Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for September 24, 2016

"The Last Real Man" Silas Young beats Toru Yano after sending him into the turnbuckle that Toru Yano exposed. Silas Young attacks Toru Yano after the match, but it isn't long before The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe) make the save for Yano.

Christopher Daniels says he's always been the smartest man, as he can usually manipulate the situation to his advantage. But for Ladder Wars, he decided the best course of action is to tell the truth. He has been in the business for 23 years, and he always wonders about the end of his career. He says an athlete dies two deaths, and that his first death could happen at anytime. He also fears having his last championship match ever, and tells his Ladder War opponents to think about what it's they're willing to sacrifice to keep the things that are important to them. If he woke up tomorrow and had the tag team titles, he'd be fine with that, as he is a horrible husband and a terrible father, and that he's only good at professional wrestling. He cannot imagine a life without the tag team titles, saying such a life does not interest him. He knows what he's willing to do to keep the titles: anything. He says his tag team title reign with Frankie Kazarian will last forever, and that The Addiction (Daniels, Kazarian) will end The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) and The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley).

Kevin Sullivan guests on commentary for the next match.

Punisher Martinez - now known as "The Punishment" Damian Martinez and accompanied by BJ Whitmer and Kevin Sullivan, absolutely destroys Cheeseburger. Kevin Sullivan tells Steve Corino to accept who he is - his son, Lucan. After the match, Martinez and Whitmer attack Cheesburger with the golden spike, and when Will Ferrara comes to make the save for Cheeseburger, he suffers the same high-elevation one-handed choke slam as Cheeseburger.

Kyle O'Reilly guests on commentary for the next match.

"Unbreakable" Michael Elgin and Hiroshi Tanahashi beat The Bullet Club (Adam Cole and "Hangman" Adam Page) just as Cole is about to rush into the ring to use the ROH World Championship as a weapon.
