Worlds Collide Las Vegas - The Results

Aida Cuevas performs the Himno Mexicano Nacional anthem to start tonight's show, then Lilian Garcia sings "The Star Spangled Banner."

We are introduced to the Spanish announce team of Jose Manuel Guillen, Marcelo Rodriguez and Roberto Figueroa.

Penta heads to the ring. He welcomes everyone to tonight's show and says that tonight will be a night for Mexican culture.

We are introduced to the English announce team of Corey Graves, Konnan and JBL.

Octagon Jr., Laredo Kid, La Parka and Mascarita Sagrada beat Lince Dorado, Abismo Negro and The Latino World Order (Joaquin Wilde and Cruz del Toro) in an eight-man tag match after Mascarita Sagrada pins Abismo Negro with a schoolkid pin.



Vero Rodriguez interviews Rey Mysterio. Rey looks forward to Worlds Collide in Las Vegas when "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio shows up and says he will be the first Mysterio to be Mega Champion and double champion, then demands that Rey shake his hand and put the title around his waist when he wins. Rey says he will do it if he wins and leaves, then Finn Balor shows up and tells Dominik to win the championship on his own in order to show how good he his.

Natalya beats Faby Apache in a AAA Reina de Reinas Championship #1 Contender's Match after countering a roll-up with one of her own. After the match, Faby and Natalya almost got at it again, and the referee has to keep them apart.



Backstage, Chuey Martinez interviews The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) and Grayson Waller. Kofi Kingston says they are here to win tag team gold, as AAA recognizes their talent. Xavier Woods says he is not medically cleared after Penta hitting him with multiple Mexican Destroyers. Grayson Waller says he is honored to wrestle alongside The New Day before having Chuey Martinez sign their petition to ban the Mexican Destroyer.

Psycho Clown and Pagano retain the AAA World Tag Team Championships against Kofi Kingston and Grayson Waller after Psycho Clown rips the face off of his mask and scares Xavier Woods all the way to the back. Vero Rodriguez interviews Psycho Clown and Pagano after the match, but all of a sudden, the lights go out and The Wyatt Sicks (Uncle Howdy, Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis, Nikki Cross) make their presence known. The Wyatt Sicks surround the ring and outnumber Pagano and Psycho Clown, and Dexter Lumis leg drops Pagano through a table before Erick Rowan powerbombs Psycho Clown through another. Uncle Howdy then hits Pagano with a Sister Abigail into a metal folding chair before The Wyatt Sicks hold up the WWE Tag Team Championships and AAA World Tag Team Championships.





Charlotte Flair is seen in the crowd.

Jacy Jayne is seen in the crowd.

Lola Vice and Mr. Iguana beat The Judgment Day (Finn Balor and Roxanne Perez) During the match, Mr. Iguana throws the bag containing Demonito under the ring. Later on, Demonito pops out from underneath the ring, and Finn Balor has to shove him back down. Later in the match, Finn Balor reintroduces the bag, but when Mr. Iguana takes him down and opens the bag, Demonito is not inside. He then finds out from La Yesca that Demonito is on Finn Balor's hand, and Finn Balor hits a Sling Blade. Finn Balor goes for his moves of doom, but Lola Vice thwarts the Coup de Grace, and this leads to La Yesca performing an assisted tope suicida with help from Mr. Iguana. Roxanne Perez tries to win while using the ropes for leverage after the distraction by Raquel Rodriguez, but Lola Vice kicks out and hits the spinning back fist for the win.



El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. retains the AAA Latin American Championship against JD McDonagh, Dragon Lee and "All Ego" Ethan Page after JD McDonagh's boot knocks Ethan Page out of the ring as El Hijo del Dr. Wagner Jr. hits the Wagner Driver.



Logan Paul is seen in the crowd.

"Dirty" Dominik Mysterio beats El Hijo del Vikingo to become the AAA Mega Champion! During the match, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh show up, and McDonagh hits Vikingo with a headbutt while Finn Balor distracts the referee. After this, McDonagh distracts the referee so that Dominik can don Rey Mysterio Sr.'s mask and potentially load it with a foreign object, but Vikingo stops Dominik. Dragon Lee shows up, but Finn Balor and JD McDoangh beat him up. Rey Mysterio then shows up with a metal folding chair and beats up both Finn Balor and McDonagh with Dragon Lee's help before he and Dragon Lee chase them to the back. Vikingo then hits the top rope 630 senton on Dominik, but El Grande Americano shows up and pulls the referee out of the ring, allowing Dominik to hit the 619 and the splash. Another referee runs into the ring, but Vikingo kicks out. Shortly after this, Vikingo is able to get his hands on El Grande Americano's mask, but El Grande Americano is able to pass the foreign object to Dominik to shove into his mask for the diving headbutt in Vikingo's failed attempt to unmask him. The headbutt connects, and Dominik hits the top rope splash to win the match at the title. After the match, Dominik angrily demands to Rey Mysterio to stay true to his word and put the title on him, which he does. Afterwards, Dominik tells Rey to leave the ring so that he can celebrate. The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, JD McDonagh, Roxanne Perez, Raquel Rodriguez) shows up to celebrate with Domink, but El Grande Americano also takes part in the proceedings as the show ends.

Worlds Collide - The LIVE Results

Rey Mysterio Jr. narrates the cold open for today's show.

AAA President Marisela Peña is seen in the ring. Deyra Barrera sings the Mexican national anthem ("Himno Nacional Mexicano" aka "Mexicanos, al grito de guerra"). Lilian Gracia sings the United States of America's national anthem ("The Star Spangled Banner") afterwards.

Rey Mysterio Jr. heads to the ring to speak to the crowd. He talks about the original event from 1994. Back then, he thought lucha libre would only be seen in Mexico, but he is proud to have been part of its evolution.



Liv Morgan and "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio are seen in the crowd.

Mr. Iguana, Aerostar and Octagon Jr. beat The Latino World Order (Dragon Lee and Cruz del Toro) and Lince Dorado in a trios match. After the match, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio takes the microphone and says that his father Rey Mysterio Jr. is a deadbeat and that he is a champion. Octagon Jr. confronts him, then Dominik shoves him only to be heaved over the barricade. Referees shows up to stop Dominik and Octagon Jr. from brawling, and Aerostar and Mr. Iguana have to step in. Dominik then tells Octagon Jr. he will see him at Money in the Bank later tonight, and he will put the Intercontinental Championship on the line.





We see a video package chronicling the founding and early years of AAA.

Lucha libre legends Mascarita Sagrada and Latin Lover, and hip-hop artist That Mexican OT are seen in the front row.

Backstage, Chuey Martinez interviews Legado del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Angel, Berto). Berto says that they are ready for war, and that they own lucha libre. Angel says they come from a legacy, and they are here to prove it. Escobar pulls out a WWE patch, and states that only they can represent lucha libre in WWE and that they own the lucha libre universe.

Iyo Sky and Tiffany Stratton are seen in the front row.

Stephanie Vaquer and Lola Vice beat Dalys and Chik Tormenta. After the match, Vero Rodriguez interviews Lola Vice and Stephanie Vaquer. Lola celebrates their victory tonight, and Vaquer says that she will become Miss Money in the Bank.



Backstage, Chuey Martinez interviews Chad Gable. Gable says Mexico is like a second home to him, and while the luchadores may have an issue with him, the fans love and embrace him because he embodies the spirit of lucha libre. He also says that they are embracing El Grande Americano, who will become Mr. Money in the Bank just like how he will be AAA Mega Champion.

Chavo Guerrero Jr., The Street Profits and Foos Gone Wild are seen in the crowd.

Legado del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Angel, Berto) beat Psycho Clown, Pagano and El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. in a trios match.

We see a video package for the original Worlds Collide event from 1994 and the impact that it had on lucha libre.

Backstage, Vero Rodriguez interviews El Hijo del Vikingo. He says he is more than ready to defend the AAA Mega Championship against Chad Gable, who he considers a great rival.

Damian Priest, Savio Vega and Blue Demon are seen in the crowd.

"All Ego" Ethan Page retains the NXT North American Championship against Laredo Kid, Je'Von Evans and Fenix in a Fatal 4-Way match after Je'Von hits Laredo Kid with a springboard cutter only for Ethan to toss Je'Von out of the ring and into Fenix before hitting Laredo with Twisted Grin to win and retain.

We see a short video package on the history of Triplémania, AAA's equivalent of WrestleMania.

El Hijo de Vikingo retains the AAA Mega Championship against Chad Gable despite being moonsaulted through a table and suffering a hurt knee from Gable's ankle lock near the end. After the match, the locker room celebrates with El Hijo del Vikingo to end the show.

Worlds Collide 2022 - The LIVE Results



Note: Due to technical issues, there is not much to the kick-off.

We hear from Toxic Attraction (Mandy Rose, Gigi Dolin, Jacy Jayne). Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne say that Nikki A.S.H. and Doudrop should not be competing for the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships, then say that they will take the titles back eventually. Mandy Rose says that she will unify the NXT and NXT UK Championships tonight and finally have respect on her name.

Carmelo Hayes retains the NXT North American Championship against Ricochet following attempted interference by Trick Williams, which allows Carmelo Hayes to roll away from a top rope Shooting Star Press and win with an inside cradle.





In footage earlier today, Roderick Strong is found bloodied and bruised, and is put on a stretcher and into an ambulance. Backstage, Julius Creed says that The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed) are coming to hunt, not to be hunted, and Damon Kemp says that tonight, they will unify the NXT and NXT UK Tag Team Championships because it is all about Diamond Mine tonight.



Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince) beats the team of Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen, Gallus (Mark Coffey and Wolfgang) and The Creed Brothers (Julius and Brutus Creed) to unify the NXT and NXT UK Championships in a Fatal 4-Way Elimination Tag Team Match. When Gallus is eliminated, security has to escort them to the back. Later on, Gallus is brawling with Brooks and Jensen again, this time on the stage, and as security tries to break the brawl up, the referee has to count a pinfall attempt outside of the ring, which leads to the referee being caught in the crossfire. Kit Wilson tries to hit Julius Creed with a chair, but Damon Kemp stops Kit Wilson. Damon Kemp then hits Julius Creed in the back with the chair and revives the ref, and Pretty Deadly get the victory.





Backstage, Tony D'Angelo and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo talk about the loss of Legado del Fantasma (Joaquin Wilde, Raul Mendoza, Elektra Lopez) from their ranks when Cameron Grimes walks by. D'Angelo gets Grimes' attention, and after claiming he fired Legado del Fantasma (he did not), tries to get Grimes to ally with them, telling him to hang with them and have some biscotti before saying to Grimes "Make me an offer." Grimes declines and walks away.

Mandy Rose beats Blair Davenport and Meiko Satomura in a Triple Threat Match to unify the NXT and NXT UK Women's Championships!

Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews Wes Lee. He says one cannot truly prepare for someone like JD McDonagh, saying McDonagh "shoots to wound" and like seeing the agony on people's faces as he goes into a darker place. Wes Lee says that he has had his own dark clouds and that the rain does not bother him, and that he is not afraid to go into the dark. He says that if McDonagh wants to get weird, they can get weird on Tuesday.



Katana Chance and Kayden Carter retain the NXT Women's Tag Team Championships against Doudrop and Nikki A.S.H. after Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne) run in. Nikki A.S.H. fights them, but Doudrop gets double-teamed in the ring as this goes on. Kayden and Katana retain after Jacy Jayne keeps Nikki A.S.H. from getting in the ring.



Backstage, The Dyad (Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid) meet up with Grayson Waller, who is not interested in joining The Schism (Joe Gacy, Fowler, Reid). Waller is then interviewed by McKenzie Mitchell, who says that his mother told him he brought down their family name after losing to Apollo Crews. Waller then says that his mother can kiss his ass, as he is elevating the family name and all he needs is himself to succeed.



Before the next match, Tyler Bate sees footage of the NXT UK Champions from the last six years - including himself - winning the championship on the way to the ring.

Bron Breakker beats Tyler Bate to unify the NXT and NXT UK Championships! After the match, Tyler Bate personally hands both championships to Bron Breakker in a show of sportsmanship.

Worlds Collide 2020 - The Results



Kay Lee Ray beats Mia Yim in the pre-show after countering a roll-up with one of her own and grabbing the ropes at the last second.



Finn Balor beats Ilja Dragunov.



Cathy Kelly stands between the team of Pete Dunne and Matt Riddle and Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake) at ringside. She announces that the winning team of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic will earn a shot at the NXT UK tag team titles at NXT TakeOver: Portland. Gibson says he is surprised Dunne and Riddle have made it this far, and while they are talented performers, they have nothing going for them as far as tag team wrestling goes. He says that the Dusty Cup will be a big boost for them. Riddle says he has a smile across his face - as does Dunne, who is unperturbed - upon hearing the news of a tag team title shot, and Dunne says that Riddle will smoke Grizzled Young Veterans as they walk out with the Dusty Cup.

Jordan Devlin beats Isaiah "Swerve" Scott, Travis Banks and Angel Garza in a Fatal 4-Way Match to become the NXT Cruiserweight Champion! After the match, Jordan Devlin says he has proved what he has said all along: that he is the best and to never bet against "The Ace."





Mia Yim and Keith Lee are seen in the front row; meanwhile, Chelsea Green and Robert Stone are seen taking seats in the front row.

#DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) beat Moustache Mountain (Tyler Bate and Trent Seven). Both teams show respect after the match.



Mercedes Martinez and Dakota Kai are seen in the front row in separate seats, and Dakota is attacked from behind by Tegan Nox. Security and referees have to hold both women back.



Bianca Belair is seen in the front row.

Rhea Ripley retains the NXT Women's Championship against Toni Storm. After the match, Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair have a staredown across ringside.



We see footage from backstage from moments ago where Johnny Gargano is attacked by Finn Balor during an interview. Officials and NXT UK Superstars keep Finn Balor away from Gargano.



Imperium (Walter, Fabian Aichner, Marcel Barthel, Alexander Wolfe) beat The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong). During the match, Wolfe is helped out of the ring and to the back by medical staff after being rocked by a double-team attack.

"Flash" Morgan Webster and Mark Andrews beat Ariya Daivari and Mike Kanellis.



Ligero beats Albert Hardie Jr. and Gran Metalik in a triple threat match. (Albert Hardie Jr. is perhaps best known as ACH in Ring of Honor and the independent circuit, and the match is his first televised one in WWE.)

Kassius Ohno beats Aiden English in English's first recorded match in eight months.



Harper beats Dominik Dijakovic in his first match in five months and since undergoing wrist surgery. After the match, both men shake hands.



The Undisputed Era (Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly) beat SAnitY (Alexander Wolfe and Killian Dain), then continue to attack Killian Dain until Eric Young fights them off.



Tyler Breeze beats Roderick Strong.
