He says that they have a bucket list and that the Crockett Cup is on it. Suddenly, The Briscoes show up and admit that while The Rock 'n Roll Express are legends, they are the baddest tag team on the planet, and they give them the option to forfeit the match and remain in one piece, or become forcefully retired. Morton responds by kicking Jay Brisco in the crotch.

During the match, Aldis inadvertently lays out referee Brian Hebner, and Kamile gets back into the ring to get revenge on Scurll for getting her eliminated from the match only to be turned back by Aldis. Both men show respect after the match, then Scurll talks about how he started his journey to fulfill his lifelong dream of becoming a professional wrestler fifteen years ago, and how the very first person he met in the business and lent his hand to him was Aldis. He thanks Aldis for making him the man that he is today, and says that tonight's match was "awesome. Scurll says that the fans' response to tonight's match shows how far they both have come, and while he admits this month could have been a little bit better for him, the better man won, and no other man deserves to be NWA World Heavyweight Champion more than Aldis. Aldis says that if anything was proven tonight, it is that Scurll is the biggest self-made star in the business today, and that the NWA's rebirth is coming to fruition and that NWA's name is carrying more and more weight, and that TNA is not going anywhere.
