They're On A Rampage - Rampage recap for September 16, 2022

Darby Allin beats Matt Hardy with The Last Supper. After the match, the lights go out, and when they come back on, Matt Hardy is surrounded by Brody King and Julia Hart. Brody King floors Matt with a clothesline, then calls out Darby and Sting. Darby Allin returns with Sting, and Brody King tells them that this is not over, saying that there is plenty of venom in the veins after the head of the snake was cut off, and he challenges them to a no-disqualification tag team match next week. He demands that Darby and Sting accept as he chokes out Matt Hardy, then the lights go out and Brody and Julia disappear.

We hear from Eddie Kingston, who says that he does not respect Sammy Guevara because he sees nothing but "a rotten, horrible human being," and says he will "beat the piss out of" Sammy next week.

Tony Schiavone interviews Claudio Castagnoli in the ring. Claudio says that the Ring of Honor World Championship represents honor and that The Blackpool Combat Club is the new symbol of excellence. He says that The Blackpool Combat Club is a team and a family and that they help each other, and while Wheeler Yuta lost the ROH Pure Championship to Daniel Garcia, lessons are learned from loss and Wheeler will win it back. Claudio says he had a tough opponent in Dax Harwood, then says that The Blackpool Combat Club is having a good week and that Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley will face each other for the AEW World Championship and the club will have two world titles. Chris Jericho interrupts, saying The Jericho Appreciation Society is a symbol of excellence, then has to be reminded by Claudio that he tapped out to Danielson. Jericho says that while he has been world champion in WWE and AEW, he has never been world champion in Ring of Honor. He challenges Claudio for the Ring of Honor World Championship next week on Dynamite. Claudio says he has waited a long time for this moment, and accepts the challenge before telling Jericho he will beat the hell out of him.

Backstage, Lexi Nair interviews The Baddies (Jade Cargill, Kiera Hogan, Leila Grey). Kiera Hogan says all the winning is getting boring, and Leila Grey asks who is left. Jade says that nobody is left and that she had to get rid of "that PR clown" Stokely Hathaway. Diamante shows up and tells Jade that if she wanted a challenge, all she had to do is ask, then tells her she is pulling up next week and is coming with "the baddest OG bitch from the 305."

Penelope Ford beats Willow Nightingale with the Muta Lock.

Backstage, Lexi Nair interviews "Hangman" Adam Page and The Dark Order. Page apologizes for costing them the Trios titles, but they understand it was an accident and that they are all in next week's battle royal together. Rush and Jose the Asisstant show up and call Adam Page a failure, then try to recruit Preston "10" Vance again before Rush says he will eliminate The Dark Order.

"All Ego" Ethan Page quickly beats Danhausen.

We hear from "Absolute" Ricky Starks, who says the talking is over and that Powerhouse Hobbs has his full attention. He tells Hobbs to think about all the people he ever loved in his life before facing him again, and tells him he will see him next week.

Backstage, Mark Henry interviews Josh Woods and Samoa Joe. Woods says that he was influenced by Samoa Joe, and that Joe will get a fighting champion out of him. "Smart" Mark Sterling says that Woods will send Joe on an extended vacation. Joe says that he and Woods will have a clear and concise understanding of who the champion is, then threatens to beat up "Smart" Mark Sterling.

Samoa Joe retains the Ring of Honor World Television Championship against Josh Woods. After the match, Woods and "The Premiere Athlete" Tony Nese attack Joe, then Wardlow shows up. Joe grabs "Smart" Mark Sterling by the ankle so that Wardlow can powerbomb Sterling, but Tony Nese is able to drag Sterling out of the ring. Joe and Wardlow then have a brief staredown before lifting up their championships.
