Josh Mathews interviews "The Miracle" Mike Bennett and Moose, and it becomes clear that these two don't like each other. Dan Matha is coming to NXT next week...

Ember Moon beats Mandy Rose.

She then learns that instead of defending the Gift of the Gods Championship tonight, she will be with in a match with The Super Friends (Drago, Aerostar and Fenix) against The Worldwide Underground (Johnny Mundo, "The Darewolf" PJ Black, Taya). Johnny Mundo rushes in looking for Taya, but finds Sexy Star instead and introduces himself. They shake hands, but Mundo grabs a hold of her hand and tells her he's the next Gift of the Gods Champion. He wants to help find the real killer and bring him to justice (even though he was the one who did it). He says that life must go on and so must the show, and asks him to win the next match. Castro, unprepared for the next match, finds out he is facing Pentagon Dark.

El Dragon Azteca Jr. beats Chavo Guerrero Jr. in a match with Rey Mysterio Jr. as special guest referee when Chavo gets in Rey's face. After the match, Chavo goes after Rey but eats a 619. Rey and El Dragon Azteca Jr. celebrate after the match.

He says that Daniel Bryan is not doing a good job. He says that Kevin Owens had a title handed to him, while he wants to earn one. Wyatt appears on the TitanTron and tells Orton that this is his world and that he is a god. Carmella and Natalya beat Nikki Bella and Naomi.

Randy Orton finds messages from Bray Wyatt in the boiler room. He almost finds Erick Rowan, too, but he closes the door.

The Miz and Maryse show up. After a video package of The Miz's career, The Miz tells the Cleveland, Ohio that he is home and that the Cleveland Cavaliers won the NBA Finals. He then says he is dissatisfied with his hero's welcome as he is the only hero in Cleveland. He says he was the hero of Cleveland before "Lebron James turned traitor." We see The Miz's parents again, and then Dolph Ziggler's parents. Dolph Ziggler shows up after Miz tells his parents that Ziggler is a world-class loser, and tells Miz that if he has something to say to him, to say it to his face. Miz says he said it when he beat him, but Ziggler says he cheated. The Miz goes on to verbally crap all over Ziggler, saying that he won and that Ziggler's is just a mid-level guy with an embarassing career who happens to be an embarassment to everyone around him. He then denies Ziggler a rematch for the Intercontinental Championship. As he leaves and Maryse, Ziggler tells him he was right and that while the ring is all he has, he still does it because he can't stop. He tells Miz to put the title on the line...and he'll put his career on the line. The Miz cannot believe what he is hearing, and he accepts the challenge.

Bray Wyatt says that when one door closes, another one opens. He tells Randy Orton the door is wide open yet he watches him like he's stuck in a maze. He tells Orton to be careful.

Alexa Bliss beats up Becky Lynch before she can have her match, and tells Becky she doesn't deserve the SmackDown Women's Championship.

We get more Curt Hawkins facts. Curt Hawkins says he will make a huge announcement next week.

John Cena guests on commentary for the next match.

AJ Styles retains the WWE World Championship against Dean Ambrose after AJ Styles hits Cena with a forearm and Cena tries to get in the ring as Ambrose has Styles rolled up. Styles is able to kick out, and Dean is yelling at Cena when Styles rolls him up and grabs the jeans to retain. After the match, Ambrose and Cena argue, and Cena reverses Dirty Deeds into an Attitude Adjustment. Styles gets into the ring, but he also eats an Attitude Adjustment to close out the show.

On Talking Smack, Becky Lynch says she has a target on her back, but she is used to it. She says people knew she was a threat before she became a champion, and now fighting is all she has and all she knows. Now that she has something to lose, she is holding on to the SmackDown Women's title tightly, as everyone is out for it like hungry people coming after her for carrying a big steak. Becky goes on to say that the SmackDown Women's Division is the division to watch, as there are some serious up-and-comers on the brand. She then goes on to say that the SmackDown Women's title is her life, and if anyone wants to take it from her, it's on.

On Talking Smack, John Cena says that he has been in the WWE for a long time and has done a lot there, and recently he's been facing his mortality. He has decided to make the WWE World Championship a goal of his, as he is not getting any younger. Cena says being a 16-time world champion is in the forefront of his mind, and he wants to make history and be in the conversation. He replies to Dean Ambrose's "lazy part-timer" comment by saying that he's always at work when others are at rest, and says that if Ambrose were to keep working as hard as he is, Ambrose can be in his position. Cena continues by saying that he's doing all right for himself right now, saying it's okay that he wasn't at Backlash and that he wasn't the top draft pick, because he knows that when he's in the ring, something special always happens. He tells Ambrose he is the sum of the five people he spends the most time with, and Cena says the people he surrounds himself with just go. He says that Ambrose is right about the "part-timer" part as he's doing it all, but Ambrose is wrong for calling him lazy.

Both men are incensed, and Foley tells them they don't have to like it. They will, however, get their opportunity against the winners of the next match.

The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Big E) retain the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships against Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson). Kofi Kingston gets busted open during the match and has to be tended to by medical staff after the match.

It is announced that Seth Rollins has suffered damage to his ribs and is not medically cleared to compete tonight.

Jericho tells Owens he exemplified the epitomy of a champion last night. Owens says he proved he should have been Raw's #1 pick, that he is the main event and that he is the man last night after retaining the Universal title and injuring Seth Rollins, which he calls "karma" for calling himself "The Man" and injuring other such as Sting and Finn Balor, and says he is the most dangerous man in WWE and not Rollins. Lashley makes it clear to "The Miracle" Mike Bennett that it's "me," not "we." Bennett knows Lashley will beat EC3, while he will beat Moose and hopefully get a title shot. Lashley also makes it clear he doesn't want Bennett eyeing his title.

Eli Drake insults himself to Aron Rex, but Aron Rex is not impressed by Eli Drake's insults and lays into him, calling him the offspring of an out-of-work Chippendale dancer and a Muppet.

Aron Rex beats Eli Drake by pinfall to continue to the finals of the Impact Grand Championship tournament at Bound For Glory.

Decay says The Great War will be the end of the Hardy Family ("Broken" Matt Hardy, Brother Nero and Reby Sky). Rosemary tells Reby she has no idea what she has done and that she has revealed her weakness. The first shot of The Great War has been fired. Decay then gets a message from Vanguard-1 that is simply Senor Benjamin laughing.

Aron Rex runs into Drew Galloway backstage. Drew Galloway says there can be only one, and that's him. Aron Rex says there can be only one who goes to the hospital, and that's Drew Galloway.

We get our first look at Cody Rhodes, who debuts in TNA at Bound For Glory!

Decay is in the ring. Rosemary calls out the Hardy Family (Broken Matt Hardy, Brother Nero, Reby Sky), telling them they're not afraid of them. She says The Great War transcends eartly needs, wants and possessions and that it will be the end of the Hardys. Abyss calls the crowd "sheep" and says that Decay will destroy what is left of the Hardy legacy, and it will be beautiful. Crazzy Steve says sending Vanguard-1 is a welcome invitation, and they welcome the invitation to The Great War with open arms, as when it is over, the crowd - and Matt's broken brilliance - will belong to Decay. Suddenly, "Broken" Matt Hardy is spotted in the crowd, telling Decay he will delete their tag team title reign (as well as calling Vanguard-1 and Skaarsgaard the Dilapidated Boat "magic.") Brother Nero is spotted says he has being broken, and that the Hardy Family will twist Decay's fate before they are rendered obsolete. Rosemary says Decay fears nothing for they are the death dealers, and that Brother Nero and Matt Hardy are tempting fate tonight for they are outnumbered and that they are not scared. Suddenly, the arena goes dark, and when the lights come back on, Abyss and Crazzy Steve are bound to the ring, and Rosemary is attacked by Reby Sky. Reby hits a Spear on Rosemary, and is about to go for the Twist of Fate when Rosemary retreats. Reby tells Rosemary that she made a big mistake mocking her and her child, and that next week, Rosemary's mother will be the one left without her baby.

Moose tells Ethan Carter III that he's going to whip ass tonight...be it Lashley's or "The Miracle' Mike Bennett's.

Before the next match, DJ Z says he is proud to be X Division Champion again. He says that he was young, cocky and disrespectful and didn't know much about what the title meant the first time around, but he's done some growing up since then and he wants to be the fighting champion the people deserve. He says that he is ready for a fight right now, and issues a challenge for the X Division title. Trevor Lee answers.

DJ Z retains the TNA X Division Championship against Trevor Lee. Andrew Everett atacks DJ Z after the match, but Eddie Edwards makes the save and forces Lee and Everett to retreat. Maria Kanellis-Bennett verbally trashes Allie backstage.

Tyrus is...The Fixer...

Ater showing more annoyance with Allie, Maria meets her opponent: Luscious Latasha, who isn't even mentioned by name. Maria quickly beats her after Sienna chokes her out as the ref is distracted. Maria wants another opponent, but Allie did not get one. Suddenly, a woman in a full black bodysuit that cannot even be identified appears, and she unmasks after fighting Maria for a while. It's none other than Gail Kim. Maria retreats, but Sienna eats Eat Defeat.

Ethan Carter III and Moose beat Lshley and "The Miracle" Mike Bennett. Moose goes after Bennett while Lashley brawls with EC3. Officals and X Division wrestlers have to hold these two men back. Billy Corgan shows up and makes a match for next week: Ethan Carter III vs. Lashley in a 4-on-4 Lethal Lockdown match, with the captain of the winning picking the stipulation for their World title match at Bound For Glory.

Generation NXT - NXT recap for September 21, 2016

Samoa Joe shows up to start tonight's show. He addresses the altercation between himself and "The King of Strong Style" Shinsuke Nakamura and reads the medical report in his hands, which states that Nakamura has suffered numerous injuries, will not require surgery but will require rest and rehabilitation up to six to twelve weeks. Joe isn't waiting that long, and he calls out General Manager William Regal, asking him to either bring him Nakamura or bring him the NXT title. Regal shows up, and says the medical report in Joe's hands is correct even though he has no idea where Joe got that report. However, he has not spoken to Nakamura yet, saying that Nakamura isn't the kind of guy who just picks up the phone. He says he will take care of the NXT Championship situation, especially the parts of it that Joe caused. Joe says "I didn't think it would come to this," leaves the ring and approaches Regal, telling him to "do the right thing" or else he will injure the rest of the NXT roster.

Cedric Alexander says he has worked seven years to get here, and he wanted the best. He got Andrade "Cien" Almas as his opponent, and now he plans to walk out on top tonight.

Livv Morgan says she didn't come to NXT to play limbo, she came here to hop hurdles. She isn't bowing down to anybody, and even though Asuka claims to have cleared out the women's division, she's standing right here, and she's not rising from the bottom to stay there. Asuka shows up, and says "If you think you're ready, let's find out."

Austin Aries beats Oney Lorcan with the Last Chancery. Aries says that the NXT Universe was buzzing about where he was last week. He says he was at home as he has more important things to do with his time off, and now that he's here, he would call out Hideo Itami, but Itami is a coward. Hideo Itami shows up and enters the ring, but Austin Aries leaves with his arms in the air like he just won a million dollars.

Dan Matha is coming to NXT in two weeks...

Last week, The Revival (Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder) and #DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa) brawled in the Full Sail University parking lot after the finale of The Cruiserweight Classic.

Billie Kay beats Aliyah.

Mandy Rose says Ember Moon doesn't have what it takes and doesn't fit the mold as she looks like a combination of Little Red Riding Hood and The Hunger Games. She calls herself what a real women's wrestler should look like, and says Ember Moon will see what it's like to be eclipsed when she gets in the ring with her.

Next week on NXT: Liv Morgan vs. Asuka!

NXT is coming to Tokyo, Japan on December 3rd!

Cedric Alexander beats Andrade "Cien" Almas in his NXT debut. Both men shake hands after the match, and Almas pulls Alexander back to hug him.

Underground Sound - Lucha Underground recap for September 21, 2016

Rey Mysterio Jr. and El Dragon Azteca Jr are training. Azteca wants to destroy Pentagon Dark, but Rey tells him that Pentagon has many enemies and to let them destroy him as they have their own fight...one more dangerous than him. Suddenly, Chavo Guerrero Jr. shows up, and El Dragon Azteca goes after him. Rey tells Chavo to let him go, and after he does, he tells Rey he's never told Azteca about "La Familia Guerrero," and that it looks he may have to be the one to teach him.

Dario Cueto is in the temple to spin Dario's Dial of Doom and see who gets a shot at the Lucha Underground Championship against his brother Matanza Cueto. After making fun of Son of Havoc by saying nobody believed he could beat Matanza, he spins the wheel. Tonight, it is The Mack's turn.

Matanza Cueto retains the Lucha Underground Championship against The Mack.

Somewhere on the open road, Son of Havoc is watching Famous B's commercials, and says he can't stand Famous B. Neither can Mascarita Sagrada, who is watching them with Son of Havoc at Havoc's house. Havoc's mom has also made some Bagel Bites.

Johnny Mundo shows up in Dario Cueto's office, demanding a shot at the Lucha Underground Championship. Cueto tells him he has a Trios title shot tonight, but Mundo doesn't care and says he's not competing tonight and is heading to the dojo. He tells Cueto to think long and hard about how he's treating him. Taya, who is with Mundo up until this point, eagerly steps in as Mundo's replacement, much to Cueto's delight.

Before the next match, Dario Cueto shows up and says Cage and Texano have a lot in common, including losing out on unique opportunities. He announces this match will be not for a unique opportunity, but for "the ultimate opportunity," and only the winner will find out what this is.

Cage beats Texano. After the match, Dario Cueto then tells him that if he wants the ultimate opportunity, he must beat Texano two more times as this was only the first match in a Best of Five Series. With this victory, Cage leads 1-0.

Dario Cueto opens a box and gets a 423-GET-FAME hat inside. He also opens an envelope, which contains some pretty gruesome pictures. He is looking through them when El Dragon Azteca Jr., and Cueto throws them in the trash. Azteca wants a match with Pentagon, but Cueto says he can't just make a match whenever he wants. He likes the idea, though, and pencils it in after he tells Azteca he has the match. Ricky Mandel, whom we haven't seen in some time shows up and asks when his next match is, and he notices that the pictures are on the desk. Cueto hands him the pictures to Mandel to get them out of his hair Chavo Guerrero Jr. then shows up, and after Ricky Mandel tells him that now is not a good time, Chavo tells Cueto that they need to talk.

The Super Friends (Fenix, Aerostar and Drago) retain the Lucha Underground Trios Championships against The Worldwide Underground (Jack Evans, "The Darewolf" PJ Black, Taya). Johnny Mundo shows after the match, and he, PJ Black and Taya attack the champs after the match. Sexy Star shows up and clears the ring, but not before getting a shot in on Taya.

Dario Cueto talks to Rey Mysterio Jr. about next week. He tells Rey that Azteca came to him demanding a match against Pentagon Dark, and that he has pencilled it in. Dario agrees with Rey that he's not ready, and that Azteca will be facing Chavo Guerrero next week, with the winner facing Pentagon. Cueto also tells Rey what happened to his tribe, and makes Rey Mysterio Jr. the guest referee for the match, going so far as to put it in ink instead of in pencil.

Here are the highlights from tonight's show!

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown Live recap for September 20, 2016

During the pre-show, it is announced that The Miz has successfully re-negotiated his contract and will be defending the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Dolph Ziggler tonight. We also see a Facebook Live message from The Miz concerning the match, saying he thought he would be celebrating the contract re-negotiation and says that Commissioner Shane McMahon and General Manager Daniel Bryan pulled a fast one on him, as he says that Dolph Ziggler should not be #1 contender again.

It is announced during the pre-show that there will be a contract signing between Alexa Bliss and Becky Lynch for their WWE SmackDown Women's Championship Match. Alexa Bliss is then interviewed on Skype. She says that she used to have Wesley Blake and Buddy Murphy by her side at NXT, but now that she's on her own, she can not only talk trash, but also back it up, and that nothing is holding her back right now and that she will take advantage of Becky's mistakes at No Mercy. Booker T tells Alexa Bliss that he made her a believer after last week's match, and asks what it will take to beat Becky Lynch. Alexa says she beat Becky Lynch in her NXT debut, and that she can do it again for the SmackDown Women's title. Jerry "The King" Lawler compares Alexa Bliss to comic book villianess Harley Quinn, and notes the resemblance between Alexa's recent look at Harley Quinn. Alexa says to stay sane, sometimes you have to go a little crazy, and so far it is working. Alexa then tells Becky Lynch to surprise her at No Mercy, as it takes a lot to surprise her and that she hasn't shown Becky all of her tricks yet. She admits she did not win a title in NXT, but she plans on changing that next month.

Daniel Bryan is in the ring with a blue carpet, table and contract inside the ring. He announces that the WWE SmackDown Women's Championship will be defended for the very first time at No Mercy, and that this will be the first ever contract signing for it. He insists that the contract signing be civil. Becky Lynch is introduces first, followed by Alexa Bliss. Alexa and Becky share words, and Alexa says that Becky doesn't fit the role of champion, and that she was born to be a loser. Becky Lynch agrees, saying she wasn't born to be a champion, but says she wants this and has poured her heart and soul into this and that she fought to become a champion, and tells Alexa she will rip her head off at No Mercy if she thinks she can win. Alexa says she is the one born to be champion and that Becky was destined for second place, then signs the contract, but not before throwing her microphone into Becky's face and toppling the table on her. As Alexa leaves, Becky rushes out of the ring and beats Alexa up, forcing her to retreat. She then heads back to the ring and signs the contract, making the SmackDown Women's title match official.

The Miz confronts Daniel Bryan about his Intercontinental Championship defense tonight. Daniel Bryan tells Miz he can cancel the match...and then cancel his contract according to the terms of said contract. The Miz backs down.

The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) beat American Alpha (Jason Jordan and Chad Gable) to become #1 contenders for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships at No Mercy. Backstage, Heath Slater talks with Rhyno, saying that they've beaten The Usos once and they can do it again. The Usos meet up with them, and threaten to beat them up. Randy Orton beats Erick Rowan. After the match, Rowan disappears and only his mask remains when the arena goes dark. Bray Wyatt then appears on the TitanTron, and tells Orton that he is still a man who can die at any given moment while he himself is a god that can never die.

The Hoffman Family have gotten a seat upgrade to the front row courtesy of Little Caesars.

AJ Styles attacks Cena and Ambrose after the match, then Daniel Bryan shows up and tells Styles that Ambrose has a World title rematch and that it will happen next week. Ambrose hits Dirty Deeds on Styles to end the show.

Carmella shows up during Talking Smack, mocks both Daniel Bryan and Renee Young, and says all eyes were on Nikki Bella instead of on her at SummerSlam, and has decided to make a statement by attacking her. She says she is here to be the best and become SmackDown Women's Champion, and to do that, she wants to make Nikki Bella wish she never came back and to put her out of commission.

Dean Ambrose appears on Talking Smack. He says he is just as good as John Cena, and calls Cena a snake in the grass in the jungle of SmackDown Live. He says Cena wants to be the nice guy, and says he's never walked on eggshells around him. He makes it clear that he and Cena don't like each other. As for Cena's words about him last week that he has no morals, Ambrose says he doesn't care about anybody's opinion of him. He says that he has done a lot worse to a lot of people than what AJ Styles has done to him, and says Styles is his enemy now, not just his rival. He says next week will be more of a fight than a wrestling match, and that he is better than Styles and Cena. He closes Talking Smack by saying he's been running the show for a while now and not Cena, and that the WWE would fall apart without him.

On the pre-show, Jerry "The King" Lawler announces that TJ Perkins will be debuting on the main roster tonight, and that his new restaurant on Beale Street in Memphis, Tennessee will have its grand opening tonight.

Foley says he will be putting Rusev in a match against Seth Rollins, and that he will face Rusev for the United States title at Clash of Champions. Roman wants to know what's in it for him, especially since Triple H screwed him out of the Universal title. Foley says that he wants to be taken at word, and that if Raw does not win the ratings war, he's out of a job even though Stephanie McMahon can always get back on his feet, and if it weren't for Stephanie, he wouldn't be here. He knows he has to set things right, and he plans on doing that by signing Roman to a rematch against Kevin Owens tonight. Kevin Owens shows up and says he's beaten Roman twice and that he shouldn't have to wrestle him anymore, but Foley and Stephanie tell him that he has to do the rematch, that it is a non-title match and that the match will take place in a steel cage. Seth Rollins then shows up for his match.

Earlier today, Sheamus said there is no pressure on him and that Cesaro's problem is that he feels he's underappreciated even though he can't win the big one. He plans to win one more match and leave Cesaro behind for a championship opportunity.

Cesaro beats Sheamus to tie the series 3-3 in their Best of Seven series.

Mick Foley is on the phone, and we find out that Match #7 of Sheamus vs. Cesaro's Best of Seven series will be at Clash of Champions. Jericho is in the ring with a list of everything he doesn't like about Foley, and actually screams into the side of Foley's face that is missing an ear. Some of things that Jericho doesn't like, not surprisingly, goes into insider terms.

Chris Jericho is in the ring, talking about all the things he doesn't like about Mick Foley. All of a sudden, Enzo Amore and Big Cass show up. Enzo makes fun of Jericho's fashion sense, while Big Cass namedrop some famous duos. Suddenly, The Shining Stars (Primo and Epico) give out brochures for timeshares in Puerto Rico. Then, The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xaier Woods) show up and say they're out here because they have nothing better to do other than plug UpUpDownDown, plus Woods is giving out two brand-new iPhone 7's before saying they will continue to be Raw tag champs. Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson) then show up, saying that they will beat them for the tag titles before mocking them once again. Jericho says he is now starting a new list, and everyone in the ring is in it. As he starts the list, Sami Zayn shows up and brawls with Jericho, which in turn starts a brawl between everyone in the ring.

After the match, Roman Reigns fights Rusev, who tries to attack Roman from out of nowhere, but Rusev gets the upper hand and tosses Roman back into the steel cage with Kevin Owens before locking the cage door shut and giving Roman a beatdown. Seth Rollins rushes in and climbs into the cage to fight off Owens and Rusev. The show ends with Seth Rollins hitting a cross body on both Rusev and Owens from the top of the steel cage.

Here are the top 10 moments from tonight's show!

My predictions for Clash of Champions 2016

Alicia Fox vs. Nia Jax

After Nia Jax put a friend of Alicia Fox's into the hospital and put Alicia herself through a barricade, we got to see what Nia Jax can really do...and she just might crank it up on pay-per-view

My prediction: Nia Jax is going to become the female Brock Lesnar, except without all that blood and concussions stuff. Hopefully.

Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens (c)

for the WWE Universal Championship

Seth Rollins feels cheated out of the WWE Universal Championship, thanks to Triple H, the man who made him famous. Kevin Owens chalks Rollins' grievance up to jealousy, and wants to keep the Universal Championship by any means necessary, and it's all going to boil over at Clash of Champions...

My prediction: Kevin Owens will retain.

Gallows & Anderson (Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson)
vs.
The New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods) (c)

for the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships

After holding the tag team titles for over a year, The New Day may have finally met their match. They narrowly escaped Gallows and Anderson after Big E - the man Gallows and Anderson took out of the equation before SummerSlam - is back and ready to help defend the tag team titles. But will the presence of Big E back in the fold help The New Day retain the tag titles of the red brand, or will these copper-plated championships find a new home?

My prediction: Gallows and Anderson will take the titles this time. Seriously.

Sasha Banks vs. Bayley vs. Charlotte (c)

for the WWE Raw Women's Championship

Sasha Banks may have put her back out at SummerSlam, but you can't keep a good wrestler down as Sasha is already back in action and making it bad news for Charlotte. Now she's out to take the Raw Women's title back from the woman who calls herself the queen of Raw's Women's Division...but wait? What's this? Sasha Banks and Bayley had their shoulders down during the finish? And now Foley's made this a triple threat match? Well, now...

My prediction: Sasha Banks is taking the title back.

Sami Zayn vs. Chris Jericho

One is friends with Kevin Owens. The other used to be friends with Owens until it came to a nasty end. Now these two are going at it...

My prediction: Sami Zayn will win this one somehow.

Roman Reigns vs. Rusev (c)

for the WWE United States Championship

C'mon. You knew this going to happen after Rusev came back.

My prediction: Roman. He can. He will. And because Rusev has held the title for too long and his reign has been unmemorable beyond making fun of Titus O'Neil's kids and declaring that the 4th of July be Rusev Day.

Cesaro vs. Sheamus

in Match #7 of the Best of Seven Series

It's all tied up after a late rally for Cesaro. This one is for all the marbles and the winner gets a championship opportunity. Get ready.

My prediction: Cesaro's winning this one.

The Brian Kendrick vs. TJ Perkins (c)

for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship

TJ Perkins may have won The Cruiserweight Classic, but The Brian Kendrick has won the first Cruiserweight Division match on Raw to earn a shot at it and Perkins now has first real test as champion. There's nowhere to go but up for this division.

My prediction: Perkins will retain.

Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for September 17, 2016

Steve Corino returns to commentary this week with his one-year suspension served.

The Guerrillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga and Tongo Roa) beat The Cabinet (Kenny King and Rhett Titus) after Caprice Coleman's interference attempt from the top rope is foiled by Tama Tonga. Caprice Coleman says The Guerrillas of Destiny have not seen the last of The Cabinet.

Jay Lethal tells Tetsuya Naito that what he did last week is both business and personal. He says that he has to beat him to make his way back to the top of ROH, and tells Naito the day he turned his back on him is the second-worst day of his life, with the worst day of Naito's life will be All-Star Extravaganza.

Shane Taylor talks about how that Ray Rowe trained him to wrestle, and for the next seven years, they ruled Cleveland, Ohio with Rowe leading and him listening. He then says Rowe went to Texas when he had enough and became a star as one-half of War Machine with Hansen, and left him surrounded by the enemies Rowe created. Meanwhile, he started tearing up those enemies in Cleveland, and now he is in Ring of Honor. He tells Rowe that his past will soon catch up with him.

Keith Lee and Shane Taylor beat Ricardo Rojas and Ken Phoenix. After the match, Lee grabs a microphone and proclaims himself and Lee are now "the baddest team in Ring of Honor." He tells War Machine (Hanson and Rowe) they smashed them in Philadelphia, yet they're stupid to stay down, and he tells Rowe this won't end until one of them stops breathing. War Machine show up, and Rowe tells Taylor he's right, telling him and Lee they'd didn't kill them when they had the chance. He calls Taylor the last person he expected to stab him in the back and twist the knife after opening doors and presenting opportunities for him. He tells Taylor isn't about his betrayal or revenge, and that he's here for violence. He hopes and prays Taylor enjoyed his 15 minutes of fame, as the next 15 minutes are going to be one he wishes he'd forget.

Adam Cole talks about his match next week where he teams up with "Hangman" Adam Page to take on "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin and Hiroshi Tanahashi. He calls the team of Elgin and Tanahashi "Wishful Thinking" because they wish both men could be as dominant as him and Bullet Club. He stands as ROH World Champion, and he and Page plan to make an example of them...and make sure they don't like it.

The team of Keith Lee and Shane Taylor vs. War Machine (Hanson and Rowe) ends in a double disqualification after both men destroy each other with steel chairs. Keith Lee and Shane Taylor then powerbomb Rowe through two steel chairs.

Matt Tavis guests on commentary for the next match. He announces that The Kingdom will be among the participants in the Six-Man Tag Tournament.

Kamaitachi and The Addiction (Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian) beat Kazuchika Okada and Roppongi Vice (Trent Baretta and Rocky Romero).

Saturday Night's Main Event - Main Event recap for September 17, 2016

Results courtesy of Daily Wrestling News and PWInsider.

Before the next match, Breezango (Tyler Breeze and Fandango) ask themselves how they could possibly get more gorgeous. Fandango says Breeze has outdone himself and he says he usually doesn’t wear shirts. Tyler says he was in Dubai looking for the finest silk for their fall fashion line. Tyler says the line is one of a kind and that it can't be found anywhere else in the world, and if one could, they couldn't afford it. Fandango then calls Kane the big red dancing machine, and offers him a shirt. Breeze says he can't get one, but he can get one from Miguel (whoever that is). When Breeze asks for Kane's measurements, however, it doesn't go very well and Kane punches both members of Breezango, starting the match.

Kane quickly beats Fandango, choke slamming Tyler Breeze along with him.

Jason Jordan beats Aiden English.

Eli Drake starts tonight's show. He says he is here to win, and that he always wins, even when he loses. He also says "Dummy" a lot. He says that his tag team partner for tonight, Sienna, wants him badly, even though he didn't really want him badly. Grado shows up and says this reminds him of Love Connection, and wants to play the game show. Sienna wants no part of this. Grado then says that he and his tag team partner will win tonight. Mahabali Shera beats Rockstar Spud. After the match, Shera celebrates by dancing with "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero and a random woman until Rockstar Spud kicks Shera in the balls.

Moose says that DJ Z is tough, but he is here to make a difference and to win some gold.

Crazzy Steve plans to paint a portrait of violence with Tyrus' blood...and it will be perfect.

Before the next match, Rosemary mocks Tyrus for calling himself "The Fixer," saying that they are perfect. Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for September 15, 2016

Matt Hardy looks back on Delete or Decay, then walks Brother Nero to the "Lake of Reincarnation." He places Brother Nero in the lake, and after we temporarily get back "Immortal Era" Jeff Hardy, Matt puts him back in the lake and pulls out a fully healed Brother Nero.

Lashley shows to start the show with an interview in the ring with Jeremy Borash. Lashley says he warned everyone that 2016 would be the year he took over the wrestling industry. Lashley talks about how he crushed EC3 and how there is no match for Bound For Glory, and if there was a match, his opponent would feel the same fate as EC3. He also entertains the thought of Jeremy Borash as his opponent, but calls JB "a joke." All of a sudden, Grado appears. Lashley can't tell if Grado or JB is the bigger joke, but Grado says JB is a bigger joke than he'll ever be, and he says that he is no joke and that Lashley can be beaten. He calls Lashley a coward, but Lashley says he can crush anybody on the roster and proves that by decimating Grado. Lashley then says nobody on the TNA roster can beat him. Suddenly, Moose shows up and stares Lashley down before hitting him with a few clotheslines. Lashley leaves the ring, and Moose says that he's going to whoop his ass as the people want to see them fight, and if he has to drag Lashley to the ring to get a fight, he'll do it, too.

Aron Rex says he wasn't sure if he'd be in a wrestling ring two months ago, but now he's ready to adapt to anything in his way. He tells Drew Galloway that he's been handed opportunity after opportunity and complains about it, while he has had to adapt and create opportunities for himself. He tells Galloway that he will learn the difference between them, and soon.

Lashley turns down Moose's challenge, telling him he doesn't just show up and demand opportunities and that he should work for them, and that fighting him is bad for his health.

Aron Rex beats Trevor Lee by pinfall to continue to the next round of the Impact Grand Championship Tournament.

Maria says that tonight she finds out who she faces at Bound For Glory, but she will beat that opponent as she is always successful and always gets what she wants.

Matt Hardy finds Vanguard-1 stuck in a tree, and pleas to "the seven deities" to bring Vanguard-1 back. After we see some memories involving Senor Benjamin, Vanguard-1 is back.

Maria Kanellis-Bennett and Allie are in the ring. She calls Allie "stupid and common, just like all of you," and says she plans to ruin Bound For Glory in revenge for having her Knockouts Diision leadership position ruined by inducting Gail Kim into the Hall of Fame tonight. Gail Kim shows up, and we see a video package of Maria attacking Gail that she calls "highlights." Maria continues to mock Gail and gives her a picture of Maria with the Knockouts Title. Allie calls Gail "the best female wrestler ever" and hands Gail a gift, but Maria destroys it. Gail Kim tells Maria that she has lost her mind, and Maria says she can't wait until she no longer has to see Gail Kim's face again. Dixie Carter shows up and tells Maria that she has no power at this time and that Gail Kim will be inducted at Bound For Glory, then announces that there is a Knockouts gauntlet match tonight for a shot at the Knockouts Championship, and Gail Kim is in the match. Gail tells Maria that she will win the gauntlet match and whip Maria's ass at Bound For Glory.

Braxton Sutter beats Rockstar Spud in an Exposed Turnbuckle Empty Arena Match...and busts his mouth open.

Vanguard-1 finds Senor Benjamin tied up in a shack. Matt Hardy frees him, then tells him to prepare the Hardy estate for war at Bound For Glory.

Moose laughs at Lashley rejecting his challenging, saying that they were destined to fight. He asks Lashley if he will accept his challenge or run like a little bitch.

Brother Nero, Matt Hardy and Reby Sky are in the ring. Matt Hardy talks about "Delete or Decay," and says that Decay (Rosemary, Abyss, Crazzy Steve) committed blasphemy against Senor Benjamin and attempted to kidnap his son, and for that they must be sentenced to the darkness of deletion. He plans to take the TNA World Tag Team Championships from them and delete them. Decay's music play, but they are nowhere to be seen. Rosemary is near the hard cam and says that Maxel deserves a family that is not broken. Abyss is on the ramp and says that the tag titles belong to Decay. Crazzy Steve is in the crowd, and he offers The Broken Hardys their own destruction. Matt says that death is only the beginning, as their vessels may perish but their souls will live forever. He tells Decay to bring it on, as it will only make them stronger. Brother Nero says they may be broken, but they have survived, and Decay will be rendered obsolete. Matt tthen challenges Decay to "The Great War." Decay accept the challenge, and Rosemary says that they will become Maxel's family. After Rosemary makes fun of the Hardy family and calls Reby Sky an unfit mother, the Hardy family attack Decay and quickly come out on top.

"The Miracle" Mike Bennett tells Lashley that Moose called him "a little bitch." Lashley, thinking that Bennett wants him to fight Moose now so Bennett won't have to face him later, still decides to beat up Moose...then maybe, he'll beat up Bennett.

Allie is replaced as Entrant #2 in the Knockout Gauntlet Match by Maria Kannellis-Bennett with someone "taller and more intelligent than her," and that someone is the debuting Laurel Van Ness. (Laurel Van Ness is Chelsea Green, who was on WWE Tough Enough last year.)

Gail Kim wins a Knockouts Gauntlet Match to face Maria for the TNA Knockouts Championship at Bound For Glory.

Eddie Edwards beats Mahabali Shera with a single leg Boston Crab to continue to the next round of the Impact Grand Championship Tournament.

Before the next match, Lashley tells Moose he's not only a dominator but a businessman, and if they want to go at it, they should do it at Bound For Glory. Moose loves the idea, but says he can't wait and attacks Lashley, starting a brawl. "The Miracle" Mike Bennett shows up and attacks Moose from behind, and Ethan Carter III makes his return soon after as Moose is ganged up on by both Lashley and Bennett. The show ends with EC3 hitting both Lashley and Bennett with a double clothesline.
