Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for April 27, 2019

Matt Taven shows up. He says that he has both earned and deserved the ROH World Championship, and says that in the last year, there has not been a man more deserving of being crowned the World Champion than him. He then tells the fans to think about working at McDonald's for a whole year and going unappreciated, and talks about what he had done in the past year before declaring that it all worked out in the end and that the memory of him will live on forever. He then says he can call himself the undisputed ROH World Champion, and if anyone wants a shot at him and the title, they will have to do what he did for the past year and earn it. Flip Gordon suddenly shows up and tells Taven he forgot about him and his winning the Sea of Honor Tournament, but Taven says there's a difference between winning a tournament where everyone else is too busy at the bar and winning the big one. Gordon says that he has talked with ROH officials and assured them that his knee is at 100%, and that they have made him the new #1 contender for the ROH World Championship, which means that his knee is going to kick 100% of Taven's ass.

"The Last Real Man" Silas Young beats Johnathan Gresham by referee stoppage after Silas hits Gresham with a ring bell hammer behind referee Todd Sinclair's back.

We hear from Kelly Klein, who says that The Allure (Angelina Love, Velvet Sky, "The Exotic Goddess" Mandy Leon) wants attention, but that the ROH Women of Honor World Championship is what is important to her. She says that if they want to get involved with her, she sees them and she assures that she will clean up the hot mess that they are.

We hear from Mark Haskins and "Hot Sauce" Tracy Robinson. Haskins says that he knows that Bully Ray left him laying and took out Tenille Dashwood, and that Bully Ray is a scared little boy. Williams says that they have unfinished business with The Kingdom (Matt Taven, TK O'Ryan, Vinny Marseglia), and after they lay them out, they will finish their business with Bully Ray.

The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe) beat Soberano Jr. and Caristico.
