Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interivews Kali Armstrong. Armstrong says he been watching Brinley Reece for a while, and while Briney brings the acrobatics, she brings he pseed and aggression. Amstrong talks about her track and field career, and says that while she is new to professional wrestling, she had to wrestle with seven siblings growing up, and she hopes Brinley Reece is ready.

Backstage, Shiloh Hill is met by Cutler James as he prepares to face Mark Coffey. Cutler tells Shiloh he has what it takes to do it, but tells him to play defense, as Mark Coffey is a serious competitor. Shiloh says he has figured things out by watchin Cutler, and Cutler says that next time, he will get the job done against Mark Coffey. Shiloh says that if his time in Stanford has taught him anything, it is that he can match his physicality, and if he brings out the aggression early, the odds are on him.
Mark Briscoe beats Shiloh Hill after knocking one of his teeth out with a right forearm.
