After Dark - AEW Dark recap for September 20, 2022

The Dark Order (Alex Reynolds and John Silver) beat Zuka and Alexander Moss.

Emi Saukra beats Avery Breaux.

The Trustbusters (Ari Daivari, Slim J, Parker Boudreaux) beat Marcus Kross, Mike Magnum and GKM in a trios match.

Anthony Ogogo beats Luke Kurtis by knockout. After the match, Ogogo talks about how he was born with the umbilical cord around his neck and how he had to fight his entire life to be come a twelve-time British champion and an Olympic Champion, and how he won an Olympic medal as his mother lied in a coma. Ogogo says he could have done anything or gone anywhere after boxing, but he came to AEW because it is "where the big boys play." He then asks why he has been fighting "indie bum after indie bum" for the last 14 months before saying he could do things that could shame the devil when the bell rings and that 95% of the big boys do not want to take him on. He tells "the big boys" to face him in the ring before he goes somewhere else.

"The Reality" Zack Clayton beats Vary Morales. Near the end of the match, Clayton argues with a fan wearing a shamrock Chicago Bulls jersey, who dares him to pull him over the barricade and beat him up. After the match, Tony Schiavone interviews Zack Clayton, who says that tonight was just a dose of reality and that the business has needed a kick in the ass for some time. He says it takes more than a fan favorite to move the needle, and that it takes a star to do so. He says the fans will never have any clue of what it is like to be a star, as none of them will even amount to anything close to what he is. Clayton then says that he is just getting started.

"The Problem" Marina Shafir beats La Rosa Negra by submission.

Madison Rayne beats Viva Van. After the match, Tony Schiavone interviews Madison Rayne, who says that her plate is very full in the best way possible and that she worked her whole career to be in this ring at this moment with All Elite Wrestling. She has proved from day one that she is not afraid of a challenge, and whether as a wrestler or coach, she is here to teach the women's division and turn it upside-down.

KiLynn King beats Saraha Seven.

"The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese and "The Technical Beast" Josh Woods beat Baliyan Akki and Ryan Matthews.

Sonny Kiss beats Joe Ocasio after Slim J distracts referee Aubrey Edwards.

Matt Sydal beats JD Drake. After the match, Anthony Henry attacks Sydal, and JD Drake joins in.
