After the match, Taz tells Page he got lucky and that he should watch his back. Suddenly, Hook is in the ring, and he hits Page with a chop block. Hook and Starks gang up on Page, but Page fight back. "The Machine" Brian Cage then shows up to put Page away, but he, Starks and Hook are forced to retreat when The Dark Order swarms the ring.

Outside of the arena, The Elite enter their own private trailer.

Penta el Zero Miedo beats Trent? after Alex Abrahantes tells Trent that his mom Sue "sucks", causing Trent to chase Abrahantes into the ring with a chair. Orange Cassidy gets behind Abrahantes in the ring, but Penta gets behind Orange Cassidy and superkicks him, causing a distraction that allows Penta and Abrahantes to double-team Trent so Penta can get the win.

Jim Ross interviews The Pinnacle. MJF says he has has been wearing Burbury scarves, and reveals a new silk Burbury scarf. Wardlow, who provides the scarf, says that Chris Jericho cut a really good promo, then stumbled his words when he mentioned him as he knew he was doing something wrong. MJF says that Jericho has been an industry player until now, as he has only tried to make himself look good, and while Jericho has outsmarted everyone who has been in his path, Jericho could not outsmart him. He says that he has done more at 25 than Jericho ever has and that Pinnacle is the strongest faction in AEW, and reminds Jericho that he has already beaten him, and tells Jericho to send his family against his so they can go to war. MJF says that he is coming for Jericho's spot and that he will take it at Blood and Guts.

Chris Jericho says that Blood and Guts will be one of the most brutal matches in TNT history, and Jake Hager tells The Pinnacle that they will be sucking their food through a straw for a month. Jericho says that he heard The Pinnacle talk and that they say nothing, but Santana says that they keep calling them out wanting to face the best only to wait until they have a squad to back them up, calling it "a bitch move." He says that The Inner Circle saw the color of The Pinnacle's blood, and soon they will see the size of their heart. Jericho then says that The Pinnacle have no conviction and that he cannot feel what MJF is saying, saying he sounds like he is singing show tunes. Jericho then mockingly sings about MJF and brags about giving him a swirly in the toilet, and says he washed his ass with the silk scarf before Tully Blanchard gave it to him. He then says that as fun as it is to make fun of The Pinnacle, Blood and Guts will be a match that nobody will forget, and next week, The Pinnacle and The Inner Circle will have "an old-fashioned parley" and that The Inner Circle will own them on May 5th.

QT Marshall beats Billy Gunn after Anthony Ogogo shows up and punches Gunn in the gut as Marshall distracts the referee. During the match, Nick Comoroto shoves Billy Gunn into the ring post on the outside, but Austin and Colten Gunn jump out of the stands and go after him and Aaron Solow, removing them from ringside. After the match, Ogogo hands Marshall a wooden chair, but as Marshall is about to strike, "The Natural "Dustin Rhodes shows up and hits him with a bullrope before going to town. Anthony Ogogo gets on the apron, distracting Dustin, but Dustin sees Nick Comoroto coming and hits him in the head with the wooden chair. It has no effect, and referees have to stand between them before things get worse.

We hear from The Elite in their private trailer. Don Callis says there has never been such a collection of great challenge, and Matt Jackson says that they are the reason why business is up in Japan, why T-shirts are being sold and why All Elite Wrestling exists. Kenny Omega menionts that Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston may be back tonight, and Matt Jackson dares Moxley and Eddie to come to their trailer if they want a piece of them. As Omega speaks again, a horn can be heard repeatedly, and when The Elite looks to see what is going on, Moxley and Eddie are seen in a pick-up truck, and they broadside The Elite's trailer. Moxley and Eddie leave the truck and enter the trailer with Moxley carrying a pipe, but they find out that The Elite have escaped and call them cowards.

After the match, Scorpio Sky and "All Ego" Ethan Page rush into the ring and attack both men before centering on Darby Allin. Red Velvet beats Tesha Price.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews Shawn Spears and Tully Blanchard. Spears takes offense to his victory against Scorpio Sky controversial and threatens to knock his teeth down his throat, then says that there is no instant replay in wrestling and that he and Tully find the weakness in others and expose it for their benefit, which is something that happens in everyday life. Spears then says Scorpio Sky had his chance after taking the high road only to lose, and advises Scorpio that nice guys finish last in the wrestling business and that the distance one prepared to go - which he says Scorpio is not prepared to go - is what matters.

Lance Archer takes a downed Ariel Dominguez into the ring and slams him into the mat as Jake "The Snake" Roberts watches, then Jake says that he has always considered himself "an honest prick" before he and Archer brag about the damage that they have done to other people throughout their careers. She then welcomes her next guest: Tay Conti. Conti says her favorite competitors in the women's division besides herself and Anna Jay are Serena Deeb and Red Velvet, and says she hopes to face Hikaru Shida. Reba and Britt soon get their first mail call, which is from "Tony S. in Atlanta," asking Tay about her relationship status. ("Tony S." is an obvious shot at Tony Schiavone.) Tay says it's nobody's business, but Britt insists on asking. Tay makes it clear that it is nobody's business, and this leads to Reba intervening by bringing out The Acclaimed (Max Caster and Anthony Bowen), which leads to Caster performing for the crowd to close the segment out.

Suddenly, MJF and Wardlow show up, and MJF says that there was a little bit of tension between him and Jericho, then says he is glad that Jericho is on commentary tonight, as he will get a front row seat of him proving he belongs in The Inner Circle. Jericho tells MJF he is missing something in his "total package," and says taht MJF does not have the killer instinct and that he might be a bit soft and not as willing to do whatever it takes to win like they do. MJF tells Jericho to watch. Chris Jericho then guests on commentary for this week's show.

MJF and Wardlow beat The Inner Circle (Sammy Guevara and Ortiz) with The Salt of the Earth from MJF to Ortiz. During the match, Serpentico throws a steel chair at Sammy Guevara, then unmasks to reveal that he is really Jeff Hardy. MJF then puts Ortiz in The Salt of the Earth to get the win. After the match, MJF attacks Jericho at the announce table.

It is announced as per Tony Khan that if Jon Moxley and Eddie Kingston have any physicality tonight, their match for the AEW World Championship at Full Gear is cancelled.

In footage from earlier today, Tony Schiavone interviews Kenny Omega, who admits that he has relocated to Jacksonville, Florida temporarily to concentrate on the World Title Eliminator Tournament. Omega says that making it to the finals of the tournament on his own merits to face "Hangman" Adam Page is the only proper way to win the tournament, then asks the viewers who they have in the finals before saying he is destined to win the tournament and become the next AEW World Champion.

Before the next match, Miro interrupts Justin Roberts' ring announcing to tell Trent that the match is until he falls because he is stupid and ignorant and because his mother did not teach him any manners. This leads Trent to attack Miro before the bell rings.

Miro beats Trent with Game Over, then puts him back in the hold until Chuck Taylor runs in and attacks Miro. "Superbad" Kip Sabian gets in the ring and fights Taylor, hitting him with a drop kick in the corner before tossing him out of the ring. Miro then tells Trent that he has no manners because of his mother, then Orange Cassidy goes up top and hits both Miro and Sabian with a trust fall from the top rope. Sabian has to hold Miro back.

In footage from earlier today, Jim Ross interviews "Hangman" Adam Page, who says he feels so good to face Kenny Omega in the World Title Eliminator finals, as he has had a lot of time to think about the match and prepare for it, and says he will "whip his ass." Page says he knows all of Omega's moves and how to reverse them, but J.R. thinks that Page is nervous and not on his first whiskey. Page admits he is nervous, as does anybody who walks through the entrance tunnels, and while he may not have been the first AEW World Champion, this is the closest he has gotten since his match with Chris Jericho. He says that if he does not win tonight, he does not know what he will have other than a glass of whiskey.

We see a video package for The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) vs. FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) for the AEW World Tag Team Championships at Full Gear.

We hear from Taz, who says that for three hours, he sat outside Tony Khan's office to get two minutes of his time only to find out that Khan is busy with Full Gear. He then tells Tony Khan that he has forced him to come out with a live microphone, and mentions that "The Machine" Brian Cage is #1 on the singles rankings while "Absolute" Ricky Starks has won ten of the last eleven matches and is not even in the top five. Starks says he has hit every opportunity AEW has given him out of the park and proved why he is called "Absolute," and that he cannot figure out why he cannot even be ranked. He also wants to know why Team Taz (Cage and Starks) does not have a match at Full Gear, then Taz mentions "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes' match with Darby Allin for the AEW TNT Championship before saying that Cody and Allin are both spoiled, entitled and given whatever they want. Taz then tells Cody that Team Taz has done the work only to get worked, and guarantees there will be an FTW presence at Full Gear.

Sammy Guevara attacks Matt Hardy before the next match.

The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) beat Private Party (Marq Quen and Isiah Kassidy). After the match, The Young Bucks are attacked from behind by FTR (Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler) and Tully Blanchard, who force Nick Jackson to watch as they try to stomp on a chair wrapped around Matt Jackson's ankle in order to break it. Suddenly, "Hangman" Adam Page and Kenny Omega show up and make the save for The Young Bucks. Omega an Page fist bump as The Young Bucks further confront FTR, then have a conversation in the middle of the ring.

Eddie Kingston and Jon Moxley have their last face-to-face meeting before Full Gear. Kingston tells Moxley that he will destroy and ruin him before taking the AEW World Championship from him, as the World Championship is all that matters in professional wrestling. Kingston says he had to sell out and become everything he hated to get the title, and says there is no saving him as he takes the title from Moxley. Moxley takes the microphone and says that the longer he has been in the business, the more he has learned that loyality is a bitch, and while he has been burned time and time again, he never thought Kingston would burn him. He tells Kingston that he was happy for him and for his mother, to whom he promised that he would watch Kingston's back. He says that the loudest person in the building is the weakest, then says that after eighteen years, Kingston got the shot he never had, but at the same time, he knows he is going to lose and find out that he did not deserve it after all. He then mentions that Kingston made a promise to his mother that he cannot keep. Kingston tells Moxley to get ready to kill him on Saturday. As Kingston leave, Moxley tells Kingston that he will figure out that he is not the man he thought he was once he is alone with his ego, and that he will say "I quit."

We hear from PAC, who has not been seen on AEW programming in months. PAC says the funny thing about isolation is that you've got nobody to play with, and that he has been "a casaulty of this rotten world" for seven months. He says he has been lost and abandoned, but he has become more dangerous and obsessed with each passing day.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews The Natural Nightmares ("The Natural" Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall). As Dustin speaks, Allie shows up and thanks QT Marshall for the gifts before telling him that his cards are maxed out. Suddenly, Marshall and Dustin are attacked from behind by The Butcher and The Blade.

"The Native Beast" Nyla Rose beats Red Velvet with the Tamashi to send a message to Hikaru Shida, who is in the front row. After the match, Vicki Guerrero mocks Red Velvet for failing to be a winner before calling Brandi Rhodes "Chief Bullshit Officer." Vicki Guerrero then announces that Nyla Rosa will face Hikaru Shida for the AEW Women's Championship at Full Gear, then says Nyla Rose will break Shida and force her to surrender the title before telling her to enjoy her last three days as champion before mocking her. Shida grabs Vickie, causing Nyla to attack Shida, and Shida has to be held back.

The Gunn Club (Billy and Austin Gunn) and "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes beat The Dark Order (John "4" Silver, Preston "10" Vance and Colt Cabana). After the match, The Dark Order confronts The Gunn Club and Cody, and when John Silver tries to attack Cody and The Gunn Club from behind with a steel chair, Orange Cassidy shows up and stops Silver, hitting him with an Orange Punch. Cody then takes the microphone and says he does not like telling a story that is not true, but says that Darby Allin - who has watched the match from the upper balcony seats and is still watching from there now - has told people that TNT does not want them as their champion because he is too reckless. Cody says TNT would love someone like Allin as their champion, and if the situation was different, so would he, because he solely recruited him to AEW even when they were so unsure of Allin that Cody had to wrestle him himself. He tells Allin to look at the man who left the empire, went to war and actually won, then tells him that the truth that he speaks contradicts the lies a lot of people live. Cody says that Allin wants "the ace belt," but he is not the ace.

Kenny Omega beats Trent to a near-time limit draw.

Hikaru Shida beats the debuting Anna Jayy.

We see a video package chronicling the history Jake Hager's attack on Jon Moxley from AEW Dark. Moxley and Hager will square off in an Empty Arena No Holds Barred Match for the AEW World Championship in two weeks

Colt Cabana replaces "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes on commentary.

Before the next match, we see footage of Jake "The Snake" Roberts stating that Lance Archer is going to destroy whatever AEW has cooked up for him tonight and that AEW is only delaying the inevitable, as there are some people who should not be made mad. He feels that "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes is either smarter than he gave him credit for to be scared, or Brandi Rhodes - who is "wearing the pants" - is telling him not to go.

Lance Archer beats Marko Stunt in his AEW debut. Before the match - which begins and ends as a destructive blowout - Archer takes out a member of medical staff on his way to the ring. After the match, Archer throws Marko over the barricade and into two wrestlers sitting nearby.

We hear from Brodie Lee, who talks with The Dark Order as he welcomes the viewers to The Dark Order. He says that they know how everyone feels during these trying times, as he was once beaten down and downtrodden but is now The Exalted One. He asks a member of The Dark Order to stand next to him, and aggressively insists on being called "Mr. Brodie" before telling him to say "We are one." Another member yawns in his presence, and Brodie Lee chews him out for yawning in his presence, as tiredness shows weakness, and warns him not to yawn in his presence before telling him to leave the room. (This is supposedly another dig at Vince McMahon.)

The Natural Nightmares ("The Natural" Dustin Rhodes and QT Marshall) beat The Dark Order (8 and 9). After the match, Brodie Lee shows up, but instead of confronting The Natural Nightmare, he gets in the ring and powerbombs one member of The Dark Order in front of the other one.

We hear from Chris Jericho from the hot tub outside of his home, proclaiming that today is a holiday and that he has never met a bigger group of fools in his life than The Elite. As he makes fun of each member, Vanguard-1 approaches Chris Jericho's home. Jericho apologizes as only he can to Vanguard-1 for things he said to him last week, and offers the drone another chance at The Inner Circle, complete with a tiny Inner Circle shirt. Vanguard-1 then flies away, and Jericho unleashes a group of small dogs to chase after Vanguard-1.

Next week: Shawn Spears vs. "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes in the TNT Championship Tournament! In two weeks: Lance Archer vs. Colt Cabana in the TNT Championship Tournament!

We hear from The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson). Matt has brought a wrestling ring to Nick, who says that he has no memory of who attacked him backstage or even being in an ambulance before practicing in the ring. He says that it is hard to say when he will return, but he will get ready for an in-ring return until then, and that nothing can be taken for granted. When Matt asks Nick if he is ready to get back in the ring, Nick says "Not yet."

Sammy Guevara and Shawn Spears beat "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes and Darby Allin after Guevara brings a steel chain into the match for Shawn Spears. When Darby Allin takes it away from him, Guevara takes it from Darby Allin, allowing Spears to win the match for his team with a schoolkid pin to Allin. During the match, Guevara and Spears bet money on how long they can keep Darby Allin in a delayed vertical suplex, Cody Rhodes is attacked by a few wrestlers acting as audience members when he is thrown over the guardrail, and Darby Allin hits Guevara and Spears with a Coffin Drop off the top of a pole in the arena to the outside. After the match, Darby Allin violently shoves Cody to the mat.

Here are the top five moments from tonight's show!
