In the ring, Scott D'Amore calls Rebellion a big night not just for Impact Wrestling, but for the wrestling industry. He then says that will assume Kenny Omega is here before tonight's show is over, or else the match will be to crown a new Impact World Championship. He says that either way, the stakes could not be higher. MJF also says Jericho is exhausted and that heavy is the head that wears the crown, and at Blood & Guts, he will take Jericho's crown while The Pinnacle replaces The Inner Circle at the mountaintop. He then says that when all is said is done and he takes Jericho's spot, he will once again thanks Jericho. Jericho calls MJF a prick for thinking he can just inherit a spot, telling him he has to earn it and learn respect at a young age like he did. Jericho tells MJF that he will have to beat The Inner Circle at Blood & Guts, and that this will not happen for The Inner Circle are blood and guts. Omega is then attacked from behind by Jon Moxley, who gets Omega in the ring. Eddie wraps the chair around Omega's left ankle. He then says Taz wishes he could come back like he did and says that Taz will not leech off of him. Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for April 22, 2021
We hear from Deonna Purrazzo, who says that while she is not competing tonight, the rest of the women's division will be going to bed early, but she did not become champion by going to bed early. She says that Susie has a match tonight against the #1 contender to the Knockouts Championship, Tenille Dashwood, and that she will be scouting from ringside. She says that Tenille has roots in women's wrestling, and while she is good, she is not the best.
"The Canadian Destroyer" Petey Williams beats Fallah Bahh and Madman Fulton in a three-way match. During the match, "Inevitable" Ace Austin tries to interfere with a steel pipe, but TJP stops him with a brrom. He keeps Fulton and Ace Austin at bay, and as the referee is distracted by what is going on on the stage and Petey Williams has Fallah Bahh up top, "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander makes the assist for Williams to help him get the win.
The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) beat Decay (Crazzy Steve and Black Taurus). After the match, Anderson calls out Juice Robinson and David Finlay, saying that 2020 was the best year that The Good Brothers had and that they might have gotten a little too comfortable and a little too cocky. Anderson thanks them for waking The Good Brothers up, and says that the only thing in the world that matters is reclaiming the Impact World Tag Team Championships. Gallows says Robinson and Finlay for mistaking their good time for complacency, then thanks them for waking them up as they will get the victory at Rebellion.
Members of the Impact locker room predict who will win between Rich Swann and Kenny Omega at Rebellion.
We see a video package for Violent By Design (Eric Young, Joe Doering, Deaner, Rhino) and the team of "The Cowboy" James Storm, Chris Sabin, Eddie Edwards and Willie Mack at Rebellion.
Tenille Dashwood beats Susan. After the match, Tenille addresses Deonna Purrazzo, saying that nobody is stepping up and yet here she is, and that the only thing bigger than Deonna is her. She says that she has made history in women's wrestling and that Deonna would not be where she is without her, and tells Deonna to shine the Knockouts Championship up because she will be taking it at Rebellion.
Backstage, Brian Myers says he refuses to live in the past, which is where he and Matt Cardona are different. He says that he continues to evolve and grow while Cardona lives in yesterday and thinks he is owed something. He tells Cardona to move on like he did, and now that he has accepted his challenge at Rebellion, he sees clearly what Cardona really is: someone who has been in his way for far too long. He says that at Rebellion, Cardona is just another roster cut.
More members of the Impact locker room predict who will between Rich Swann and Kenny Omega at Rebellion.
We hear from Sami Callihan, as he tells Trey Miguel that he should have listened to him for he could have given him the world and they could have taken over everything. He says that he must now make an example out of Trey at Rebellion, and this time, he will not just leave him laying or give him an opportunity to get back up and show he has passion, and that he will make sure he never walks again.
Shera beats Jake Something following the distraction from Rohit Raju.
Trey Miguel talks with his trainer, who tells him that his match with Sami Callihan is all about him and that he has nothing to prove to him, and that he must show to Sami Callihan who he is. Trey threatens to rip Sami's legs off and mount them to the lobby wall. We then see a Trey Miguel training montage.
We see a video package for TJP vs. "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander vs. "Inevitable" Ace Austin for the Impact X Division Championship at Rebellion.
Rich Swann heads to the ring. Swann recaps what happened at last week's press conference, then says that if Kenny Omega wants to put his hands right now, then he can try to do it again and they can go right now. Don Callis and Kenny Omega show up on the video screen, and Callis says they cannot be in the building tonight. He then says that when the inevitable happens, they will grace Impact and AXS TV with Omega's presence as Impact World Champion each and every week. Callis also says they will use the opportunity to remind everyone why Omega is a wrestling god, and Omega says that having multiple world championships will give him a right to have a huge ego and allow them to make history. Omega then calls winning the Impact World Championship another step towards world takeover. After Omega and Callis disappear from the video screen, Moose shows up for the first time in weeks. Moose congratulates Swann on beating him, and says he has had a long time to think about what happened at Sacrifice, as he showed Swann his hand and Swann took advantage of him as a true world champion. Moose tells Swann he should be well-prepared for Omega after having faced him, and says that Swann can only answer the question of who between him and Omega showed Swann what pain really felt like. Moose says that while he is better than Omega, he says that Omega has something he didn't have: three stooges who will do what whatever he tells them to do. He then wishes Swann good luck, and tells him not to lose his titles to Omega or else he will make him pay. Swann tells Moose that he will win the AEW World Championship, and that he will have no problem beating Moose again.
Even more members of the Impact locker room predict who will win between Rich Swann and Kenny Omega at Rebellion.

Finley says that they will prove they are the best tag team in the world all over again at Rebellion.
We see a video package for Rich Swann vs. Kenny Omega for the Impact World Championship and the AEW World Championship at Rebellion.
