Michael Cole interviews Kofi Kingston in the ring to start tonight's show. Kofi says he has learned he would have highs and lows through his career, and that he had to fight through all those lows to become WWE Champion, and says this would not have been possible without Big E and Xavier Woods. Kofi states that the three of them proved that the impossible could be made possible, and as the fans chant "You deserve it," Kofi says the emotions from WrestleMania are still vivid and that winning the WWE Championship was one of the greatest moments of his entire life. On the subject of Kevin Owens, Kofi says a lot of people told him he should have seen Owens' betrayal coming, and that those people could be right. He then blames himself for opening himself up to treachery. He says The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) believed that Kevin Owens wanted to change, but at the end of the day, Owens will be Owens, and if Owens wanted to challenge him for the WWE title, all he had to do was ask and he would have had no problem giving him that title match. He says that Owens said he was coming for the title, and he says that he will let him come for the title at Money In The Bank. As he states that he is not afraid of Owens or losing the WWE Championship, Owens shows up. Owens tells Kofi "Challenge accepted," and says that while Kofi gave everyone an unforgettable WrestleMania moment, moments are fleeting and none of the fans believe Kofi is championship material. Owens says he believes that even Kofi doesn't even think of himself as championship material, and as he tells Kofi that his head is barely above water and that he is slowly going in over his head, Owens is suddenly attacked by Xavier Woods, whom Owens quickly lays out.

Backstage, Kofi Kingston reminds Xavier Woods that his back is messed up, but Xavier tells Kofi he refuses to let Owens talk to Kofi like he does. Kofi asks Woods to take care of himself and tells him that he has the situation under control.

We hear from Aleister Black, who says that fear is a powerful, paralyzing tool and that is in man's nature to fear what it does not understand. He says his opponents try to figure him out, but by the time they do, the battle has turned in his favor, and any hope of conquering that fear has simply left the earth. As soon as his opponents take one look in his eyes, they do not like the abyss that stares back at them, for it reveals a truth that allows them to fade to black.

The Hardy Boyz (Jeff and Matt Hardy) shows up, and Jeff is seen walking to the ring on one crutch. In an in-ring interview with Kayla Braxton, it is revealed that Jeff was injured when he was attacked by Lars Sullivan. Jeff says he cannot walk on his own and will need surgery, and that he will be out for a long time. Matt says that as a result of this, they must give up the SmackDown tag team titles. Jeff says this is not the end of their journey, but when he comes back, The Hardy Boyz will reign supreme and go extreme. Suddenly, Lars shows up, and after Jeff leaves the ring, Matt faces Lars himself only to be quickly overpowered. Lars then focuses on Jeff, but Matt gets back in the ring and fights Lars again, but Lars is ready for it. Matt falls victim to the Freak Accident, and Jeff tries to fight Lars with his crutch when Lars is suddenly attacked with a steel chair from behind by R-Truth. He says it could have been anybody, but he wanted to get the point that he is "The Big Dog" across. He says that SmackDown Live is his yard now, then Shane McMahon shows up. After Shane demands a "proper" introduction for himself from Greg Hamilton - which he gets - he tells Roman that while this may be his yard, the McMahon family owns all the land. Roman tells Shane that his father owns the land, and when he was in the ring with Vince, he was on his feet while Vince was on his back. Shane reminds Roman that he was on his back in the end, but Roman reminds Shane he needed Elias' help and dares him to do it on his own. Shane declines, as he is getting ready for his steel cage match with The Miz. However, some people are lining up to welcome Roman to SmackDown Live, and he introduces two of them: The B-Team (Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel). Shane states that The B-Team want to make a great first impression, too, and Roman will be taking both Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel on in a 2-on-1 handicap match. Roman is unimpressed, and jokingly asks if Shane will add more caveats. Shane says the match should have a little extra, and introduces the "special guest ring enforcer" for the match: Elias, who shows up in a white-and-black striped tanktop.

Roman Reigns beats The B-Team (Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel) in a 2-on-1 handicap match despite the interference of special guest ring enforcer Elias, who pulls the referee out of the ring and tries to help The B-Team get the win only for all three men to be overpowered by Roman.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews the last two women's Money In The Bank ladder match participants: Ember Moon - who says that her career will change with this match - and Carmella, who says that the contract is hers after having won the match once before.

It's time for The Kevin Owens Show. Tonight's guest is Xavier Woods. After stating that the pageantry from the show is gone because it is something The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) would do, Owens states that he is the show and that is all he needs. He then states that he was trying to make a point earlier by saying that Kofi Kingston is in over his head and is drowning, and that help is on the way in the form of him relieving him of the burden that is the WWE Championship at Money In The Bank. After stating that he is positive he will take the WWE title from Kofi, Owens asks for Woods to show up, and when Woods fails to show, Owens produces a Xavier Woods action figure. As he talks to the action figure, Owens pulls out a Big E action figure with the left leg taped up before kicking down the chair he puts them on, then Kofi Kingston shows up. Kofi runs into the ring, and he and Owens brawl. Owens escapes through the crowd after raking Kofi in the eyes.

Total Miz Island - Miz and Mrs. recap for April 30, 2019

Mike and Maryse have a hilarious conversation in the car about a mystery stain on Maryse's shirt, which also includes an Instagram video of somebody going to the gym with "#FindTime."

Mike sets up a beer cooler for a night watching the game with some friends, and Mike proposes to Maryse that she should set up a day for herself.

Ryan Cabrera shows up at Castle Marmiz, and finds out he is sleeping on an air mattress in Monroe's room tonight.

As Ryan and Mike watch the game, Dolph Ziggler shows up. Mike, Dolph and Ryan almost wake Monroe as the Cleveland Browns win the game. The chains on the beer cooler come down electronically, and the three of them party with some beer while the three of them take turns on Marjo's paddle boat.

The next morning, the pool boy is cleaning the pool as the guys are asleep. Maryse wakes Mike - who now has a headache - up from the couch to tell him that she is doing her girl's day out today, leaving Mike with the baby. Dolph and Ryan wake up afterwards, and Maryse passes Monroe over to Mike. Maryse reminds Mike not to miss the class at 11:30.

Ryan and Dolph stay at home, but having the two of them trying to get over a hangover makes things harder (and more hilarious).

Maryse and Marjo meet Maryse's best friend Amanda, and Maryse talks about Mike's wild football party from last night. Meanwhile, Mike does his best to take care of Monroe, but he is having a hard time finding the wipes and getting to the class on time, the later of which he does not do. Mike has to lie about being on the class on time, and Maryse asks Mike to send her a photo of him and Monroe at the class.

Mike, Ryan and Dolph find out that they are at a music class for small children. Maryse tries to call Mike, but Mike does not answer, and Maryse has to relax as best she can. Mike answers, but Maryse falls off the table as she tries to get her phone when it vibrates. It is revealed that DirecTV is calling her, not Mike.

Mike does the best he can with his headache at the music class, but Monroe being happy makes it all worth it for him. Mike ends up calling it "the cure to all hangovers."

Amanda, Maryse and Marjo are at a restaurant when Maryse gets a call from Mike, who is back at home. Mike is happy that Maryse is having a good time with Amanda and Marjo. Maryse, Amanda and Marjo then have quite a bit of wine.

The next day at Castle Marmiz, Maryse is resting in bed after a long day for both her and Mike. Mike then starts pounding on a drum, much to the annoyance of Maryse, who now has a wine-induced headache much like Mike's from the other day.

She announces that Braun Strowman, Ricochet, Drew McIntyre and Baron Corbin will represent Raw in the men's Money In The Bank Ladder Match, and each man shows up as their names are announced. When Corbin shows up, he admits his list of accolades can be quite a mouthful, and says everyone will enjoy them when he becomes a two-time Money In The Bank winner. Ricochet proposes he also be called "a two-time loser." McIntyre says Ricochet has a point, especially after Corbin stole his victory last week and blew the opportunity given to him, and says he is sick and tired of outside forces screwing him out of a championship opportunity. As McIntyre says that the Money In The Bank ladder match will put the power back in his hands, he tells Ricochet to shut up and stick to high-flying or else he will drop him where he stands. Corbin says he will win the match, and McIntyre threatens to drop him where he stands. Corbin then starts talking again, but Strowman him to shut up and says that nobody has what it takes to stop him from winning. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) beat Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson). After the match, The Usos show some footage from earlier today where they videotape Dash Wilder shaving Scott Dawson's back. Dawson and Wilder soon show up and explain themselves, with Dawson saying they are men and that he cannot reach every hair on his back. Wilder says that Dawson has his back and that he has Dawson's, and this leads to The Usos making back-shaving jokes before Dawson and Wilder saying that they will come after them after their match tonight.

It's time for Miz TV. Tonight's guest is Bobby Lashley. After Miz states that he is rejuvenated after coming back to Raw and ready for new challenges and new guests, he brings out Lashley. Lashley states that he will only address the questions he wants to answer while referring to himself in the third person. After being told that some people think that he is not reaching his full potential, Lashley says he has been back for a year and already a two-time Intercontinental Champion before asking Miz what he has done lately. Miz says that the old him would have listed all of his accomplishments and that they would have been here all night, and says that he is an overachiever and did it all without a shred of Lashley's athletics. Lashley then brings up Miz's loss at WrestleMania and Shane McMahon punching Miz's father's face in the face, then says Miz's father thinks that Miz is worthless. Miz attacks Lashley, but Lashley immediately fights back. Miz ends up booting Lashley out of the ring and throwing chairs at him before daring him to go at it in the ring.

Bobby Lashley beats The Miz after Shane McMahon shows up and puts a picture of The Miz's dad on the TitanTron. After the match, Shane hits The Miz a few times, and when Miz fights back, Lashley pulls Miz off of Shane and hits him with a massive choke slam. Shane then proceeds to punch at a downed Miz before putting him in an arm breaker. Shane tells The Miz that it is a shame that he is unconscious and that he is the best in the world.

She insists that Natalya is given every opportunity, but Natalya says she has earned her opportunities. The next person announced for the match is Naomi, who says she plans to become Raw Women's Champion after winning the SmackDown title twice, and says that whoever faces her after she gets the title will "get all this glow." Alexa asks everyone to stop arguing for once, saying that the fourth woman is waiting and praying to be in the match. She then announces that the fourth woman is her. Not surprisingly, the other three women are not thrilled. Alexa tells the other women to leave so she can get all the attention, but Naomi proposes she and Alexa have a match as a preview of things to come. Alexa's not in the mood due to not being dressed for the match and the shoes she is wearing not being hers, but after Naomi says Alexa isn't as good as she says she is, Alexa says it's on.

Abby shows up and says that this is no time for games, and Rambling Rabbit leaves before Bray apologizes for what he did, saying it is all in the past. After Bray says that Abby is a bit of a sociopath, it is revealed that "sociopath" is the word of the day, then another edition of the Firefly Fun House comes to an end.

Naomi beats Alexa Bliss after Alexa's constantly untied shoes come off.

Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Rey Mysterio and Dominic. Rey states that it is not easy being him in a world of giants, even after letting everyone down at WrestleMania, but he always gets back up, and he is looking ahead to Samoa Joe.

Charly Caruso interviews Becky Lynch in the ring. Becky states that there is nothing impulsive what she is doing, and the way she sees it, she can either protect all that she has or she can fight all, and she only knows how to fight. She also admits she does not care about the odds after having beaten them in the past year and beating "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey in the past month, and while her career has been a long shot, nothing she has done is an accident. She proclaims that she will not hold both women's titles hostage as a double champion, as she made history by beating everybody, not dodging everybody. After that, she says that Charlotte Flair may have a pedigree, but she has her number, and while Lacey Evans has a mean right hand, she will have her beating coming at Money In The Bank. Becky also tells Lacey to come out to the ring so she can give her payback and remind her of who she is dealing with if she isn't too busy. Lacey Evans says it is just like a man to want when he wants it, and while she is trying not to lose her manners, she told Becky not to let her emotions get to her, but she did not listen and she is through talking. Becky and Lacey then brawl on the outside as referees and officials show up to separate both women.

Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder beat The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) after Dawson lies on top of Ryder for a pinfall attempt only for Ryder to turn it into a crucifix pin.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews The Miz, who says that Shane McMahon has made it personal between them before challenging Shane to a steel cage match at Money In The Bank.

We see the career and legacy of Jimmy Hart courtesy of Progressive.

Sami Zayn shows up. He says that the joy he is experience is not due to the trips he has been taking, but his soul-searching and rekindling of a love for various subjects that helped him make sense of a lot of the fans. The concept of psychological entitlement is then displayed on the TitanTron, and says that the fans have been fed the lie that "the customer is always right" for years and trained to believe that what they feel is correct and that what they want should be given to them. He then says that if the fans don't get what they want when and how they want it, they throw a fit. Sami then makes fun of a son and father to ask for an autograph at 4 AM in the airport, saying that the child has been taught that he is owed something. He then goes on to say that he owes nobody anything and that he has been more than generous after three shoulder surgeries and seventeen years of five-star classics, and from here on out, the fans get whatever he gives them. As for the people addressing him saying that he should quit if he doesn't like WWE, he admits that quitting would be amazing, but that coming out week after week holding everyone accountable for their actions and calling them out for them is better. He then says that it is high time that he takes the power back from "the critics."

Shane McMahon has accepted The Miz's challenge for a steel cage match at Money In The Bank via Twitter.

Before the next match, Samoa Joe says that Rey Mysterio's interview was touching, and while Rey's son Dominic says he loves him, he says that Dominic is ashamed of how quickly he put Rey to sleep at WrestleMania. He then says that is Rey was any kind of father, he would give Dominic a mask to hide his shame in public. Joe then says "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles used Rey to take away his Universal title opportunity, and tonight will be a reckoning. Joe goes on to say that what he did to Rey at WrestleMania will pale in comparison to what he does to him tonight.

Rey Mysterio beats Samoa Joe with a backslide pin.

Michael Cole moderates a contract signing between Seth Rollins and "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles for the WWE Universal Championship at Money In The Bank. Styles is introduced first, followed by Rollins. Styles says he came to Raw to build on his WWE legacy, and while SmackDown Live was good to him for two years, Raw is where the fans are at. He admits that he likes Rollins, but Rollins has something he wants: the Universal title. Styles says that when you want something, you go to great lengths, and that winners find a way and that Rollins is a winner. He then asks how many times it is said that Rollins will be "the next AJ Styles." After entertaining the question, Styles tells Rollins he will never be the new him, and Rollins tells Styles that he is right and that he never wanted to be "the next AJ Styles;" he wanted to be "the first Seth Rollins." Rollins then tells Styles that things are different on Raw and that this is his turf. Styles tells Rollins he knows what Rollins went through to get the Universal Championship, and asks what the cost was before asking Rollins how he is holding up as The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Rollins, Roman Reigns) is not there for him anymore., and that he will have to be better than phenomenal to take the Universal title from him at Money In The Bank. He then states that Rollins went through hell at WrestleMania and may not have much left while he is ready to go now, and at Money In The Bank, he will be the bulldog nipping at his heels and never letting go until he is Universal Champion. Styles then signs the contract, and Rollins says that while he and Styles have a lot in common, they have a lot of differences between them, and the one thing that separates them is that Rollins beat Brock Lesnar. He then tells Styles to ask Lesnar how he is holding up, for he was at his best when he beat Lesnar and he will be at his best when he beats Styles at Money In The Bank. He then signs the contract, then Styles looks at the Universal title. Michael Cole leaves the ring, then Styles hands the Universal Championship over to Rollins before extending his hand. Rollins responds by holding up the Universal title in front of Styles, who proceeds to beat Rollins up. Rollins fights back and boots Styles out of the ring before hitting him with a tope suicida. Styles hits an elbow from the apron, then puts Rollins through the table in the ring with a Phenomenal Forearm to end the show.

Total Miz Island - Miz and Mrs. recap for April 23, 2019

Much to the chagrin of Mike, more boxes full of things that Maryse has bought online make it into the house. Maryse and Marjo tells Mike that with a baby in the house and with Mike away from home all the time, it is much easier to buy everything online, but Mike reminds them that the grocery store is two miles away. Maryse proposes to go a whole month without buying anything online and letting Mike take care of everything. Also to Mike's chagrin, he has to recycle more cardboard.

At SmackDown Live in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, Mike is drafting his fantasy football team in order to connect with his friends, and the prize is a championship belt with Mike's dad George's face on it (and is affectionately named "The George").

Back at Castle Marmiz, Mike spends time with Monroe and Maryse when Marjo shows up. Miz and Maryse want Marjo - who has a fear of the water after something that happened at a public pool - to be able to swim in case Monroe wanders off and falls into the pool.

Mike prepares for the fantasy football draft, but Maryse wants him to go get diapers as soon as he gets ready. Mike tells Maryse that he will get everything and get the draft done. When Mike heads out, he gets a call from a neighbor and tells him he will not auto-draft this year. He then spends the time shopping, taking calls from Maryse - who is asking for more things - and drafting players for the fantasy football team all at once while dealing with spotty cellphone coverage at the Costco. Not surprisingly, some of Mike's draft picks end up becoming auto-drafts.

Mike makes it home with a few extra things, and Maryse gives him a hard time for not buying the exact brand of butt cream she asked for. Suddenly, Mike and Maryse notice that Marjo is in the pool on a pedal boat. Marjo says she has a pedal boat because she likes being on the water but does not like swimming.

Mike gets another call from his neighbor. This time around, he is waiting on the online delivery trucks to show up so he can intercept the packages when they are dropped off and pretend that he got everything from the store. During the wait, he makes some draft picks, but one of the delivery people rings the doorbell and Mike gets caught out by Maryse. Mike admits to Maryse that he had everything delivered, and Maryse - who makes it a priority for the both of them to be happy - makes it up to Mike with a ticket to Cleveland so he can go to the draft with his friends.

Mike makes it to Cleveland to meet his friends for the fantasy draft. Mike returns the favor for Maryse by buying her some new shoes. Mike's dad George shows up during the draft.

Bonus clip: Maryse calls fantasy football "cute," much to Mike's annoyance.

Sami Zayn shows up. He says that in the last few weeks, he has told the fans the truth about themselves and how they act and says that they have created a false narrative about him being a bitter person. Sami states that he is not bitter; he is a jubilant and happy person, and in the ten months he was away from WWE, he was having the happiest time of his life. We see Instagram pictures of Sami hiking in Switzerland, standing on fjords in Norway, relaxing on a beach in Mexico, and touring Scotland on the TitanTron, and Sami says that he was happy. When his return to WWE drew near, however, he started feeling unhappy and depressed, and he figured out that the fans were the reason why he did not look forward to it. Sami states that the fans have created a "toxic culture" that they have burdened everyone else but themselves with, and he holds the fans accountable for creating this "toxic culture." He then states that their toxic tribalism will not protect them from him and that he would rather be anywhere else but here, and says that if anyone has a problem with that, they should take a trip to Hell.

As she announces she is willing to face all comers and call out Alicia Fox, Lacey shows up. Lacey says she cannot understand why Becky Lynch allows her emotions to get the best of her, and chalks it up to Becky wanting to be the center of attention before telling her to stay in control, stop being a show-off and respect a lady with a Woman's Right. After Lacey proclaims that she will take both championships off Becky's waist, Becky calls Lacey "an absolute plank" who is getting on her last nerves and warns her not to confuse her happiness with contentment for she will dismantle her and go back to collecting on her debts.

After playing his guitar, he says he is happy that tonight is The Shield's (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) final chapter, as he will never have to see all three of them in the ring ever again and Dean Ambrose had the foresight to see that The Shield had no future in WWE. He wishes that Seth Rollins had the same sense, but he will continue to run Raw into the ground, and says that Roman Reigns will get what is coming to him on SmackDown. After telling Corey Graves to shut his mouth, Elias bashes the live Moline, Iowa crowd through song. After a few bars, Elias is interrupted by Finn Balor. After Finn makes his entrance, Elias demands that Finn's music be cut so that Finn can explain himself. Finn says he is one of Elias' biggest fans and wants to walk with Elias, and Elias offers him the opportunity to sing with him. Elias tries to get the fans to say they love him, but Finn Balor uses the song as an opportunity to turn the crowd against him. Elias gets a cheap shot, and the match is underway.

Finn Balor retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Elias with a La Magistral Cradle after Elias barely kicks out of a Sunset Flip roll-up. After the match, Elias gets back on his stool and says that both Finn Balor and the fans got lucky, and says he will finish the song he started. Unfortunately for him, he is interrupted immediately by The Riott Squad (Ruby Riott, Liv Morgan, Sarah Logan). The Riott Squad say that they admire Elias and ask him to play his music while they sing along. After offering to be "The Elias Squad," Elias likes the sound of that and believe they won't turn on him like Finn Balor did earlier. Unfortunately for Elias, The Riott Squad make the song about themselves, and nobody - not even Elias - likes their singing voices.

Before the next match, ring announcer Mike Rome re-introduces Baron Corbin with a list of his pre-WWE and WWE accolades and achievements. Afterwards, Corbin praises the re-introduction before proclaiming that The Shield's (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) final match will not have a storybook ending when they get the exact same privilege of losing to him as Kurt Angle did. Lashley says The Shield will not be riding into the sunset, and that they will be lucky to be allowed to limp out of the ring with an ounce of dignity following the beatdown they will give them. McIntyre tells the fans to show some respect and get their cameras ready, as they will bear witness to them writing history and becoming the new dominant force in WWE.

In what is advertised as their last match in WWE, The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns) beat Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin and Bobby Lashley following a three-man powerbomb to Lashley. After the match, the crowd chants "Thank you, Ambrose," and "Please don't go," then Rollins mentions that the hometown crowd knows him and his story as the culmination of the last fifteen years of his life. He thanks the fans and his friends and family for the support, and says that the WWE Universal Championship would not have been possible without The Shield's brotherhood. Seth says that he will always love The Shield, and that the Universal title win is for them. The crowd chants "Thank you, Shield," then Dean says it is no secret that Seth Rollins grew up in the area and that if you work until you get to the finish line, you can do whatever you want in life and that Seth is proof of that. The crowd chants "Thank you, Ambrose" one more time as The Shield goes for the traditional Shield fist bump.
