Generation NXT 2.0 - NXT 2.0 recap for September 6, 2022

Tyler Bate heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Tyler thanks the fans from the bottom of his heart for the support through the last six years as well as Bron Breakker, who he says proved to the world that he is "breaker" by both name and nature. He says that as much as he wanted to unify the NXT and NXT UK Championships, the two of them made magic and he is happy to have shared that magic with the fans. Tyler says that his name will be in the history books forever as the first and last NXT UK Champion, and he hopes that he represented NXT UK to the very best of his abilities. Gallus (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang) shows up with security behind them, and all three members tell Tyler Bate that he should be apologizing for letting a whole locker room, the UK and Europe down, saying he should be a unified champion as they ask what happened to "The Big Strong Boy." Tyler reminds Gallus that they did not hold up their end of the bargain and asks what happened to "Gallus Boys On Top," and Joe Coffey tells Tyler Bate to remember who he is speaking to, as there is three of Gallus and one of Tyler. Joe Coffey starts a brawl with Tyler, and security cannot do anything as Tyler Bate is ganged up on. Bron Breakker suddenly shows up and powers through Gallus. Joe Coffey gets the Bob and Bang before Tyler and Breakker stand tall. Breakker tells Gallus that they have caused nothing but trouble since they got here, then says that while worlds have collided, they have also unified. Breakker says he will stand with Tyler and kick Gallus' asses.

Backstage, Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince) look at the NXT and NXT UK Tag Team Championship belts and think they are the greatest tag in NXT history. Lash Legend shows up to celebrate with Pretty Deadly. Lash Legend then tells Pretty Deadly that people are making nasty tweets about them and saying that Damon Kemp is getting more attention than them.

In a digital exclusive from after Worlds Collide, Meiko Satomura says that she is disappointed after her loss, she is happy with what she has done in NXT UK. Cora Jade shows up and challenges Meiko Satomura to a match on Tuesday, but Satomura declines, saying she has a match with "a very respectful Roxanne Perez." Cora Jade is livid.

Nikki A.S.H. and Doudrop beat Toxic Attraction (Gigi Dolin and Jacy Jayne).

We hear from Apollo Crews, who says the true test of a man's character is in defeat, not victory, and that he sees who he is truly dealing with in Grayson Waller. He says that after the second eye poke, he says that Grayson Waller tried to blind him on purpose. He says that Grayson Waller has blurred his vision, but as he looks towards the camera to reveal a badly reddened left eye, he says he is not afraid of the unknown.

JD McDonagh beats Wes Lee.

Backstage, Tony D'Angelo and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo have cappuccinos when Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince) show up. They congratulate Pretty Deadly on their championship victory, then invite them for cappuccinos. When Tony D'Angelo asks Pretty Deadly how much it costs and mentions that Pretty Deadly paid Damon Kemp to turn on Diamond Mine, Kit Wilson nearly chokes on the cappuccino and says they won on their own.

Meiko Satomura beats Roxanne Perez. After the match, Cora Jade hits Roxanne Perez with her Kendo stick, but gets out of the ring when Satomura gets in. Satomura then raises Roxanne Perez's hand.

Backstage, Bron Breakker and Tyler Bate talk. Tyler thanks Bron Breakker for earlier, and Breakker tells Tyler that while NXT UK has ended and NXT Europe is around the corner, "you are NXT."

We hear from Damon Kemp, who says that he was not allowed to do anything or have any success in Diamond Mine, and says he beat Julius Creed in college and that Brutus Creed was jealous of him because Roderick Strong liked him more than he liked Brutus. He says that he decided to stir the pot and destroy Diamond Mine from within when he was not allowed the same success as in college, even mentioning that Ivy Nile had more of a say than he did, then brags about now he was not suspected in Roderick Strong's attack and how he could not keep a straight face. He says that he is forever, not Diamond Mine.

Backstage, Rip Fowler and Jagger Reid are approached by Kiana James and her assistant, who take one of their happy face pins only to throw it in the trash, as Kiana says she does not do free sponsorships. Suddenly, Kiana spots Arianna Grace, who has a busy schedule of her own. Realizing that they both have common enemies in Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons, the two of them get together for a training session at six o'clock.

Carmelo Hayes guests on commentary for the next match.

Ricochet beats Trick Williams with a Shooting Star Press after telling Carmelo Hayes he has his eyes on him.

Backstage, Tony D'Angelo and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo get Cameron Grimes' attention, but Cameron Grimes tells him "the answer is no," as he does not need anybody. D'Angelo says he gave Grimes the benefit of the doubt and warns him that the last two guys who said no are not here anymore. Grimes says he is not like those guys, and Lorenzo says it is because the last two guys were respected. Grimes throws the expresso given to him at Lorenzo to start a brawl, but he gets overpowered and put through a table.

We see a vignette for Sol Ruca, who is coming soon to NXT.

Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews Diamond Mine. Brutus Creed says he wants to break Damon Kemp's face and says Damon Kemp is brave in an empty studio, and the next time he sees him, it is on sight. Julius Creed says that this is fuel for the fire and that they will correct what happened on Sunday, then Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince) show up and announce that the stipulation for their tag team title rematch will be picked by the fans. Julius Creed says he will take the rage inside of him out on them.

Axiom beats Nathan Frazer in the first match of their best-of-three series.

Backstage, Javier Bernal heads towards Gallus' (Joe Coffey, Mark Coffey, Wolfgang) locker room and makes fun of security. Hank Walker stops Bernal from going any further, but Javier Bernal says he is a big superstar while Hank Walker is just a security guard. Hank tells Bernal that he can whip his ass any day of the week before calling Bernal a prick to his face, then Gallus leave their dressing room. Hank escorts them to the ring with the rest of security.

We see a vignette for "The Super Diva" Quincy Elliott on his scooter. Quincy Elliott debuts on NXT next week.

Backstage, McKenzie Mitchell interviews Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams. Trick admits he may have lost, but a broken clock is right at least twice a day. Carmelo says that Ricochet does not have what he has - the North American Championship - and when mentioned that he has a fan-picked mystery opponent with the title on the line next week, Carmelo says he is the one who picks the opponent, not the fans.

Tyler Bate and Bron Breakker beat Gallus (Joe and Mark Coffey). After the match, JD McDonagh takes out both Tyler Bate and Bron Breakker, but flees through the crowd after Bron Breakker gets up and confronts him.

Here are the top ten moments from tonight's show!
