Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for July 12, 2019

This week's episode is a Slammiversary recap episode.

After Slammiversary, Rob Van Dam admits that he underestimated Moose and that Moose was ready for him. Moose says he has proved that he is "Mr. Impact Wrestling" tonight. Rob Van Dam says he needs to improve and get another chance to redeem himself, so he can be ready for Moose the next time around.



After Slammiversary, Killer Kross says that Eddie Edwards has no idea who he is anymore and that it is time to center him into the man he is meant to be. Eddie Edwards says that Killer Kross loves to play games both physically and mentally, and that he has gotten used to these games and has gotten better because of it. Eddie says he does not know what he is capable of at this point, but he cherishes, encourages this chaos. Kross says he knows Eddie better than Eddie knows himself, and that Eddie has so much heart he can get through anything. He says it will be interesting what Eddie changes into. Eddie says he and Kross have been in wars, and that he likes what has transpired during those wars and how both of them have went over the edge. Kross says he knew long before anybody else did that Eddie is just like him.



Josh Mathews and Don Callis talk with Jimmy Jacobs about the four-way Knockouts' Monster's Ball Match. Jacobs gives his insight about the match along with Callis.

After Slammiversary, Father James Mitchell says that Havok would be a co-champion had Su Yung won, and says that Taya Valkyrie and Rosemary cannot trust each other. Mitchell states that Su Yung or Havok will be the winner. After Slammiversary, Taya says she proved all of her naysayers wrong, and that she is so happy and proud of herself to retain and that she will hold the Knockouts title forever. Meanwhile, Father James Mitchell is irritated with Su Yung for spitting red mist into his face inadvertently and goes off to look for her after stating that Su Yung has gone AWOL.

D'Lo Brown gives his insight on the events leading to the triple threat tag team title match from Slammiversary as well as the match itself along with Don Callis.

After Slammiversary, The North ("All Ego" Ethan Page and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander) state that they have proven that they are the best twice in three days. The Rascalz (Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz) admit that they have to regroup and that their losing has to end. Zachary Wentz feels that The North stole the victory from him and Dezmond Xavier. The North state that they will take on all challengers. We then see footage of Santana being helped to the back, where Konnan tells The North that their "idiot's luck" will run out when The Latin-American Xchange (Santana and Ortiz) returns.



Johnny Impact and Michael Elgin vs. The Great Muta and Tommy Dreamer from A Night You Can't Mist is replayed.

Josh Mathews and Don Callis interview Tommy Dreamer concerning his match from A Night You Can't Mist. Dreamer and Callis also gives their insight on Sami Callihan vs. Tessa Blanchard at Slammiversary.

After Slammiversary, Tessa Blanchard and Sami Callihan talk about how important their main event match was, with both wrestlers admitting how tough the other is and how they pushed each other to the limit. Tessa says that the two of them made history in the evolution of professional wrestling, and Sami states that if he did not face Tessa as anything less than an equal, it would have been bad for professional wrestling. We then see Sami tell Tessa "Let's do it again."

"The Canadian Destroyer" Petey Williams and Don Callis give their insight on Johnny Impact vs. Rich Swann for the Impact X Division Championship at Slammiversary.

Before Slammiversary, Rich Swann looks forward to keeping the X Division title and proving he is one of the best to hold the title while Johnny Impact looks forward to winning it and turning his 2019 around. After Slammiversary, Swann says he did what he said he would do and that he is going to celebrate and party, while Johnny takes his anger out on John E. Bravo before leaving, which leads to Taya Valkyrie also yelling at John E. Bravo.



Scott D'Amore and Don Callis give their insight on the events leading up and including Michael Elgin vs. "The Machine" Brian Cage for the Impact World Championship at Slammiversary.

After Slammiversary, "The Machine" Brian Cage says that being less than 100% did not stop him from proving he is the rightful champion, and Michael Elgin says Cage could not get the job done like he usually does. Cage says he knew Elgin was good and was deserving of a title shot. Meanwhile, Elgin complains about Don Callis' complaints about him. Cage doesn't care much about the masked man after the match, but Elgin thinks Callis sent him. Elgin also says that he came here to become World Champion, and that it is not over.



Jordynne Grace beats Kiera Hogan and Madison Rayne in a Triple Threat Match. After the match, Rayne reluctantly shakes hands with Jordynne, then attacks her from behind. This starts a brawl between both women that Hogan quickly gets involved in, and Rayne and Hogan gang up on Jordynne to end the show.
