Victory Road 2022 - The Results

"Speedball" Mike Bailey retains the Impact Wrestling X Division Championship against Delirious in his ninth title defense.

Backstage, Honor No More meet. Maria Kanellis-Bennett says they are two weeks away from Bound For Glory, but tonight is Victory Road, the road to glory and the pathway to their biggest night. Kenny King says they have been building towards this moment, and says that while "Speedball" Mike Bailey is bound for glory, he is also bound to lose, as he will punch his ticket to a title match. Mike Bennett mentions their match against The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley), and Taven says that they had to find out on Twitter that there is a #1 contender's match for the Impact World Tag Team Championships and that Impact is trying to drags their names that they have been building for years down. He says that he is proud of what he has done as well as Honor No More, and that they will take Impact for everything that they own. Bennett says The Motor City Machine Guns may not make it to Bound For Glory if Vincent and PCO have their way, and when Eddie Edwards asks Vincent if he will get the job done, assuming Vincent and PCO have their way. Eddie tells PCO he defied and failed him, but Vincent stands between them, puts a bag over PCO's head, and tells him that while he cannot trust PCO, he can trust him. Vincent and PCO leave, then Eddie says the message is clear and that the message must be sent. He says he tried to get "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander to understand, but actions speak louder than words and their message will be heard loud and clear, for the victor go the spoils.

The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) beat Honor No More (PCO and Vincent).

Mickie James beats "The Quintessential Diva" Gisele Shaw.

Frankie Kazarian beats Laredo Kid, Alex Zayne, Mia Yim, Yuya Uemura, Trey Miguel, Black Taurus and Kenny King to face "Speedball" Mike Bailey for the Impact Wrestling X Division Championship at Bound For Glory.

Backstage, Decay (Rosemary, Taya Valkyrie, Jessicka) ask Gail Kim for their rematch for the Impact Wrestling Knockouts Tag Team Championships, and Gail Kim tells them it will happen at Bound For Glory, then Taya proposes that Jessicka replace Rosemary in the match. VXT ("The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo and Chelsea Green) show up and says that losers will lose and that regardless of who Decay brings, VXT will leave everyone vexxed. As soon as Chelsea Green pokes Taya on the forehead, Jessicka shoves them into a nearby metal cabinet after telling them that they crossed a line by touching Taya.

Bobby Fish - now gone from All Elite Wrestling after his contract expired - makes a surprise appearance. Fish jokes that the heat has been heat on him recently and that he has turned into a bit of a lightning rod for controversy, which surprises him as he has never considered himself a problem or a controversial guy and just a guy who does his job well. He says that after more than twenty years, he is "not here for the bullshit," and says that Impact Wrestling cannot fire him for saying "bullshit" because he does not work here. Nevertheless, he has kept an eye on the locker room, as he has never been afraid to call somebody out for being "less than legit," then says the locker room is "full of legit dudes" that he knows will step between the ropes and give everything they have got and are not here "faking the funk." Bobby Fish says he is here to pick a fight, then Raj Singh and Shera show up. Raj Singh tells Bobby Fish he cannot just walk in and talk the trash that he has been talking, but Fish tells him that he just did. Singh and Shera get in the ring before Singh tells Fish that Shera is legit and will gladly rip your head off, and all Fish has to do is tell him when so he can slot him into "that slap schedule." Fish asks Singh if he is supposed to know who he is, then asks who Shera is. Singh calls Fish arrogant and a punk before shoving him, then Fish fends off Singh and Shera with ease before putting Singh in the fish hook. Shera has to pull Singh out of the ring, then Fish says that for the record, he does not know who they are and does need both of his shoes on - after losing one of his shoes in the brawl - to chew them up.

Honor No More (Eddie Edwards, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett) beats Rich Swann, Heath and "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander in a six-man tag match, and Eddie becomes the first man to pin Alexander in nearly a year.

Backstage, Mickie James meets with Mia Yim and says she is impressed for hanging with the X Division. She says that she has wanted women to be treated as equals, and Mia Yim did way more than that. Mia says that would not be possible without women like Mickie, and says that Mickie is making history right now. Mickie says she wants to face the best of the best and asks Mia Yim to wrestle her at Bound For Glory Mia accepts.

Jordynne Grace beats Maxx the Impaler in a Pick Your Poison Match. After the match, Jordynne admits Masha Slamovich picked a hard opponent, then says Pick Your Poison goes both ways. She says she did not have to search for long for an opponent for Masha and happens to be friends with someone who loves violence and wants to fight Masha under one condition. Jodynne announces that Masha is going to get demolished by Allie Katch in a Monster's Ball Match.

It is announced that Raven will be inducted into the Impact Wrestling Hall of Fame at Bound For Glory.

Backstge, Gia Miller interviews Moose. Moose says this may be his first Barbed Wire Massacre match, but he has been in every extreme match Impact Wrestling has to offer and that he has the advantage here.

Steve Maclin beats Sami Callihan and Moose in a Barbed Wire Massacre.
