Throwback Throwdown 4 - Impact Provincial Wrestling Federation recap for November 30, 2023

Giuseppi Scovelli Jr. (Josh Mathews) and "Professor" Ignatius Quiqley (Alex Shelley) are on commentary tonight.

Rapid Delivery Pete (Rich Swann) beats Kamikazi. (During the match, "Professor" Ignatius Quigley (Alex Shelley) states that tonight's episode takes place in 1985.)

We see a video package of Giuseppe Scovelli Sr. (Scott D'Amore) creating the Fall Maul tournament - while coming up with wrestling fighting martial artists in a concept he calls "mixed martial arts" - as well as Colonel Corn (John E. Bravo) and Boris Alexiev's (Santino Marella) interview before the finals, with Alexiev saying that "if [Tim Burr] ("The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander) dies, he dies."

George The Iceman (George The Iceman) interviews Impact Provincial Wrestling Federation Commonwealth Television Champion DJ 2Large (Moose) on the stage. DJ 2Large says he feels good after beating Badlands Bart (Larry D) for the gold, as he now has some gold to match all the other gold he is wearing. He says Bart had tricks up his sleeves, but nothing he had not seen before, and now, he is champion. He then states that he is welcome all challengers and he is ready to knock them all down. Iceman then mentions The $361,000 Man (R.D. Evans, formerly known as "The $309,000 Man") wanting his title, but DJ 2Large does not care how much he is worth, he will wrap his big hands around his scrawny neck and squeeze the soul out of him. The $361,000 Man soon shows up and says that "everyone has a dollar amount" and that he is now worth $369,000 and is now "The $369,000 Man." He then asks how much money it will take to buy the television title from him. The $369,000 Man thinks Moose is trying to drive a hard bargain, and offers to exchange the television title for "a life-changing $10,000," which he says will be the best deal of his life. Moose answers with a rap, and tells The $369,000 Man "no." The $369,000 Man says he has never taken no for an answer, then says that he will take the title with the help of his newest acquisition: The Masked Brother (Frankie Kazarian), who attacks DJ 2Large from behind. This starts a brawl that referees have to break up, and DJ 2Large asks if the crowd wants to see him face The Masked Brothers tonight, which the crowd makes clear that they want.

We hear from Walter Chestnut (David Penzer) and Neptune (Shera). Chestnut says his girlfriend left him and his wife left him, then he lost his wrestling promotion at Rival Survival due to Giuseppe Scovelli, Sr. He says that he and Neptune are here to terrorize the IPWF by getting a job and making a living, and tonight, Neptune will go one-on-one with Frank The Butcher (Rhino), a wrestler of Scovelli Sr.'s choosing, with their jobs on the line. We hear from Giuseppe Scovelli Sr. and Frank The Butcher. Scovelli says Chestnut will walk out with a job, but Frank asks which job it will be when he makes mincemeat out of Neptune.

We see footage from last week of Red Letter (Jody Threat) beating Ladybird Johnson (Jessicka/Havok) with an inside cradle. George The Iceman then interviews Red Letter, who says that this is just the beginning and that she will deliver rain or shine, and says they might as well call her "Rapid Delivery Red Letter." Rapid Delivery Pete shows up and takes offense to this, then leaves.

Frank The Butcher (Rhino) beats Neptune (Shera). After the match, Giuseppe Scovelli, Sr. makes Walter Chestnut and Neptune janitors.

The Hard Workers - "Hard" Harry Hall (Jake Something) and "Ornery" Otis Oates (Deaner), formerly known as "Hall and Oates" - are next!

Before the next match, Editor-In-Chief (Chris Sabin) says that tomorrow's headline will read "The Sunday Morning Express Gets Hard...Challenge Put In Front Of Them, Which They Overcome By Defeating The Hard Workers ["Hard" Harry Hall (Jake Something) and "Ornery" Otis Oates (Deaner)]," for they always get the scoop.

Backstage, Tommy Dreamer talks with Red Letter after pooping in Rip Rayzor's bag after Razyor's treatment backstage. He then finds out that the bag really belongs to Brian "Bone" Crunchin (Brian Myers), who then vomits while Dick Waters (Sheldon Jean) somehow walks in on the situation and gets spewed on himself. Walter Chestnut and Neptune have to clean up the vomit.

"Cowboy" Colt McCoy (Eddie Edwards) and "Rough Rider" Georgia Cobb (Jordynne Grace) beat Rip Rayzor ("Inevitable" Ace Austin) and Rusty Iron (Gia Miller) after Rip Rayzor threatens the referee with a knife and Georgia Cobb slaps Rayzor in the face.

We hear from The Masked Brother, who says he has wrestled all over the world and does not do the job for anybody, and that he wants the champion.

We see an advertisement for IPWF Dishonorable Discharge, which was banned from American airwaves and is now available on VHS and Betamax.

We see footage where Quincy Cosmos (Rohit Raju) cheats to win with Bill Ding's (Trey Miguel) hammer to make himself and Bill Ding #1 contenders for the IPWF tag team titles.

The Masked Brother (Frankie Kazarian) beats DJ 2Large (Moose) to become the Impact Provincial Wrestling Federation Commonwealth Television Champion! Before the match, The Masked Brother is caught with two foreign objects, and shortly afterwards, The $369,000 Man (R.D. Evans) is ejected from ringside after being caught putting The Masked Brother's foot on the tope to break a pinfall. Near the end, The Masked Brother hits the ref with a knee in the corner after 2Large nearly runs into the ref thanks to him, and that allows The $369,000 Man to return and brings out two masked henchmen named Bump and Feed (Aiden Prince and Tyler Tirva) - as Walter Chestnut (David Penzer) and Neptune (Shera) clean up around The Masked Brother - to distract 2Large before The Masked Brother hits 2Large with a cellphone.

George The Iceman interviews Tim Burr on the stage. Tim Burr says that Fall Maul tournament has gotten out of hand following the passing of Muscles McGhee ("The Machine" Brian Cage) after Boris Alexiev killed him, and that he would be lying if he said he were not scared, and while Boris Alexiev is his biggest obstacle, he has chopped his past obstacles down. He says he will not let Alexiev take over without a fight, and that Alexiev will be the only one who will be laying down when all is said and done.

He talks about how he got a poster in his mailbox for TNA Wrestling and saw a lot of wrestling that he had never seen before, and most importantly, Samoa Joe. He says that while Joe looked unconventional, he did not care, for he was "the baddest man walking on God's green earth." MJF admits that Joe's talents were not recognized to the point of becoming a world champion in WWE, but Joe proved that one does not have to look like a world-class bodybuilder to be a top man in the sport and that alternatives matter. He says that without Joe, there would be no MJF and no AEW, and he thanks Joe for making both happen. MJF then says that while he is grateful for the road Joe has paved, he is not too shabby himself, for he has helped to build a new alternative in AEW brick by brick by defeating some of the biggest names in the industry. He then says that out of all of the big names he has faced, the luckiest that he has managed to survive against is Samoa Joe. MJF then says Worlds End is not about Joe's legacy, but his own, and he must outlast the final boss of the sport one more time. He then promises to everyone at home and everyone in the arena that regardless of his condition or what Joe does to him, he will show the world that it is about the size of the fight in the dog, and if Joe wants to take what is his, he will have to put him down. After MJF breaks his cane over his knee, the lights go out and spotlights frantically fly around the ring, and men clad in black suddenly gang up on MJF before the lights come back on. Joe shows up and forces the men to flee. We then see a message asking if Joe and MJF will face the unknown in a tag team match and asks MJF is he is a hero. After some waiting, Copeland shows up, and Christian hides behind the security detail. Christian says the security detail was not his idea and that security is not needed, then asks the security detail to vacate the ring, which security does. He then says that the two of them are not going to make it to next week regarding Copeland's challenge for the TNT Championship because he is sorry not for being on an island of his own, especially after what happened to Killswitch. Christian states that after what happened to Killswitch, he went on the road and into a state of reflection as to why he became who he is now and it reminded him of his and Copeland's time treasure trying to make it in professional wrestling. He says that when they did make it, they became the greatest tag team that ever lived and two of the greatest careers in the history of the sport, and that when the wrestling is taken out of the equation, their relationship goes even deeper. Christian then goes into Copeland growing up with a single father and no father figure, which led to them become brothers and Christian's father becoming Copeland's father, to the point that they became family. As Copeland turns his back, Christian tries to hit him with the TNT Championship, but Copeland turns around and kicks Christian in the groin before telling him to shine the title up real nice because it is coming home to him. He also tells Christian "Go fuck yourself."

As some fans sing Rollins' theme, others chant "CM Punk," and Rollins says he does not want to waste one more second on "that hypocrite" before addressing the World Heavyweight Championship. He admits that while he is not feeling too well, he is starting to get the itch to be a fighting champion again. Rollins says he met with General Manager Adam Pearce regarding the next challenger when Drew McIntyre shows up. McIntyre says it has been a crazy 48 hours and that people are talking about a lot of things, but they know that what happens in the ring is the most important before congratulating Rollins on the victory at WarGames and shaking his hand. He talks about how The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Damian Priest, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh) had a master plan that led to him not getting Jey Uso and The Judgment Day losing, then says he has to focus on the World Heavyweight Championship. McIntyre tells Rollins that he was right in terms of having nobody to blame but himself for losing at Crown Jewel and that he would thank him for it, and admits that sympathy and compassion were what cost him the title. He says that to swim with shark, he has to be the biggest shark, and that sympathy and compassion have to be gone. Punk then says that he is home, and that he has come back to WWE and he had no idea how he would go, but WWE is where he belongs and he has been gone for 10 years, and in that time, nobody forgot him even when he wanted to forget himself. He says that the fans never stopped chanting his name and that the voiceless found their voice, and that is why he is back. Punk admits that he wishes he did not have to leave, but once upon a time, a wise man told him that to get the best out of WWE, he had to leave and come back, and the wise man was right. He says that Saturday and tonight is an amazing moment, and that is has been nothing but love and hugs and that "AJ is fabulous, and she sends her regards." Punk admits that while he has been welcomed back with open arms, some people are afraid of him and the truth, and that while there are those who compete to be the best in the world, the best has not been here for ten years. He says that people are afraid that he has set too high a bar and put the brass ring in his pocket, and that tomorrow morning, when they wake up, they will have to come to terms that their attempts to be the best were a lie. Punk says that he is back and in the ring, live and in living color. CM Punk then looks into the camera and says that he is not here to make friends; he is here to make money.

He calls Dragon Lee the next chapter in the same old story, and while he has spirit, spirit does not win fights. Backstage, Piper Niven, Chelsea Green, Akira Tozawa, Maxxine Dupri and Otis are met by Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince). Pretty Deadly and Otis argue over whether to call them chips or crisps until they all get tossed to the floor. R-Truth - who has not been seen on WWE programming in a year - suddenly shows up and says they are Ruffles in an attempt to stop the arguing. Akira Tozawa then dances.

Backstage, Sami Zayn tells "Main Event" Jey Uso that Randy Orton is still not here. Jey blames himself for Orton not showing up, but Sami reminds them that they both have history and that he will have his back no matter what.

During the match, Rhea Ripley shows up with the Money In The Bank briefcase to help Priest cash in on Rollins, but the cash-in is thwarted by the sudden entrance of Randy Orton. At the end of the show, CM Punk suddenly makes a surprise return to WWE after almost ten years.

Collision Course - Collision recap for November 25, 2023

Claudio Castagnoli beats Daniel Garcia in the Blue League of the Continental Classic and earns three points. Wheeler Yuta comes out and celebrates with Claudio after the match.

We hear from Eddie Kingston, who says that all he ever wanted to do is wrestled in Japan, and now that he has done that and won a championship, he has put that championship along with the Ring of Honor World Championship to ensure the Continental Classic is the most prestigious tournament in America. He says that Brody King is not a small man, and that he must get ready to fight him.

Luchasaurus - now officially known as Killswitch - beats The Boys (Brandon and Brent Tate) in a two-on-one handicap match. After the match, Killswitch pulls two chairs out from underneath the ring, unfolds one and chokeslams one of The Boys onto it before grabbing the other Boy. Suddenly, Adam Copeland shows up from behind Killswitch and hits him repeatedly with a chair, then pulls the bottom bar from the chair and puts him in a crossface with it. Copeland then goes for and hits the Con-Chair-To on Killswitch. Somehow, Killswitch tries to pull himself up afterwards, and Copeland responds with a curb stomp onto a chair before hitting another Con-Chair-To.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Adam Copeland. Copeland shows up and tells Lexy Nair to leave, then looks straight at the camera and addresses Christian Cage, saying that everything that has happened to Killswitch and "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne is all on Christian and his insecurities, as Christian thought that everyone would compare him to Copeland as soon as Copeland arrived and would become second fiddle again. Copeland says he could care less about that and that their friendship is more important than anything else, and yet Christian could not get past his own ego. He says that Christian was about to Con-Chair-To Sting the night he showed up, and last Wednesday, Christian almost hit a Con-Chair-To on Shayna Wayne. He also mentions Christian mentioning Beth Phoenix as well as his two children and reminds Christian that he has a short fuse, and that he would not let Christian light it until Christian made it clear that he would break his neck. Copeland then says that Christian is not only threatening him and his furutre, but also his children's futures, and now he is hunting Christian. Copeland says he already has two heads on his wall, and he tells Christian to ask Nick Wayne and Killswitch what happens when he snaps, for he will change his soul and kick his face in, and when Christian closes his eyes, he will picture him and the pain he will bring into his world. He then says he will take the TNT Championship, which is secondary to him, because it is the most important thing in his world, and on Dynamite on December 6th in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, he will go places that Christian will never go because he does not have the dog in him while he takes Christian's title.

The House of Black (Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews) beat Komander and Gravity after Buddy Matthews curb stomps Komander as Komander is being taunted by Malakai Black.

Backstage, we hear from Action Andretti and Darius Martin. Andretti says he and Darius have teamed up for eight months and that they have created a bond together, and next week, Dynamite will be in Darius' hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota. Darius admits they have been creating some chemistry, but something seems off, and he knos what that might be. Dante Martin shows up and fist bumps both Andretti and Darius, then says it is time to take flight, because he is back.

Julia Hart retains the AEW TBS Championship against Lady Frost. Under House Rules, there are no countouts in this match.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Don Callis and Powerhouse Hobbs. Callis says he cannot understand how Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega have a shot at the tag team titles when he broke both of them and sent them to the hospital. He says that he does not need two men to beat them and that Hobbs alone can do it. Hobbs says he is big, Black and jacked, and anyone can get it.

FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) beat The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch). After the match, The House of Black (Malakai Black and Buddy Matthews) show up and tells FTR that nobody is coming to save them - not even CM Punk - and that AEW is not the brotherhood that FTR thinks it is. The lights then go out, and when they come back on, The House of Black are nowhere to be seen.

Action Andretti and Dante Martin's promo announcing Darius Martin's return from Rampage is replayed due to TNT going to commercial earlier than expected.

Tony Schiavone interviews "Absolute" Ricky Starks and Big Bill in the ring. Starks says he expected more of a fight from Chris Jericho, and he knows that the "clout vampire" that is Chris Jericho will try to come back around and bite his neck, but it will not happen. Big Bill says "The Golden Jets" are more like "The Golden Girls" when it comes to Jericho and Kenny Omega, and Starks says that while he and Big Bill barely know each other, he knows that Jericho and Omega are not built like Big Bill. Big Bill goes on to say that four years ago, while he was going in and out of emergency rooms due to seizures from alcohol withdrawal, when he could not get out of bed while in the lowest point of his life, and when everyone counted him out and stopped believing in him, he always knew he would make it back to the top, and standing with Starks with the AEW World Tag Team Championship, he made it back to the top. He says that he and Starks know all about Jericho and Omega and know that they are two of the best to ever do this, but he does not think they realize who they are dealing with, as he and Starks are angry, motivated and ready to embarrass them. After comparing himself and Starks to legendary NBA basketball duos, he does not see any of the legendary Chicago Bulls players in Jericho or Omega; instead, he just sees "the dudes that hand Michael Jordan his Bazooka Joe bubble gum before starting line-ups are introduced." Starks says one tells everyone they are the best while the other is, and when all is said and done, he likes his gum minty fresh while Big Bill loves Big Red.

We see a video package for the participants in the Gold League of the Continental Classic, who are all in action next week on Dynamite.

Keith Lee beats "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Keith Lee. Lee says he planned to talk about how good and talented Lee Moriarty is, and while he is good, he is no Keith Lee. He then says he is tired of the misrepresentation, mistreatment and lack of opportunity given to him, and that he will take it, and by "it," he means "him." He says that he knows who it is and that he knows what he wants.

Brody King beats Eddie Kingston in the Blue League of the Continental Classic and scores three points.

They're On A Rampage - Rampage recap for November 25, 2023

Hook beats Rocky "Azucar" Romero with the Redrum.

We see a video package for Wheeler Yuta vs. Katsuyori Shibata for the Ring of Honor Pure Championship. Wheeler says nobody like him, unlike the other members of The Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli, Jon Moxley, "The American Dragon" Bryan Danielson). He says he has lost a lot of sleep since Katsuyori beat him for the Pure Championship, but now he is more than a pure wrestler; he is an asshole and he will beat him into the ground. He plans to send Shibata back to Japan in worse shape than he came in and he will make sure he never comes back for the Pure Championship.

Kris Statlander beats Diamante. Mercedes Martinez shows up during the match. After the match, Mercedes and Diamante gang up on Kris Statlander, but Willow Nightingale runs in and makes the save for Statlander.

In footage from earlier today, we hear from Daniel Garcia, who says it was nice not to get in an airplane today and drive to tonight's arena, and while every match has felt like the biggest match of his life, he is coming off three losses coming into the Continental Championship while everyone else is on a winning streak. He wishes that his confidence was higher coming into it, and he wants to prove that he is not a loser who is in the tournament to eat pins.

Before the next match, Mike Bennett says Action Andretti tried to kill Roderick Strong, and says that while a lesser man would not survive, Roderick Strong is "a damn hero" and not a lesser man as he proved that heroes sometimes wear neck braces. Matt Taven says that they will "neck the halls" for the holiday season and start a neck-strong new year before stating that MJF is the devil and would say something stupid if he were here right now, then says that MJF has a fradulent title on his shoulder in the form of the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championships and that he and Bennett are coming back for what is theirs.

The Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett) beat The Mane Event (Duke Davis and Ganon Jones).

Wheeler Yuta beats Katsuyori Shibata in a Pure Rules Match to win the Ring of Honor Pure Championship for a third time after shoving Shibata into the referee and hitting him with a low blow prior to the Seatbelt pin. After the match, Wheeler extends his hand to Shibata before kicking him in the groin and planting him with a DDT. Hook shows up, and Wheeler Yuta leaves the ring before Hook checks on Shibata.

Suddenly, Dustin Starr and Terrence Ward find out the truck is parked in the back. Tim Grind and Lance head to the parking lot and find the truck, but there is nobody inside. All of a sudden, a man clad in all-black and a motorcycle helmet shows up near the ring, and Tim Grind and Lance return demand to know who he is. As Tim Grind threatens to remove their helmet for them if they do not do it themselves, a second man dressed similarly to the driver shows up and attacks Tim Grind and Lance from behind with a lead pipe. The two men remove their helmets to reveal that they are Gio Savage and Draco, who then go on the attack and lay Tim Grind and Flex out.

Van Viciouss beats "The Regulator" Terry Wayne with a Camel Clutch. After the match, Dustin Starr interviews "Hollywood" Jimmy Blaylock and brings up the petition to ban Blaylock from Memphis Wrestling. Dustin Starr interviews Prince Nana at the announce desk after Nana dances around the ring with the fans and with Dustin. Prince Nana says it is great to be here when Barnabas the Producer shows up and introduces himself. He says today is no ordinary day and that today is the world premiere of his brand new hit single, which plays as a man in a chicken suit dances around. The dancing chicken suit is the "Rappin' Rubber Chicken," and Barnabas proposes that he and Prince Nana collaborate. Prince Nana wants nothing to do with Barnabas and tells Barnabas that Swerve Strickland will not work with him.

Becky says it has been a while, then says that she has come around to SmackDown and that she agreed to team with everyone because the answer will always be yes when it comes to getting a piece of Damage CTRL (Bayley, Iyo Sky, Dakota Kai, Kairi Sane, Asuka) at WarGames. Bianca says they have a solid team, then says that Damage CTRL has gone low for quite some time, but with two rings, one cage, no disqualifications and plenty of weapons, they are not only going lower, they are going to war. Shotzi, who looks forward to the carnage, says Damage CTRL sought to humiliate her but only made her more dangerous and unbreakable, and she cannot wait to unleash her frenzy of madness on them. Charlotte says WarGames is not only a new beginning for the four of them, but the end of Damage CTRL, who show up as if on cue. Only Bayley shows up, however, and says she never thought she would be Charlotte and Becky on the same side "fighting the good fight" and knows that they will take shots at each other due to their egos. She also says that being a mom has made Becky soft and "okay with being picked last," then calls Damage CTRL the only real time walking into WarGames. Charlotte wants to know where the rest of Damage CTRL is, then Becky says she came to Chicago to fight, not to talk, and challenges Damage CTRL to a match with her and Charlotte tonight. Bayley says this is what she wanted, then says that Becky and Charlotte's team will implode tonight.

Backstage, Bayley tells the rest of Damage CTRL (Iyo Sky, Dakota Kai, Kairi Sane, Asuka) that Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair's team will implode and cease to co-exist tonight, then asks who will be in tonight's match with Becky and Charlotte tonight. Everyone agrees that Bayley should be in the match with Asuka.

Charlotte Flair shows up and says that she got with General Manager Nick Aldis and made Bayley's challenge official. Becky is confused by this, as Charlotte did not consult her first and asks Charlotte why she called her when she does not trust her, but Bianca tells Becky that she made that call, not Charlotte. Becky says she does not want to fight everybody, then says she is getting ready.

We hear from Dragon Lee, who says that lucha libre has been everything to himself and his family and that if one is not strong in heart and mind, one will not find success. He says failure was not an option, and he adapted, learned and refused to stay down. He says he represents his family before him as the evolution of lucha libre.

It's time for The Grayson Waller Effect. Tonight's guest is the returning Kevin Owens, who is really Austin Theory in a Kevin Owens tanktop making fun of Owens. After Theory makes it to the ring, the real Kevin Owens shows up and says his suspension ended today, and after realizing they are making fun of him, threatens to punch them both again. Grayson says there are two of them and one of Owens, and says if it were not for Owens, he would have beaten LA Knight. Owens hints that if you keep mentioning someone's name, they are bound to show up, then LA Knight shows up when Theory mentions him. LA Knight says Grayson and Theory stepped in it tonight, and that they could not help themselves tonight only to get caught, and while he was going to let Owens punch them, they kept mentioning him, and they got caught again. He says Kevin Owens and Austin Theory make no difference in Grayson Waller losing to him, saying it is just a fact of life. Grayson says he can beat Knight, but Owens agrees with Knight. This leads to a brawl, and Owens and Knight clean house.

Kevin Owens and LA Knight beat Grayson Waller and Austin Theory.

Backstage, Becky Lynch is met by Bianca Belair, who tells her that Charlotte Flair was right and was not trying to step on her toes, then tells Becky to put her differences with Charlotte aside. She also says that she needs them to be on the same page for WarGames. Becky says she is cool.

Carlito heads to the ring. Carlito says that tomorrow will be his first match in a premium live event since 2010, but all he has been able to think about is Rey Mysterio and getting his hands on Santos Escobar for injuring Rey. Carlito issues a message to Escobar, telling him that he made a big mistake before Escobar shows up. Escobar tells Carlito that Rey Mysterio is his family, not Carlito's, and if it were not for Carlito, his family would still be together, and blames him for Rey's career being over. Escobar and Carlito brawl on the outside, and officials have to run out and stop it. Escobar heads to the back, but he returns through the crowd and attacks him on the outside.

Backstage, Santos Escobar attacks Carlito again, but Dragon Lee shows up and attacks Escobar before Escobar can break Carlito's arm.

Pretty Deadly (Kit Wilson and Elton Prince) beat The Brawling Brutes (Ridge Holland and Butch) with a schoolkid pin from Wilson to Butch following the Bitter End on Prince after Ridge walks out on Butch during the match.

Backstage, Shotzi talks with Charlotte Flair, thanking her for helping her when she was at her lowest due to Damage CTRL (Bayley, Iyo Sky, Dakota Kai) shaving her head. She says that Becky is just as hurt by the past as she was and that a few words could change things like it did for her.

Dominik Mysterio laughs at the fact that Jey Uso took out Randy Orton for more than two years, and JD McDonagh says that Jey Uso's team is better off staying at home. Priest says he cannot help but agree, and says that if Jey does not take Orton out, The Judgment Day will make sure Orton does not have another comeback.

Before the next match, Charlotte Flair is met by Becky Lynch, and both of them tell each other that they are on the same page.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interivews "Smart" Mark Sterling and "The Premier Athlete" Tony Nese. Nese would rather "All Ego" Ethan Page explain his actions and says he planned things out because Ethan knows he cannot beat him. Sterling says the match with Serpentico is thrown out, and states that the match with Ethan Page did not happen because he was thrown out, and that he has a manager's license to make sure everything goes smoothly. He says that Nese lost the second that he was ejected, then proclaims that it is not over between Nese and Ethan even though Nese proved he is the better athlete.

Swerve Strickland beats Jay Lethal in the Gold League of the Continental Classic and earns three points. MJF brags about beating "Switchblade" Jay White on one leg and proclaims that while Jay White is one of the best in the world, nobody is on his level. He then declares that none of this would be possible without Adam Cole, who says it is great to be back in Chicago and still be tag team champions with MJF with a little help from Samoa Joe. Adam Cole admits his ankle is still in bad shape and that he is not close to walking normally again, then says he will work hard to get back to what he does best at 100% before showing concern for MJF due to everyone gunning for him. MJF says not to worry about him and that he will send the person wearing his devil mask to a hell that will feel like heaven. Suddenly, The Devil appears on the video screen, then Samoa Joe shows up. Samoa Joe says there is too much concern in the ring for a time of celebration and mocks Adam Cole for not being able to help MJF, then says he is here to make sure honorable men honor their deals. MJF tells Samoa Joe to step back since his breath "smells like a skunk's asshole," then says he has thought about their deal and tells Samoa Joe "Blow me." Adam Cole quickly begs off Joe and warns MJF of how dangerous Joe is, then tells MJF to be a man of his word. MJF says he has no problem making Joe the other Ring of Honor legend he beats in Chicago twice, then makes the championship rematch for right here and right now. Joe declines, saying MJF will complain about how he was not 100% tonight. Joe says he wants the best MJF he can get and makes the match for Worlds End. MJF questions Joe for wanting him in Long Island, New York before telling him he has a deal. Both men shake hands, then MJF warns him that wrestling him in Long Island is not a wise idea before saying that the way Joe looks these days, he does not have many options.
