Final iMPACT! - iMPACT! recap for June 20, 2024

The System (Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers, Moose) and Dirty Dango head to the ring to start tonight's show. Alisha says the fans should be grateful for witnessing history, as The System is the most dominant force in professional wrestling. Eddie says The System is "the only true superteam" in professional wrestling after walking into Against All Odds with all their championships and walking out the exact same way. Myers asks the fans when they will understand as well as how many of their heroes they will have to beat up to figure out that they are the greatest faction in wrestling history, then introduces Dirty Dango, now known as "Johnny Dango Curtis," aka "JDC." Dango asks what one does when one is not booked, overlooked and underappreciated for three months, and says that one starts to question if they can do the thing they have done their entire life. Dango says he can still do it and that he is one of the best professional wrestlers in the ring and on the mic, and that everyone knows it, then talks about his history with the rest of The System. He admits that Moose is a little trepid about him, but tells Moose that he trusts in The System. Moose tells Dango that The System appreciates everything he has done, but he is not part of The System yet. Moose says The System is unbeatable and that he is unbeatable, as he has not lost a singles match in almost two years and there is not one soul in the locker room who could beat him. He says that it is so bad that outsiders are being brought in to take The System, but the outcome remains the same because they are the best group in professional wrestling. Suddenly, Director of Authority Santino Marella says that while Moose is in the middle of an impressive title reign, TNA still has plenty of top tier talent and he has come up with "The Road To Slammiversary." He announces that there will be five matches, and the winners of these matches will face Moose for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship in a six-way elimination match at Slammiversary. He also tells Dango that he has a match with Ryan Nemeth tonight, and announces that tonight's main event is "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander vs. Eric Young as part of "The Road to Slammiversary."

In a digital exclusive, Matt Hardy says The System (Eddie Edwards, Alisha Edwards, Brian Myers, Moose) does not understand what they did when they put their hands on Reby Sky and says nobody does that, then says that he had Moose until Alisha Edwards got involved. He then says that he is not alone, now that Reby Sky is here and Jeff Hardy is back, and they will create bedlam and take over TNA.

Steph tries to make small talk, even saying that she is glad to date a normal guy after dating a lot of weirdos, but all PCO does is grunt. Nevertheless, Steph understands PCO, who then drinks a black liquid before offering it to Steph, who also drinks. The waiter, who is in a lab coat and face mask, serves the wine, and PCO overfills Steph's glass. The dinner is some sort of black spaghetti, which PCO calls "The Stephanie Special." Steph takes a food selfie, then PCO eats nearly all the spaghetti before handing Steph some. Steph takes a food selfie, then PCO eats nearly all the spaghetti before handing Steph some. Steph has to teach PCO how to use a fork, and they almost kiss before Fir$t Cla$$ (AJ Francis and Rich Swann) interrupts. Fir$t Cla$$ take offense to PCO attacking them, then AJ Francis offers a toast to "eternal undead love" before comparing drinking cheap wine to being kicked in the head before throwing the wine at PCO so Swann can superkick PCO. Francis then shoves Steph to the side and Slams PCO, and Swann then cuffs to the middle rope with zipties. Steph slaps Francis, who responds by choke slamming Steph through the table.
