mega Powers (Hulk Hogan and "Macho Man" Randy Savage) before saying they will take Rich Swann and Willie Mack to Slamtown.
Kiera Hogan beats Madison Rayne after grabbing Madison's hair. After the match, Kiera Hogan dares Jordynne Grace to get in the ring, but runs away from her when she does.
Gama Singh gives Rohit Raju the Singh family tea set, but behind Gama's back, The Deaners (Cody Deaner and Cousin Jake) pour the tea out and replace it with alcohol. When Rohit and Gama drink, they find out what The Deaners have done. Afterwards, Rohit Raju sneaks a drink of alcohol.
Backstage, Father James Mitchell has to get Havok and Su Yung, and tells them that while last week went out of hand, their eyes are on the prize, and all he needs from them is solidarity. After reminding Su Yung that Havok saved her from behind held hostage by Rosemary, he says that it is time to repay the favor to Havok and that the two of them should play nice.
The Impact Plus Flashback of the Week is Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy in a Full Metal Mayhem Match at Slammiversary 2016.
We see a video package for Su Yung vs. Havok vs. Rosemary vs. Taya Valkyrie in a Monster's Ball Match for the Impact Knockouts Championship at Slammiversary.
We see a video package for Sami Callihan vs. Tessa Blanchard at Slammiversary.
Rohit Raju beats Laredo Kid. During the match, the bottom ropes comes completely unhinged from the ring posts.
We see a video package for Rob Van Dam vs. Moose at Slammiversary.
Moose shows up. He says he would be lying through his teeth if he said he didn't love Rob Van Dam, but says that was twenty years ago and things have changed, and when he beat up RVD, he realized he could not be a fan of his because he is better than him. He says that he has been all around the world, made millions of dollars and got a supermodel girlfriend like RVD, and that he is also a future hall of famer just like him, and while RVD calls himself "The Whole F'n Show," he is "Mr. Impact Wrestling." At Slammiversary, he will give RVD a chance to validate himself as "Mr. Pay-Per-View." Moose then shows a video on the video screen where it is revealed that he has attacked Sabu. He then tells Rob Van Dam that he will beat him at Slammiversary and retire him, then Rob Van Dam shows up and fights him in the ring until security shows up.
Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz beat Trey Miguel in a three-way match. As per pre-match stipulation, Trey will not be in Xavier and Wentz' match at Slammiversary.
Tessa Blanchard shows up outside of the arena with an aluminum baseball bat.
We see a video package for Eddie Edwards vs. Killer Kross in a First Blood Match at Slammiversary.
At the church in Boston, Massachusetts, Killer Kross holds a sermon concerning Eddie Edwards, stating that at Slammiversary, Eddie will die for his sins before proclaiming himself the only true salvation. Kross then drinks from a cup, and blood comes out of his mouth.
We see a video package for Johnny Impact vs. Rich Swann for the Impact X Division Championship at Slammiversary.
It is announced that TJP will issue an X Division Open Challenge at Slammiversary.

Backstage, Sami Callihan and Jake Crist have a party planned outside. As they are about to celebrate, Dave Crist is thrown across the table by Tessa Blanchard, who smcks Jake with the bat before fighting Sami. As Sami begs Tessa off, Jake grabs Tessa from behind so that Sami can slug her in the gut. Tessa breaks free and hits Sami with her own bat.
