Grand Slam - Collision recap for September 28, 2024

Before the next match, Harley Cameron adds one more rule to the Saraya's Rules Match: the match does not start until "Saraya slaps the slag." Saraya slaps Jamie Hayter after Hayer shoves Harley away.

Jamie Hayter beats Saraya in a Saraya's Rules Match.

We see another snippet of Renee Paquette's face-to-face sit down with Ricochet and Will Ospreay.

The Learning Tree ("The Learning Tree" Chris Jericho, "The Redwood" Big Bill, "The Bad Apple" Bryan Keith) beat The Conglomeration (Orange Cassidy, Mark Briscoe, Kyle O'Reilly) in a Tornado Trios Match after Big Bill choke slams Mark Briscoe through a table that Mark was about to put Jericho through with a Froggy 'Bow. After the match, The Learning Tree leaves the ring as Rocky "Azucar" Romero runs in to check on Mark Briscoe and Chris Jericho wants a shot at the ROH World Championship.

Brody King beats Action Andretti. After the match, Lance Archer and The Righteous attack Top Flight and Lio Rush from behind, and referees and officials show up to restore order after Andretti makes the save.

We see "Scapegoat" Jack Perry driving around New York City until he reaches Arthur Ashe Stadium. He then heads to the ring for the next match. It is revealed that "Scapegoat" Jack Perry's opponent for his TNT Championship open challenge is Minoru Suzuki.

"Scapegoat" Jack Perry retains the TNT Championship against Minoru Suzuki in an open challenge after knocking Suzuki off the ring apron with a running knee and knocking his head into the ring post with a second running knee. After the match, Perry continues to attack Suzuki until "The Wrestler" Katsuyori Shibata runs into the ring to make the save.

Before the next match, Wheeler Yuta shows up after Claudio Castagnoli and PAC.

The Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta, PAC) retain the AEW World Trios Championships against Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy) and Komander after Kassidy slaps Yuta - who is a conscientious observer up until then, refusing to take part in the match until that point - and Yuta retains by beating the crap out Kassidy.

We see another vignette for The Outrunners (Truth Magnum and Turbo Floyd), who are seen having fun at Coney Island.

Hologram beats Dralistico and The Beast Mortos in a three-way match. After the match, Dralistico and The Beast Mortos argue, and Rush shows up and stands between them to play peacemaker. Hologram attacks Mortos, and that earns him a beating from all three men, who then celebrate.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Kris Statlander, who says that she is not insecurity and knows who she is and what she does. She says she picks and calls her shots, and that the women's division should be thanking her for forcing them to either get better or get destroyed.

MxM Collection (Mansoor and Mason Madden) heads to the ring. A person stands on a podium covered in a black mantle in the center of the ring. Mansoor asks the crowd if they are ready for the conclusion of New York Fashion Week, then MxM Collection introduce themselves before declaring that they took "Platinum" Max Caster's jacket because it was ugly and emblazoned with the lie that he is "The Best Wrestler Alive." The two of them start a New York fashion walk where their male models carry masks of Mansoor and Madden to cover their faces while showing off the hottest new fashions. MxM Collection then remove the black mantle covering the person standing on the podium in the center of the ring, and this male model, whose name is Hans and is also wearing a Madden mask, is wearing Max Caster's now-altered jacket, which reads "Best Dressed Alive." Mansoor says he loves the jacket, then says he speaks for everyone when he tells Hans to take it off. Hans takes off the jacket to reveal how jacked he is. Mansoor declares Hans perfect for MxM Collection, then asks him to "touch their tips." Hans raises his finger, then grabs their fingers, unmasks and reveals himself to be "Daddy Ass" Billy Gunn. The other male models ambush Daddy Ass, then The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) show up to make the save. One of the male models eats a gourdbuster from Max Caster, who reclaims the jacket.

"Hangman" Adam Page beats Jeff Jarrett in a Lumberjack Strap Match with a low blow and a Deadeye after everyone, including Karen Jarrett, gets to whip Hangman with leather straps and Karen is led out of the ring by referee Aubrey Edwards. After the match, Hangman hangs "Rock Hard" Juice Robinson on the ropes for hitting him with a leather strap as he went for the Buckshot Lariat earlier in the match, but The Gunns (Austin and Colten Gunn) make the save.

"The Rainmaker" Kazuchika Okada retains the AEW Continental Championship against Sammy Guevara.
