Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for May 9, 2024

Backstage, we hear from The Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett). Matt Taven says that they are well-oiled machines and that "Cool Hand" Angelo Parker and "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard have no idea who they are dealing with after putting their names in their mouths. Mike Bennett says that they are the best tag team in the worldand prays that Parker is a better father than he is a wrestler, because if he is not, then he should have done his unborn son a favor and retired.

Mercedes Martinez, Diamante and Taya Valkyrie beats Lady Frost, "Legit" Leyla Hirsch and Abadon in a six-woman tag match.

Anthony Ogogo beats "Outlandish" Zicky Dice by knockout. After the match, Ogogo says that he is the "skull cracking, jaw cracking Governor" of All Elite Wrestling, a ten-time British boxing champion, former junior champion and Olympic medalist, and the newest addition to Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor, "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty, Ogogo).

Backstage, Rachael Ellering admits 2024 has not gone her way, but she is desperate to prove she belongs and that she loves nothing more than professional wrestling. Maria Kanellis-Bennett shows up and says Rachael is only desperate because she did not accept her help, then says women's wrestling does not sell tickets and what Rachael had will not sell anything. Rachael walks away, and Maria says Rachael cannot handle the truth.

Kiera Hogan beats Ashley D'Amboise.

Backstage, Nick Comoroto says the words of Jacoby Watts resonate with him very deeply, and in a world surrounded by darkness, Jacoby is a beacon of light. He says that words are power and that they control their own destinies, and together, the two of them can conquer this dark world, and that anybody can rise above. Jacoby shows up and asks the fans to join his brigade.

Lance Archer and The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch) beat "Lighting" Parker Lee and The Supastarz (Nikki Eight and Tommy Mars) in a six-man tag match.

Billie Starkz beats Dream Girl Ellie in an ROH Women's World Television Championship Proving Ground Match.

Backstage, "Smart" Mark Sterling tells The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese, Ariya Daivari, Josh Woods) that they have not been up front with the fans and that they should start naming names, as they want competition and that Daivari and Nese want something. Daivari says they want the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championships, and Nese says that they do not care who they have to beat to get them. Josh Woods says he is undeniably one of the best technical wrestlers in the world, and he aims to become ROH World Champion. Sterling says The Premier Athletes live by the three A's: anybody, any time, anywhere.

Spanish Announce Project (Angelico and Serpentico) beats Cole Karter and Griff Garrison with a La Magistral Cradle from Angelico to Cole Karter. After the match, Maria gets angry at Karter and throws Serpentico's mask into the ring, and Serpentico gets his mask back. Karter and Garrison then attack Spanish Announce Project before placing a chair in the corner. Serpentico fights back, but Karter and Garrison throws Serpentico in the chair before Maria takes the mask back.
