As Kay Lee Ray says it is time to see who has a killer instinct, Jinny slaps Piper Niven only to get headbutted by Piper, who then smacks Jinny with the chair. Aleah James tries to stop Piper only to get a Falcon Arrow. Piper then grabs Jinny and slams her into the chair with a Falcon Arrow, then tells Kay Lee Ray not to disrespect her ever again. Kay Lee Ray trips as she runs away from Piper Niven

Pat McAfee, Oney Lorcan, Danny Burch and Pete Dunne Pat McAfee, Oney Lorcan, Danny Burch and Pete Dunne are still in the ring after the commercial break. McAfee says they are the best group in NXT, then says they are men of class and the new kings of NXT. He says that as the new kings, he says it is only proper to pay tribute to The Undisputed Era (Adam Cole, Bobby Fish, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong) and their accomplishments in NXT. As Pat McAfee mocks the history of The Undisputed Era, Pete Dunne says Roderick Strong taught him he had to trust the right people in this business and that he finally returned the favor last week. McAfee then says The Undisputed Era got more greedy and that NXT changed their business philosophy to prop them up, while people like Oney Lorcan and Danny Burch were held back. Burch says that people told him and Lorcan they would never make it, but they are now tag team champions. Pat McAfee then says that The Undisputed Era did whatever they wanted, and that it took a run-in with him for it to all to start crashing down. McAfee says that he and his group have hated The Undisputed Era for various reasons, and that putting Adam Cole was the greatest thing he has ever done. He then says it is time to put their banner up in the air so they are never head from again. McAfee then asks Lorcan, Burch and Dunne if they should put the banner up, and after a democratic vote between the four of them, they agree to throw the banner in a trash can "like Vic Joseph's face." After the banner is placed in a trash can, Dunne pours lighter fluid on it, then lights up a lighter and throws it on the banner, lighting it on fire. Pat McAfee mocks the fans, then everyone leaves. As they get in their car, however, Killian Dain and Drake Maverick attack them, but they are quickly laid out, and Pete Dunne kicks a car door into Killian Dain's head. The four of them then drive off, and there is a pool of blood emanating from Killain Dain's mouth.
We hear from Johnny Gargano, who says that he likes wheels and making history, despite recent rumors to the contrary regarding wheels. Suddenly, he gets a phone call from the cloaked figure, who says they are in the house. The cloaked figure is then revealed to be sitting next to Johnny. Johnny Gargano then says that he defends his title next week and ends his title defense curse, then wins The Game of Life against the black cloaked figure.
Toni Storm beats Shotzi Blackheart after Candice LeRae shows up on the TitanTron in the middle of a road with Shotzi's tank, saying she will watch over it for her. It is announced that Killian Dain is heading to a hospital following the attack on him from earlier tonight. After the match, Candace - still on the TitanTron - stops a Hummer, then gets in the driver's seat and runs the tank over as a lesson to those who stick their nose into her and Johnny Gargano's business. The hooded black figure sits in the back seat. After Candace LeRae says she and Shotzi Blackheart are even after Shotzi cost her the NXT Women's Championship, Shotzi is distraught, and Toni Storm tries to console Shotzi.
In footage from earlier today, Legado del Fantasma (Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, Raul Mendoza) is confronted by Jake Atlas, who strikes Raul Mendoza with a pipe before driving off.
It's time for another live edition of Thatch As Thatch Can. Timothy Thatcher's next lesson is reversals. He says that anybody can catch a hold and that you have to ready at all times when you step in the ring. Timothy Thatcher then demonstrates a front guillotine choke with his student Akeem, then has Akeem do one so he moves to the side as he goes down and applies pressure with his forearm to forcefuly break the hold and go for a Kimura Lock. As Akeem taps, he locks it in even more, and Akeem almost gets angry with him. Thatcher then shows what to do during an escape attempt from the opponent, which leads to an ankle lock. Suddenly, Thatcher is attacked from behind by "Retro" Anthony Green, now known as August Grey.
Backstage, Mackenzie Mitchell interviews Xia Li, who says that the letters she has gotten are personal letters from family and that she must turn things around. Regal says he will take care of that.

In footage from earlier today, Tony Schiavone interviews Kenny Omega, who admits that he has relocated to Jacksonville, Florida temporarily to concentrate on the World Title Eliminator Tournament. Omega says that making it to the finals of the tournament on his own merits to face "Hangman" Adam Page is the only proper way to win the tournament, then asks the viewers who they have in the finals before saying he is destined to win the tournament and become the next AEW World Champion.
Before the next match, Miro interrupts Justin Roberts' ring announcing to tell Trent that the match is until he falls because he is stupid and ignorant and because his mother did not teach him any manners. This leads Trent to attack Miro before the bell rings.
Miro beats Trent with Game Over, then puts him back in the hold until Chuck Taylor runs in and attacks Miro. "Superbad" Kip Sabian gets in the ring and fights Taylor, hitting him with a drop kick in the corner before tossing him out of the ring. Page admits he is nervous, as does anybody who walks through the entrance tunnels, and while he may not have been the first AEW World Champion, this is the closest he has gotten since his match with Chris Jericho. Starks says he has hit every opportunity AEW has given him out of the park and proved why he is called "Absolute," and that he cannot figure out why he cannot even be ranked. He also wants to know why Team Taz (Cage and Starks) does not have a match at Full Gear, then Taz mentions "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes' match with Darby Allin for the AEW TNT Championship before saying that Cody and Allin are both spoiled, entitled and given whatever they want. Kingston says he had to sell out and become everything he hated to get the title, and says there is no saving him as he takes the title from Moxley. Moxley takes the microphone and says that the longer he has been in the business, the more he has learned that loyality is a bitch, and while he has been burned time and time again, he never thought Kingston would burn him. He tells Kingston that he was happy for him and for his mother, to whom he promised that he would watch Kingston's back. Cody then takes the microphone and says he does not like telling a story that is not true, but says that Darby Allin - who has watched the match from the upper balcony seats and is still watching from there now - has told people that TNT does not want them as their champion because he is too reckless. Cody says TNT would love someone like Allin as their champion, and if the situation was different, so would he, because he solely recruited him to AEW even when they were so unsure of Allin that Cody had to wrestle him himself. Shida grabs Vickie, causing Nyla to attack Shida, and Shida has to be held back.
The Gunn Club (Billy and Austin Gunn) and "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes beat The Dark Order (John "4" Silver, Preston "10" Vance and Colt Cabana). After the match, The Dark Order confronts The Gunn Club and Cody, and when John Silver tries to attack Cody and The Gunn Club from behind with a steel chair, Orange Cassidy shows up and stops Silver, hitting him with an Orange Punch. He tells Allin to look at the man who left the empire, went to war and actually won, then tells him that the truth that he speaks contradicts the lies a lot of people live. Cody says that Allin wants "the ace belt," but he is not the ace.

TJP says he is here to answer Rohit's challenge, but Rohit reminds TJP that he lost at Bound For Glory, and tells him to leave his ring. TJP says Rohit has yet to really beat him, but Rohit says TJP has taken his time and opportunity and he had to claw and fight. TJP says he has put in the work and that he has wrestled longer than Rohit has ever watched wrestling, then says the world and wrestling could not beat him and that Rohit cannot beat him. Rohit calls TJP a "has-been" and "pathetic," then TJP drops the microphone and leaves the ring. He says some people stated he did not earn the title, but he went to hell and back and defeated EC3 at Bound For Glory to keep it. Moose says he has controlled his narrative and is now born again, then looks back at his time in Impact Wrestling, saying he is undefeated in pay-per-views and has beaten some legendary names. He then says that everyone only talks about Rich Swann, then says Swann carries only the second-most important championship in Impact, then tells him to ask EC3 what pain really feels like before showing footage of his attack on Willie Mack last week. Moose says that Willie Mack is a good friend of Swann's, and tells Swann to ask him what pain feels like as he experienced first-hand. As he tells Swann he has been warned, Willie Mack runs into the ring and attacks Moose. Moose, however, levels Willie Mack on the outside before choking him with a camera cord.

Randy Orton shows up to start tonight's show. Orton says he became WWE Champion and a fourteen-time world champion eight days ago, and proved he is the best of the best, but "best of the best" does him no justice; Orton says he is "the best, period." Orton says that he has proved he is better than everyone else in the back and that he is the position he is in because he is the best, and because he showed the entire world he is no longer the "Legend Killer" and is now simply a legend. He says that the WWE Championship puts a target on that back, but he welcomes that target and dares anybody in the back to take the title from him. Suddenly, Alexa Bliss shows up. Alexa Bliss gets in the ring, and Orton demands the location of "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt. Alexa Bliss tells him "He...could...be...here..." before the arena lights briefly go red. Suddenly, Orton is hit with a Claymore Kick form out of nowhere by Drew McIntyre, who demands his rematch for the WWE Championship and promises to make Orton's life a living hell. As McIntyre leaves, The Miz and John Morrison show up, call for a referee, and try to cash in the Money In The Bank contract, but Drew McIntyre gets back in the ring and tosses Miz and Morrison out before the bell can be rung, and tells them that nobody is taking the WWE Championship but him.
