Jon Moxley shows up through the crowd to start tonight's show. He says it was around the time he was stabbed in the eye with a spike that it occurred to him that the fun and games with Chris Jericho were over, and now he faces Jericho for the AEW World Championship at Revolution. He says that Jericho is the final obstacle between himself and the top of the mountain in AEW, but it is not just a wrestling match for him; it is also about The Inner Circle being with him as well, as Jericho is the guy to orchestrate five-on-one gang-style beatdowns and hides behind his men as he tried to take his eyesight, injure "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes, maim "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes, steal Rey Mysterio's mask and even punch a woman. Moxley then admits he is far from perfect, as he is no hero, role model or saint, but he makes sure that he can look at himself in the mirror at the end of the day, as money and championship means nothing if he has no honor or a code to live by. He says he does not know what guy Jericho sees when he sees himself in the mirror, but he knows that he sees insecure egomaniac, a manipulator, a liar, a coward and a bully, and he hates bullies. He says that at Revolution, Jericho will have a target on his head, but he will not blink, flinch or hesitate as he takes the AEW World Championship from Jericho, for it is not about the kind of man Jericho is, but the kind of man he is not. He then says that will be if Jericho even makes to Revolution, as he will not the patience to watch his back for the rest of The Inner Circle. He decides they might as well get it over with now as he tells Jericho to take his beating like a man. Jericho shows up and says it makes him laugh when he hears Moxley talk about all he has done, and says that all Moxley has earned is a spike to the eye, as all he had to do was join The Inner Circle. Jericho then says he apologized to Moxley's mother for what happened to Moxley, then says it was all Moxley's fault, as he offered him "the keys to the kingdom" only to have a bottle smashed over his head. He tells Moxley that if he wants to challenge him for the AEW World Championship, despite not having what it takes to blink both eyes, Moxley will have to wait, as Cleveland, Ohio does not deserve to see him compete one-on-one. He then brings out the rest of The Inner Circle. Moxley tells Jericho that their plans of a five-on-one beatdown is really them against him and the fans, and he likes his odds. Jericho calls Moxley "a stupid son-of-a-bitch just like everyone from Ohio," and says Moxley is stupid enough to take them all one at once, and he decides to bring out some street punks courtesy of Santana and Ortiz. Jericho then says it is now a ten-on-one beatdown before walking down the ramp in a group. Moxley headbutts Ortiz and DDT's him, then charges at everyone else. Security and referees quickly move in to break up the brawl, and a member of security gets DDT'd on the floor before Moxley escapes through the crowd.
