He then proclaims he is done with the "CM Punk" chanters, as they are chanting in his memory after everything Punk had done to him. He then proclaims that the "CM Punk" chanters are dead to him and do not exist before addressing Punk, hoping that he is uncomfortable, in pain and being fed through a straw after what he did to him. McIntyre claims that he not only took his dignity, but also a friendship bracelet with his dog Larry's name as well as AJ Lee's name, and mocks the bracelet as well as its meaning, saying Punk is now alone and in pain because of him. McIntyre then declares for the men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match, hoping Punk watches alone, in pain and in misery. He then says that he was once alone, but no longer, as he wears the bracelet, as he has Punk's family in his corner now and he will win and cash in to become World Heavyweight Champion in spite of Punk.

Backstage at The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh) clubhouse, everyone is playing WWE 2K24 on a PlayStation 5. Dominik Mysterio mentions that it is all a gift from Liv Morgan, then Dominik shows Priest something on his phone which proves that Liv Morgan has his phone number (and is implied to be Liv's nudes). Priest tells Dominik that he has to find a way to end things with Liv Morgan tonight. Dominik leaves, then Priest mentions that they still have a Braun Strowman problem and also leaves. Tyrese Haliburton is seen in the front row.

Liv Morgan is in the ring. Liv Morgan is in the ring. She calls out "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio to get his attention, hoping that she enjoyed the gifts she gave him and the text she sent him even more. She says that Dominik is playing hard to get, but when Dominik is honest with himself and realizes he wants her, she has more in store for him. Liv says that Rhea Ripley never sent Dominik any gifts, then says Dominik can thank her for the gifts so she can give him one more in front of the fans. Zelina Vega shows up and says she has the gift of shutting Liv Morgan up, then says she does not understand why Liv is interested in "Rhea Ripley's sloppy seconds" before proclaiming she is out here for championship gold. Liv says she has not forgotten about the Women's World Championship and that she put Rhea Ripley into early retirement to get it, and that it means more to her than anything. Zelina says Liv is more focused on having fun, and that Liv schemed for championship opportunities while she starved for hers. Zelina then dares Liv to put her title on the line tonight, and Liv says she will do it next week. Zelina says she is not waiting for next week as Liv calls for Dominik, then Dominik shows up. Dominik says he did not like the gifts before Liv asks Dominik if he liked her text as she helps him into the ring. Zelina asks what is going on as she pretends to throw up in her mouth, then says Liv did not have to put her man in her way if she was afraid to fight. Dominik says he is not Liv's man, and tells Zelina that if she is going to fight for the Women's World Championship, then she wants to help. He knows that Zelina and Rhea Ripley have had their differences, but he would rather see anyone but Liv with the Women's World title. As Zelina is clearly not buying this and telling Dominik she does not need his help, Liv attacks Zelina. Rey Mysterio suddenly shows up and pulls Liv off of Zelina. Dominik then shoves Rey, which turns Liv on before Dominik leaves. Liv then follows Dominik to the back.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley is reporting from outside Chad Gable's dressing room. As for last week's attack, Pearce says it is not his story to tell and that Gable is not ready to tell it yet.

Backstage, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio wants nothing to do with Liv Morgan, who thanks Dominik for being her hero against "his deadbeat dad" Rey Mysterio. After Dominik leaves, R-Truth shows up and says reluctant heroes like "Tom and Nick Mysterio" are the best kinds of heroes, and Liv gets the idea of helping Dom get a match against Rey next week. She also wants to get a tag team title match for Finn Balor and JD McDonagh, and despite R-Truth not liking JD, R-Truth says he can make it happen. After Liv leaves, R-Truth mentions that he thinks Liv is Carmella. The Miz then has to run backstage from the commentary table to talk sense into R-Truth backstage.

Before the next match, Chad Gable asks the fans if they believe in miracles, then says the news of his demise was greatly exaggerated. Gable states that while he was left for dead by "a bunch of monsters," "Chad Gable cannot be killed," and he has decided in a show of bravery to face two more monsters and become "Master In The Bank."

Chad Gable beats "Big" Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman in a Triple Threat Match to qualify for the men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match after The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh) and Carlito attack Strowman on the outside to allow Gable to hit Bronson with a top rope moonsault to win and qualify. After the match, the lights start going out little by little, Bray Wyatt stile, with Chad Gable standing in the middle of the ring as fog forms around the mat. "Abbie" shows up from underneath the ring and corners Gable, and Gable is able to slide out of the ring. "Abbie" then crawls out of the ring and places a box in front of Michael Cole at the announce table before leaving through the crowd.

After the break, it is announced that the box handed to Michael Cole earlier is addressed to Pat McAfee, who is not here tonight. Michael Cole opens the box and finds a VHS tape with the words "Play Me" on the side label.

Backstage, Chad Gable meets with Alpha Academy (Otis, Maxxine Dupri, Akira Tozawa), and tells them that his life flashed before his eyes last week and that he has been wrong for the last two months, which he admits have been rough, and apologizes. Gable says families fight, but family sticks together. Otis says anyone who hurts Tozawa or Maxxine is not family, and that they are done. Maxxine tells Gable that he put them through a lot, but he really hurt Otis. She then says that they are all glad that he is okay, and that Otis just needs some time before telling Gable that he will talk to Otis. Afterwards, Chad Gable is met by Ivy Nile and The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed), and Gable tells them that he is not okay and that he needs help.

Backstage, Damian Priest finds Liv Morgan leaving the Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Priest, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh) clubhouse, then finds Finn Balor on the Sony PlayStation 5. Finn tells Priest that thanks to Liv, Dominik has a match with Rey Mysterio next week, while he and JD McDonagh have a World Tag Team title shot tonight.

Backstage, The Miz catches up with R-Truth and finds out that the World Tag Team title match is official and that R-Truth says he "did it for love." The Miz says it is more about them and their titles, but R-Truth says he only loves Miz as a friend.

Damian Priest heads to the ring. Priest says he understands why Seth "Freakin'" Rollins sees himself in him, then says he sees a man who he does not want to become in Rollins. He says he does not want to see someone who is his successor, and while Rollins is great, but as long as he remains World Champion, Rollins will never see the mountaintop again. Rollins then shows up and heads to the ring, then says tonight is still his show before addressing Priest's claims that he will never be champion again for as long as Priest himself is champion, saying he does not believe him. Rollins thinks that Priest has "a false bravado" and "does not believe the bullcrap that is coming out of [his] mouth," and says the fans do not buy Priest as World champion because his words do not match with his actions. He says that Priest has stated that he does not need help, but in both of his title defenses, he really needed that help. Priest says he gets where Rollins is coming from, and while he did not ask for help, people got involved. He says he cannot change what happened, but he can stand at the present holding the world title while Rollins represents the past and holds nothing. Rollins says "For now." Rollins then says he is not here to run Priest down, as he has respect for him, then says he does not like being one-upped and that he is here to one-up Priest, as he wants to sweeten the pot at Money In The Bank. Rollins says this is more akin to a "side bet" or "gentlemen's agreement," and says that if Priest can beat him, he will get his wish and he will never challenge for the title again. However, if he were to win, they get to find out once and for all if Priest can stand on his own two feet, and Priest will have no choice but to leave The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Priest, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh). Rollins says that if this were to happen, we would see if Priest really could walk a mile in his shoes. Priest laughs, and says that to him, The Judgment Day needs him more than he needs them, and as Rollins' agreement goes, he accepts. Priest and Rollins shake hands, then Gunther arrives to the ring and says he fully understands that a lot is on the line, then wishes good luck to both men and says he cannot wait to see their match and hopes the better man wins. He then says that at SummerSlam, the better man will become the lesser man in the ring with him. Gunther then leaves.

We see the contents of the VHS cassette tape. We see Uncle Howdy asks someone if they are happy and if they are lost, and if they feel as though they have been forgotten. He also asks if they remember who they are, then we see Bo Dallas, who says "I am nobody." Uncle Howdy then asks Bo Dallas how he felt when Bray Wyatt died, and Bo says the most important thing in his life was taken away from him. He also says that he felt nothing was ever going to matter again, and Uncle Howdy asks Bo if he thinks that he is exploiting his brother's legacy. Bo says that all he ever wanted in his whole life was to be like his brother, as he looked up to him and wanted to be next to him. He says that they were going to rule together, and they had it, and then it was taken away from him, and nobody feels more hurt or feels what he feels than him. Bo says that he had to be a mausoleum so that everyone would remember what Bray stood for and believed, but everyone wanted to forget about "all of us." He says that they made them all remember, then Uncle Howdy laughs and says "Yes, we did."

Karrion Kross beats Kofi Kingston after the rest of The Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar) attack Xavier Woods backstage, which distracts Kofi and allows Kross to hit the Final Prayer for the win.

Kelani says she had Sol Ruca in mind and not Arianna, and Arianna says Sol Ruca does not carry herself like a champion and that only the ocean suits her. Mr. Stone tells Arianna to prove it next week, and Ava makes a match between Arianna and Sol Ruca next week.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for June 17, 2024

Seth "Freakin'" Rollins heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Rollins says he has seen and done it all and got into the business not to be one of the best, but the very best of all time, and he cannot do that without getting back the World Heavyweight Championship. He says that Money In The Bank is only a few short weeks away and that he knows how to climb a ladder pretty well, and he is familiar with the contract and how it is the fastest way to get back in the mix for a shot at the title. Suddenly, Damian Priest heads to the ring and welcomes Rollins back, and admits that he wanted to cash in the Money In The Bank contract on Rollins, and while it did not happen, he still did okay, then tells him that this is his show now. Rollins says he likes where Priest is coming from, especially after he nearly lost a leg on Saturday, then says that the two of them are a lot alike as they both made their names in groups and have won Money In The Bank and bided their time until WrestleMania. He then says that the difference between them is that he "grew a set," and realized that he had to stand on his own two feet to be the best, then asks Damian Priest what kind of champion he wants to be. Priest mentions being Rollins' first title challenger and admits that Rollins was the better man that night, then says things have changed, and proposes a match for the World Heavyweight Championship at Money In The Bank. Rollins thinks this is a trap, but Priest tells him that The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Priest, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh) does not know he is even out here, and asks Rollins if he wants the match or not. Rollins accepts. Rollins then tells Priest that while he is around, the show will always be "Monday Night Rollins."

In backstage footage from earlier today, General Manager Adam Pearce is met by Alpha Academy (Chad Gable, Otis, Maxxine Dupri, Akira Tozawa). Gable demands a rematch against Sami Zayn for the WWE Intercontinental Championship, but Pearce wants him to earn his way back into a title shot. Gable says he is a leader and deserves to be at the front of the line, then tells Pearce to find someone worthy for him. Pearce says he has the perfect opponent for him, then Gable chews out Tozawa.

Chad Gable finds out that his opponent is Braun Strowman.

Braun Strowman beats Chad Gable. After the match, Chad Gable demands that the rest of Alpha Academy (Otis, Maxxine Dupri, Akira Tozawa) get in the ring. Tozawa is the first to get chewed out, but despite her injuries, Maxxine stands between the two of them. Gable responds by taking Maxxine's crutch and tossing it out of the ring, then forcing her to leave the ring. He then chews out Tozawa again before slapping him. Otis hears the slap, then confronts Gable. Otis shoves Gable into the corner, then walks away and helps Maxxine and Tozawa to the back after taking one last look at an angry Gable.

We find out that Finn Balor had taken Liv Morgan's hotel room key and placed it on the table last week.

Backstage, The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh) and Carlito agree that they have to get rid of Braun Strowman. As Finn Balor tells Damian Priest says that he has his back, Priest says he knows that Finn has been acting strangely, and wants to know where his head is at. Finn says that he will be cashing on "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes if he wins the Money In The Bank briefcase. Meanwhile, Dominik is looking for his purple cow vest, but cannot find it.

Iyo Sky beats Kiana James and Zelina Vega in a Triple Threat Match to qualify for the women's Money In The Bank Ladder Match after Liv Morgan shows up wearing "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio's purple cow vest, which distracts Zelina Vega.

Sami Zayn heads to the ring. Sami says he is proud to walk out tonight still Intercontinental Champion, and says that Chad Gable did not make that easy. He says everything started because he beat Gable in a wrestling match, but now, it is over because he beat him in a wrestling match. He says that as far as he is concerned, he is moving on from Chad Gable, but he is lying if he said he could move on from the rest of Alpha Academy (Otis, Maxxine Dupri, Akira Tozawa), as it reminds him of his time in The Bloodline and what he has learned from leaving it. He says that he and "Main Event" Jey Uso did not leave until they were ready, and when Alpha Academy is ready, they will leave Chad Gable. Sami then says he is ready to defend his title against anybody and everybody, then Bron Breakker shows up. Bron Breakker says it is obvious why he is here and what he is capable of, as he has left a bunch of bodies since he showed up and Sami is next on the list, as he is taking the Intercontinental Championship. As Sami asks Breakker if he really wants the title, Sheamus shows up and says he has chased the Intercontinental Championship for five long years, and says he should get the title shot. Sheamus says that he respects Sami, but when the opportunity arises, he will be taking the title, but Bron Breakker interrupts Sheamus and threatens to kick his ass for being in his way. Sheamus says he gets where Bron Breakker is coming from, but Bron Breakker has "no skin in the game" and is still "the new kid." He then tells Breakker to get to the back of the line before he makes him. Sami says the two of them need to sort things out, and says he will talk to General Manager Adam Pearce as the fans are here to see them fight it out, not talk it out.

We hear from Dragon Lee, who talks about how Carlito took him out like a coward, and says that he will finally get his revenge. He says that Carlito will learn that when you mess with the dragon, you will get burned.

Backstage, Jackie Redmond interviews The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn). Alba Fyre says they are still on the high of their championship win, which is everything they have worked for, but Isla Dawn says the celebration is over and the hard work starts now, and they will take out everyone who gets between them and their titles. "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler and Zoey Stark show up, and Shayna says that they had them beat not once, but twice, and Zoey says that they are keeping their titles warm and that they are coming for the titles.

Carlito beats Dragon Lee. During the match, Liv Morgan shows up wearing "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio's purple cow vest, and this time, Dominik sees her wearing the vest. Zelina Vega attacks Liv, and Rey Mysterio and Joaquin Wilde brawl with Dominik and JD McDonagh. This distracts Dragon Lee, and Carlito gets the win with the Backstabber in the corner.

We see backstage footage from Clash at the Castle where CM Punk is watching the World Heavyweight Championship match when he borrows a referee's shirt from Jessica Carr.

We see strange images as we see Drew McIntyre backstage.

Backstage, Chad Gable chews out the rest of Alpha Academy (Otis, Maxxine Dupri, Akira Tozawa) when Otis packs up and leaves. Otis says he is done, then Maxxine Dupri and Akira Tozawa leave with him. Gable says they are done when he says they are done, then he expels them all. Gable then promises that he will win Money In The Bank and cash in like Otis never did to become a world champion.

Drew McIntyre heads to the ring. McIntyre is hung up on CM Punk as he tries to figure out what to say, then says "I can't do this anymore. Screw this company. I quit." General Manager Adam Pearce shows up and tries to reason with him McIntyre as he heads to the back.

In backstage footage from during the break, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque tries to reason with Drew McIntyre, but Drew McIntyre says he is done.

Katana Chance and Kayden Carter beat Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai and Kairi Sane) after Lyra Valkyria shows up and distracts Damage CTRL.

Backstage, Iyo Sky once again tells Dakota Kai and Kairi Sane that Damage CTRL (Dakota, Iyo, Kairi) has to change or that she will change it herself.

Sami Zayn watches from ringside for the next match.

Sheamus beats Bron Breakker by disqualification after he is attacked from the outside by Ludwig Kaiser. After the match, Sheamus and Kaiser brawl on the outside, then Breakker hits Sheamus with a Spear. Officials have to get Breakker to head to the back. Afterwards, Kaiser goes back on the attack on Sheamus, then he backs up to the ramp and tries to injure Sheamus' leg on the ring apron only for Bron Breakker to head Kaiser off at the pass and Spear him. Sami Zayn then gets in Bron Breakker's face, and both men have to be kept separated by officials.

Backstage, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio finds Liv Morgan, who is wearing his purple cow vest. Liv says Dominik can have it back if he can take it off of her himself. When he does, he gets caught by Damian Priest, who tells him to get the vest and go to the clubhouse. Dominik gets his vest and leaves, then Priest tells Liv to leave Dominik alone, as he wants nothing to do with her. Liv laughs and says that Dominik has everything to do with her, then leaves.

We hear from Karrion Kross and Scarlett backstage. Kross mentions the feud going on between Authors of Pain (Akam and Rezar) and The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) and how The New Day beat him up two-on-one, then - thanks to Scarlett - proposes The New Day to a one-on-one match with no seconds at ringside. He then insinuates that Kofi will answer as he wants Woods in the back, anyway. We then hear from The New Day, who say that Karrion Kross has done nothing since becoming NXT Champion and is in no position to give them advice. Kofi then accepts the challenge, since Kross wants to namedrop him.

Backstage, we hear from "Main Event" Jey Uso, who is surrounded by fans as he says that he needs to qualify for the fans and cash in to become World Heavyweight Champion.

"Main Event" Jey Uso beats Finn Balor and Rey Mysterio in a Triple Threat Match to qualify for the men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match. Before the match, it is announced that Drew McIntyre has deleted all of his social media accounts. During the match, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh and Carlito attack Rey, but they get chased out through the crowd by Braun Strowman. Near the end of the match, Finn is able to hit Rey with the Coup de Grace, but Jey hits Finn with the Uso Splash afterwards to get the win and qualify. After the match, the lights go out little by little, Bray Wyatt style. A door opens, and a life-size Sister Abigail/Abby the Witch crawls out. She crawls towards a lit lantern, then stands and points backwards towards the door. Some security guards are laid out as a man in a rabbit mask - representing Ramblin' Rabbit - with a sledge hammer with the word "Help" on it is seen. The gorilla position is is ruins, and a figure in a buzzard skull mask - representing Mercy the Buzzard - sits nearby as people are laid out. Another person in a pig-shaped gas mask - representing Huskus the Pig - is seen, and Chad Gable is seen laid out. We then see Uncle Howdy, who looks at the carnage as the other masked beings join him. Uncle Howdy then makes his way towards the crowd, then picks up the lantern. We see Uncle Howdy with his minions before he says "We're here" and blows out the lantern. We then see one last image of Sister Abigail before the show ends.
