Championship Gold - Championship Wrestling presented by CarShield recap for September 18, 2022

Dustin Daniels vs. El Primohenio Tribeca ends with Lord Crewe showing up and hitting both men with Earth Shatter. Afterwards, Halston Boddy says Lord Crewe is still undefeated and has not even been pinned once, and that he deserves all the ring time because there is not a soul who can stop him.

We hear from Johnny LoQuasto, who thanks the fans for their support during the Golden Opportunity Tournament when "Benevolent" Jack Banning shows up. Jack Banning says Danny Limelight may have won the tournament, but he does not remember getting pinned or tapping out, but he did what he set out to do: make his moments and leave a mark on the United Wrestling Network. Suddenly, Ju Dizz shows up and says he will leave a mark on Banning's face, then dares him to face him one-on-one without The Institution (Banning, Hunter Freeman, Brendan Divine, Honest John) after sticking their nose in his business. Jack Banning says they have no history and that he started this war, and that he had no reason not to accept his invitation into The Institution. Banning says he will only accept his challenge if he can beat the other members of The Institution first, and LoQuasto makes this challenge and stipulation official. Ju Dizz tells Banning to be ready to line them up so he can knock them down, and Banning simply laughs.

Honest John - now known as just "Honest" - beats "Mr. Attitude" James Grady.

Backstage, Jack Farmer interviews Howdy Price and Levi Shapiro. Howdy Price says that everyone is haunted by past choices and that it was not their time then and was not their time at Golden Opportunity, then asks what time is when one is timeless. Shapiro says he is back and has gone back to his winning ways, and that he will taste United gold in the near future.

"Timeless" Levi Shapiro beats Vinnie Massaro.

Backstage, Jack Farmer interviews The Midnight Heat ("Rockin'" Ricky Gibson and "Precious" Eddie Pearl) and Guy Tweakacetti. Gibson says it feels good to be back on top of the mountain again, and that Beef Candy (Richie Slade and Flex McCalleon) has made it easy for them to get back on top when Beef Candy shows up. Beef Candy shows up and confronts Midnight Heat, and Johnny LoQuasto steps in, stating that he is disgusted with how the title changed hands and that Beef Candy is obligated to a tag team title match before putting both teams in a tag team title match this week before telling both teams to "actually wrestle" and telling Guy Tweakacetti that security will be checking his pockets from here on out.

Lord Crewe quickly beats Jason Levi.

Backstage, we hear from Dom Kubrick, who calls out Lord Crewe and Halston Boddy, saying that he is coming for his revenge and that he will get it when they least expect it. He then zips up his hoodie and puts his hood up.

The Midnight Heat ("Rockin'" Ricky Gibson and "Precious" Eddie Pearl) retain the United World Tag Team Championships against Beef Candy (Richie Slade and Flex McCalleon) after Guy Tweakacetti grabs Richie Slade's ankles from the outside and sprays something into Slade's eyes.
