Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for September 5, 2024

Rocky "Azucar" Romero beats Aaron Solo.

We hear from Lady Frost, who says that her last match was too easy and that Red Velvet has something she wants: the ROH Women's World Television Championship. She says she has been winning championships and tournaments all over the world and plans to add another in Ring of Honor, and that there will be no love lost.

"Big Shotty" Lee Johnson beats Nick Comoroto. After the match, "The Judge" EJ Nduka shows up and hits Comoroto with a spinebuster, then celebrates wtih Lee Johnson.

Backstage, Paul Wight interviews Anthony Henry and Beef. Henry says it is not "The Workhorsemen" without JD Drake, then walks off, much to Beef's disappointment.

Before the next match, Jacked Jameson mocks both the crowd and tonight's opponents.

Red Velvet beats Lady Frost in an ROH World Women's Television Championship Proving Grounds Match following a series of pinfall attempts.

Backstage, Melissa Santos interviews Taya Valkyrie. Taya says her problem is with Mina Shirakawa, as she has been here week after week and Mina can dip in and out to go back to Japan like it is summer camp, and if she wants this to be a vacation, she can make it as miserable as possible. Mina shows up and dares Taya to say whatever she has to say to her face. Taya says "no," and Mina says that while everyone wants her, Taya does not.

Lance Archer and The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch) beat Lights, Camera, Faction (Action Braxton, Fresco, Watson).

Diamanté beats Tiara James. After the match, Diamanté continues to attack Tiara James, then Red Velvet runs in and fights Diamanté, who slides out of the ring.

Backstage, Melissa Santos interviews "Big Shotty" Lee Johnson, who says that he was attacked by two cowards but had to look no further than someone who was not just a friend, but a judge. "The Judge" EJ Nduka introduces himself, and says that attacks that cowards are not happening on his watch and will end today.

Griff Garrison beats "Cool Hand" Angelo Parker after Maria Kanellis-Bennett tosses a a boot to Garrison in full view of the ref, which allows her to hit Parker with her other boot behind the referee's back and net Garrison the win.

Before the next match, "Smart" Mark Sterling says that the fans love The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari) and they thought the Texas residency would be great, but it has been terrible because of the fans. He says that they will win as fast as possible and get on a plane out of Texas as quickly as possible to get away from the fans.

The Premiere Athletes (Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari) beat Joe Alonzo Jr. and Josiah Jean.

John Silver beats Fuego del Sol despite a big boot from Evil Uno after the attempted distraction by Alex Reynolds.
