Speed Demon - Speed recap for May 3, 2024

Ricochet beats Johnny Gargano in the finals of the WWE Speed Championship Tournament to win the tournament and become the inaugural WWE Speed Champion! Unlike the rest of the tournament, the finals was contested in a five-minute match as opposed to a three-minute match.

Next Wednesday, a new four-man tournament begins Apollo Crews will face Ivar, and Tyler Bate will face Humberto Carrillo (now known as Berto). The winner will become number one contender to the WWE Speed Championship and face Ricochet for the title.
