Raw Deal - Raw recap for April 15, 2019

Stephanie McMahon shows up to start tonight's show. She introduces Shane McMahon, who demands that ring announcer Mike Rome introduce him properly. He does it to his satisfaction, then Shane demands that he introduce him in French. Since Mike cannot speak French, Shane calls himself "best in the world" in French. He then says he said it in "proper Parisian french" and not the "dirty" Quebecois dialect. Stepanie then announces that every part of both Raw and SmackDown Live's rosters are subject to change, and Shane says that tag teams and group can potentially be broken up. After Stephanie says that everyone is on the road to next year's WrestleMania, she is about to introduce somebody when Shane stops her to show some stills of himself beating The Miz up. As Stephanie is about to introduce the first Superstar to switch brands, The Miz's music hits, and The Miz attacks Shane from behind. Shane retreats after The Miz attacks him with a steel chair.

The Shield's Final Chapter is this Sunday at 9:30 PM Eastern/6:30 PM Pacific on the WWE Network!

The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) and War Raiders (Hanson and Rowe) - who are now known as "The Viking Experience" with Hanson known as "Ivar" and Rowe being called "Erik" - beat Ricochet, Aleister Black, Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder. (The name change suffers extreme backlash almost immediately, and WWE compromises by changing the team's name to "Viking Raiders" two weeks later. Also not surprisingly, the video below gets downvoted to oblivion as soon as it goes public on YouTube.)

It is announced that Cedric Alexander is coming soon to Raw from 205 Live.

Before the next match, Zelina Vega re-introduces herself and Andrade for the Raw crowd, then says that Andrade has done some extraordinary things himself. Andrade then address Finn Balor in Spanish.

Andrade beats Finn Balor after Zelina Vega hits Finn Balor with a hurricanrana from the apron behind the referee's back.

Elias is in the ring. After playing The Undertaker's theme, he says that his music is so powerful that it brought back John Cena as The Doctor of Thuganomics and caused The Undertaker to return, and asks why the legends want to interrupt "this legend." He says that he will be ready for The Undertaker next time, then makes fun of the Montreal Canadiens failing to make the NHL playoffs before being nearly booed out of the building. He says that if anyone interrupts him this time, they will never show their face again, then says this will be the last time he performs on Raw. He is almost immediately interrupted by Rey Mysterio. Both Rey and Elias brawl, and Rey forces Elias to retreat. Suddenly, Lars Sullivan shows up, and Rey fights him off. Rey's speed is eventually overpowered by Lars' strength, and Lars hits Rey with the Freak Accident. Sullivan then plants Rey with a massive sit-out powerbomb.

Before the next match, Bobby Roode says there have been a few changes tonight, and that the only thing that won't change is that he and Gable can defeat any tag team when they are on their game. Gable says they are on their game tonight, and if anyone doubts that, the invitation is open. The invitation is answered by The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso).

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) beat Bobby Roode and Chad Gable.

It's time for A Moment Of Bliss. Tonight's guest is Sami Zayn. Alexa Bliss says that tonight may be her last night, and decides to give the Montreal, Quebec, Canada crowd a proper French farewell with the help of tonight's guest Sami Zayn. Sami Zayn shows up, and the hometown ovation is so strong that Sami's theme is replayed not once, but twice. After getting the crowd fired up a few more times, Sami says he has been in the city all week spending time with family and friends and taking everything in, and says that while the city is great, he can't stand the people. He says that the low point of his week is being here right now, and says that something in the air is "so Quebec." He also says he did not want to be here and do this segment, and says it is so funny because nine months ago, he would have looked forward to all this. Now, however, the cheers make him sick. This causes the crowd to chant for "Kevin Owens," and Sami says that makes him even sicker because the fans project their unaddressed issues onto him and he is not taking it. He says that Montreal crowd are not even fans, as they are too busy being critics and kingmakers. Alexa tells Sami that he is the problem, not the fans, and Sami says he no longer lives in Montreal, that he has left before and that he is leaving again right now. he then tells the fans "See you in Hell" and leaves.

We see footage from earlier today where Bayley is met by The IIconics (Billie Kay and Peyton Royce). Bayley is incensed by The IIconics' presence and challenges to a match in the ring with a partner other than Sasha Banks.

Bayley's tag team partner for the next match is revealed to be Naomi.

EC3 vs. Braun Strowman ends with Strowman choke slamming EC3 through a table.

It is announced that Eric Young is officially on Raw.

Becky Lynch beats Ruby Riott despite the interference by Liv Morgan and Sarah Logan.

Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley, Lio Rush and Drew McIntyre. McIntyre does not care who Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns' third man is; he just wants his hands on Roman. Corbin says the WrestleMania honeymoon is over, and tonight, Seth and Roman will be run off Raw. Lio Rush then says the real question now is who would be stupid enough to team with Seth and Roman.

Natalya enters the ring. She congratulates Becky Lynch on her victories for both tonight and at WrestleMania, then says she has helped take the dream of main eventing WrestleMania and make it a reality. After mentioning that Becky was the first to pin "Rowdy" Ronda Rousey and win both women's titles at the same time, she then proclaims that she is coming for the Raw women's title. Becky says she has spent years in the trenches with women who were overlooked like she was, and once she held both titles over her head, she knew those women would hunt her down. After mentioning that the both of them had to scratch and claw just to get a foot in the door of WWE, Becky gives Natalya credit for building the women's division from the ground up. Suddenly, Lacey Evans shows up. Lacey says she admires Natalya's determination, but says the Raw women's title should not be around the waist of a has-been. She tells Natalya and Becky Lynch to stop talking about a title match, as a lady knows how to curry favor and get what she wants. She announces that she is officially on Raw and that she wants the Raw women's title, and that she has the authority as per the McMahon Family to face Natalya to see who will face Becky for that title. She tells Becky to pay attention as she educates Natalya on a woman's right, as she could teach a man a thing or two.

Lacey Evans beats Natalya to face Becky Lynch for the WWE Raw Women's Championship.

Backstage, Charly Caruso interviews Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. After saying Charly will have to wait to see their third man, Rollins says life is good for them and will be the opposite for their opponents tonight. Rollins says that tonight may be their last night on Raw, but Roman says that if it is, they're going to make it a good one.

We see a vignette consisting of a dollhouse, dolls, stuffed animals and rocking chairs.

Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns' partner is revealed to be "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles.

Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns and "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles beat Drew McIntyre, Baron Corbin and Bobby Lashley.
