Raw Deal - Raw recap for March 31, 2025

John Cena heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Before he can say anything, he is soo joined by "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes. Cody soon gets the "Daddy Cool"-style chant, then Cody stops Cena before he can talk, says everyone has heard Cena talk for the last two weeks, then asks where they can start and where Cena can start making fun of him, whether it is his time as Stardust, his neck tattoo, being booed in AEW or grasping with the idea that "Superman is really dead," then says Cena's words have not matched his actions and that Cena has lied to the fans. He says that he knows Cena, even after having ridden with him at one point, and that he cared about the fans as well as him, then tells him to answer the question "Why?" Cena says he will not reduce himself and punch down to Cody's level just to protect him, and instead of "cooking" him, he will bury him like he buried everyone else. Cena says that everyone has accused him of burying talent, then says that he is talent and that he buries medocrity. He says he does not care about anything about Cody, saying Cody has manipulated his way to the top and that his ego has outlasted his ability, and all Cody has done is ride the coattails of his success, then says that he has been so great that WWE has handed the heartbeat of the company to his chauffeur. He calls Cody a slimy pickpocket who thinks he can run the kingdom because he stole the blueprint, and for that, Cody disgusts him. He calls Cody "undeniable but still underwhelming" and says he tried to drive it into his skull that he had to be authentic, as the pans can see through phoniness, yet Cody is too perfect, too polished and too rehearsed, and he relies on lazy gimmicks to get by. Cena says that Cody is just like the Pied Piper, as all he has done is find a way to make a catchy tune trick everyone into loving mediocrity; without his music and entrance, there is not much to look at except a thick pinstripe suit. Cena says that Cody could walk him out here in silence and he could still body him before his first breath, then states Cody is nothing like him and also nothing like himself, as he is afraid to show who he is; instead, we get a generic mix of every Superstar that Cody has ever loved or TV show he has ever watched into one huge blob that makes him look like a sixteen-year-old taking acting lessons yet is still afraid of public speaking. Cena tells Cody that the one thing he has shown is that someone mediocre wearing something meaningful is enough these days to trick the fans, that he has worked too hard to make the suit a symbol of mastery only for "a paint-by-numbers, sociopathic nepo baby" who is so into himself that he had his wrestling gimmick tattooed for the world to see parading around in it, and that Cody's tattoo exposes himself as a common fan. He says that after WrestleMania, it will be great for Cody to buy the toy belt that the fans buy and become their champion, as he will take the real championship home while Cody is exposed as "an errand boy who got lucky." Cody says Cena may be right and that he may be chosen, but he was chosen by the fans and asks Cena if he can say the same before asking if it was really "one guy in an office who is not here anymore who we do not talk about." Cody says that he is a professional wrestler like his father before him, and if anyone is "a company creation," it is Cena and not him. He also says he does not fear Cena because "[he] has more dick in [his] promos than [he does] in [his] jorts," and while Cena wants to mock his appearance, he "hangs out with Zac Efron and wishes he was sixteen." He says Cena has thrown a softball, saying that Cena only created a lot of disenfranchised fans who made it easy for him to pack up and go elsewhere, and that Cena did not leave WWE better than he found it. He says two of them are in the ring, but between the two of them, only one of them sold out to The Rock. Cody says Cena is still his hero, but he is also "a piece of shit." Cena says that just like all the fans, Cody's mind is "full of feces, but not facts," and that he has worked a hundred time harder than Cody and that not once was he protected from an audience or a Superstar, present company included, taking their best shot at him, and that every time he steps into the ring, it is a challenge to every arena to every Superstar dumb enough to walk up that ramp and take their strongest swing at him to see if they are worthy of putting him int he ground, and that no one has been worthy, so he has decided to do it himself. Cena says he has never left and has always been here, because no matter what, he finds a way to make it great, while Cody had to leave because he realized that at best, he could not wipe his ass. Cena says he makes empires for billionaires while Cody steals money from their kids, then tells Cody he will see him at WrestleMania. Cody reminds Cena as he leaves that the whole time he has been here, not once has an audience told him "You can't wrestle." Cena gets back in the ring, and both men have a brief standoff before Cena smirks, pretends to turn away, and goes for a cheap shot only for Cody to grab him for the Cross Rhodes and hit him with it.

Gunther taunts Jey with the World Heavyweight Championship, saying this is as close as he will get to it because he is out of his league, then hits Jimmy Uso with it when Jimmy tries to get back in the ring. Jimmy is busted open when he tries to get back in the ring again, and Gunther grabs Jimmy and starts beating him down again before tossing him to Jey, kicking Jey away from Jimmy and putting Jimmy in another sleeper hold while Jey is forced to watch from just inches away. Officials get in the ring, and Gunther lets go before celebrating what he has done.

He then calls Logan out, telling him that if he has anything to say to his face, then he had better say it now. Logan Paul shows up and says Styles would not understand, as nobody has the fame and good looks that he has, and that everyone is on his time. As he says this, he is being booed out of the building, and Logan says that if he wants everyone to wait, they will do as they are told because they are sheep. Logan then says he has had a change of heart about Styles as the fans tell him to "shut the fuck up," as he is "a girl dad" now and he is trying to teach his daughter the art of forgiveness, and that he forgives what he did to him at Madison Square Garden, but he does not forget. Styles says he has a daughter and that he forgives Logan Paul for "being the biggest douchebag to ever step foot in a WWE ring." He says Logan brags about his success and his money when the fans only care about what Logan is willing to sacrifice in the ring for them, and that while Logan has all the talent in the world, talent will only get him so far. He then asks Logan what he will do with that talent. Logan says he would ask Styles for advice, but he does not take advice from anyone he does not want to trade places with. Styles tells Logan not to let his mouth write a check that his ass cannot cash, which Logan takes as a threat before stating that he is done talking and that he does not fight for free as London, England cannot afford him and after Styles states that he already has his gear on. Logan then says Styles wants a big money match with him, then tells him to set his sights on WrestleMania before going for a cheap shot. Styles catches the attempted kick to the gut and goes for Styles Clash only for Logan to escape. Styles and Logan go at it on the outside, but when Styles goes for a Phenomenal Forearm, Logan crotches him with the middle rope before planting him with a Paulveriser in the middle of the ring.

Let's Go! - LFG recap for March 30, 2025

Shawn Michaels meets with the Legends and Future Greats and introduces Gunther. Bubba Ray Dudley mentions that as soon as Gunther walked in, the mood changed. Gunther meets with the Future Greats. Tatyanna mentions that Gunther is the one person who has made her heart beat out of her chest. Gunther sees potential in both Tyra Mae Steele and Jasper Troy, then tells everyone that he wants to see passion. Meanwhile, Bubba Ray knows he has zero points, and while part of him has faith in his team, part of him feels screwed. Afterwards, Gunther speaks with the Legends, and the four Legends name who they see as bad-asses and serious and who has yet to show a darker side when it comes to making the matches.

Dani is checked on by WWE medical for her back injury. She admits she is not at 100%, but at the same time, she does not want to avoid getting in the ring, and from here, it is a wait-and-see situation. Meanwhile, the Legends meet with the Future Greats. Both Gunther and The Legends want to see toughness and grit from everyone, especially Bully Ray, who wants to see toughness and grit out of Zena. Gunther wants Tyra Mae to prove that she is a killer and test Zena's passion, and that - much like Bubba Ray - he does not want to see smiling and laughing.

Shiloh Hill beats Troy Yearwood. Mickie James admits she did not get to see the rough side of Yearwood, and while he performed well athletically, there was not much emotion. Booker T agrees, and says Yearwood has a lot of work to do, as the two of them were waiting for the beast to come out. Bubba Ray Dudley says he did not see passion and urgency, and that nice will not get someone over in the business. He tells them to find something that pisses them off, tap into it, and let loose in the ring, to which Gunther agrees.

Tyra Mae Steele beats Zena Sterling. Bubba Ray says that the Legends saw a different side of Zena today, and saw passion and urgency in her side headlock. Booker says Zena showed more today than in earlier weeks. Mickie James takes issue with Zena's gear, stating that while she likes her gear, it still looks like "jazzed up lingerie." The Undertaker feels that Tyra Mae did answer the call, and that this was not her best performance. He says she has an arsenal of moves inside of her that makes her legit, yet she reverts back to the ABC's of professional wrestling, and she will need to learn how to set herself apart and apply her skill set to professional wrestling. Gunther says that Tyra Mae showed she was a killer, but it was before and after the match and not during the match, and that she needs to be dominant and aggressive enough to get her to step up. Booker T agrees with The Undertaker, saying she has a plethora moves but needs to know what to do with the moves. Tyra Mae feels disappointed, but takes offense to Bubba Ray saying she smiles too much. She mentions that he is usually happy-go-lucky, but she says she is happy for the opportunities that she has had. She says she has had people in her family who have died and cannot smile, and that she smiles for them. She also says that the people who have the biggest smiles have the deepest scars, and to tell her to stop smiling is to tell her to kill herself.

Cutler James beats Jasper Troy. Booker T praises both men, and says that Jasper brought some aggression even thought the psychology could have been better. Mickie says that their match was a fight, but recommends ripping the shirt off before chopping Jasper. Gunther says that Jasper should not be so emotional. Bubba Ray says Cutler continues to take steps forward, albeit small ones, but he did not see enough of the badass that he wanted to see. The Undertaker says they understood the assignment, and that he really saw two men struggling in the ring.

Bayley Humphrey beats Leigh Laurel by submission with the head vice. The Undertaker is happy with what Bayley did in only her second match, and Gunther tells Laurel that she needs to learn how to make herself look good first before doing the same for her opponent. Bubba Ray says that Bayley does not have command of her own body despite having only been in two matches, and Mickie James says that Bayley's experience as a base in acrobatics and tumbling may be holding Bayley back.

The points are awarded. Gunther says the women did better than the men, and gives a point to Zena, putting Bubba Ray on the board at last. Zena says she got out of her comfort zone and was rewarded for being uncomfortable. He says that he will not award the point to Jasper Troy, since things get to him way too much and seems to take criticism personally. He gives the point to Shiloh, saying he did what he could to the best of his ability. Booker feels Jasper not only deserved the point, but earned it. Team Undertaker leads with five points, Team Booker has four points, Team Mickie has two points, and Team Bubba Ray is finally on the board with one point. Bubba Ray meets with Zena and tells her that she earned the handshake, which he gives her. Mickie feels that her team needs to take things seriously. Booker T says he is the underdog and is willing to take the hand that he has been dealt and get things done. The Undertaker says he does not want any doubt, and while today was not Shiloh's best effort, he knows he can do it. He says Jasper has an incredible future ahead of him, but he takes things personally. Gunther meets with Jasper and says there is nothing personal and that it is all business.

The next day, Booker T meets with Jasper Troy outside of the Performance Center. Booker tells Jasper that he cannot let his emotions get in the way, which screwed them out of a point, and that they have to step on some toes to get things done.

He looks forward to Willow Nightingale and Shafir tearing each other apart, then admits Swerve Strickland talked a really big game and that he will have to back it up. Robyn helps Mercedes up, and she ends up the victim of the Oh Face.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Queen Aminata, who is not cleared to compete tonight and will be replaced in tonight's main event by Billie Starkz. Serena Deeb says that this was preventable, and that she had the game plan, yet Aminata did not listen to her. She says that every time Aminata listens to her, she wins, but when she does not, she loses and even gets injured. Aminata tells Serena that she is not listening to her "trash," and Serena says that while she respects her decision, she knows she is right, then hands her the binder that she has been carrying around for some "light reading."

Jamie then declares for the women's Owen Hart Tournament, and that she will leave All In Texas as a champion.

Undisputed Kingdom (Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, Roderick Strong) heads to the ring. Shortly afterwards, Daniel Garcia arrives with "Daddy Magic" Matt Menard and heads to the ring for his face-to-face meeting with Adam Cole. Adam Cole says tensions have been high, but he still has all the respect in the world for Daniel Garcia, calling their last two matches two of the hardest in his career and Garcia "the future of AEW" and "a fighting champion." He says that in their last match, neither of them got the job done, and that this needs to end with one man proving that they are better than the other, and Adam Cole says it is him. After Cole says that they must finish this fight, Daniel Garcia says that he has been in the ring with him for almost two months straight and that it eats him alive that he cannot beat him. Daddy Magic asks Daniel Garcia how many opportunities Cole is going to get, as it is his job to beat him, and that he does not have to do this. Garcia says he does not have to do this, but he wants to, and is down for a rematch. Roderick Strong agrees with Cole saying that Garcia is the future of AEW, but says Garcia is "not there yet." Daddy Magic takes offense to this, then Garcia says he has had enough of the noise and the distraction, then declares there will be no seconds at ringside in the rematch. He says there will be no seconds and no time limit at Dynasty, and this time, there will be a winner, and it will be him.

Backstage, we hear from Athena and Billie Starkz. Athena says that if Mercedes Moné wants to be "a passive-aggressive bitch," then she will eat the floor, and warns her to keep her and Billie's names out of their mouths. She then calls Mercedes an inspiration for collecting champions, then declares for the women's Owen Hart Tournament. Athena then mentions that Billie Starkz has a match tonight with Jamie Hayter and tells her that she will be watching very closely.

Backstage, Alicia Atout interviews The Patriarchy (Kip Sabian, Nick Wayne and Mother Wayne) when The Cru (Lio Rush and Action Andretti) shows up, asking Nick Wayne what is going on with "[his] boy" AR Fox. Wayne says he is not associated with him, but they mention AR Fox nearly laying waste to him before he joined The Patriarchy. Nick Wayne says that The Cru want a helping hand because they cannot get the job done, and while Nick Wayne says he is done with AR Fox, Sabian says they should hear them out. Lio Rush says that when it comes to AR Fox, nobody knows him better than Nick Wayne.

Hologram beats Blake Christian and extends his undefeated streak to 22-0.

Backstage, Lexy Nair interviews Thunder Rosa and Kris Statlander, who are in the women's Owen Hart Tournament. Kris Statlander says she is a different person than she was a year ago, but promises that nobody can stop her. Thunder Rosa says it will be different if she faces her, as she never lost the AEW Women's World Championship and has not won another since, and that she will win it back after the Owen Hart Tournament. Statlander says that will not happen if she faces her. The two of them subsequently look forward to facing each other in the tournament.

Layin' da SmackDown - SmackDown recap for March 28, 2025

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Cody gets the "Daddy Cool"-style chant, then states that at WrestleMania 41, he will face John Cena - who gets booed - as he tries to break the record and win his 17th world championship, but in a few nights, he will be face-to-face with Cena. Suddenly, Randy Orton shows up and heads to the ring, and admits that while he is not the sentimental type, he will make an exception for London, England. He compares Cody now to when Cody was in his early 20s working to break into the business. He mentions that Cody was more frustrated than happy because he could not grow in a WWE, and that it took courage to leave WWE to strike out on his own, change the industry, and come back. Orton says Cody is the same guy, yet Cody did what he set out to do. Cody, who is about to break down into tears of accomplishment, gets the "Daddy Cool"-style chant, then Orton recalls Cody's return match in Hell in a Cell against Seth "Freakin'" Rollins and his subsequent accomplishments. Orton then says there is another story, as Cody is in charge of his legacy and business is bigger than ever because of him. He then says that he is very proud of Cody, but it is time for WrestleMania. Orton says he will kick Kevin Owens so hard in the head that he can feel it already, while Cody will enter and leave WrestleMania as champion before beating John Cena all over the Las Vegas strip. He then proclaims that after the smoke clears, he will want to go after his fifteenth world championship, but instead of kicking Cody in the balls like some coward, he will look him in the eyes, consider him an equal, and challenge for the title. Suddenly, Drew McIntyre shows up and calls Orton and Cody "a couple of nepo babies having a lovefest," which he says makes him sick, then asks Orton what he has done to justify getting a title match. He says more people talk about Orton being on the shelf for months upon months more than his World Heavyweight Championship match, then says Cody should have listened to him, but shunned and ignored him, and Cena proved him right. He says he should be in the main event, not Cena, but it is not because of Damian Priest. McIntyre then gets the "Seven Nation Army"-style chant as he says he will be the one to take the title at WrestleMania. He says that Kevin Owens might have a point and while Randy Orton looks great on the outside, his back is hanging by a thread on the inside, and he will break it if provoked. We hear from Naomi. She says she always does the right thing, and that attacking Jade Cargill was no different from doing that. She says that after all she has done and sacrificed, she happens to be the bad person in the situation. She asks how Jade comes in out of nowhere and takes her place with Bianca and wants Bianca to ask herself who inspired her over the last decade and always had her back since day one. Naomi says that one teaches others how to be treated, and that she is done being treated as a third wheel and being too nice, set aside and underappreciated, and moving forward, if Bianca continues to be in her way, she should proceed with caution.

Backstage, General Manager Nick Aldis meets with Jade Cargill, who says that it is "on sight" if she sees Naomi. As she leaves, she runs into Michin and B-Fab, who know that Jade will take care of business as Naomi deserves everything coming to her.

He then heads out to the pub, but gets beaten up by Damian Priest. When Priest headbutts McIntyre into the back of a BMW convertible, the driver comes out of the car to object to this only for Priest to toss him around. McIntyre strikes back, but Priest takes McIntyre South of Heaven into the front windshield.

CM Punk is heading to the ring with security guards behind him when he sees Drew McIntyre down on the hood of the convertible and simply laughs at him.

General Manager Nick Aldis is in the ring to oversee the contract signing for Seth "Freakin'" Rollins vs. CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 41. Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman are the first to show up, with security behind them. Roman gets the "Daddy Cool"-style chant before he demands that the crowd acknowledge him. Heyman wipes down a chair for Roman after placing it at the head of the table. Roman admires the "Daddy Cool"-style chants, calling them beautiful, and even lets Heyman join in on the microphone before saying he is here for two reasons: to be acknowledged and to sign the contract, which he does. Shortly after Roman signs the contract, Seth "Freakin'" Rollins shows up, with security also behind him. Shortly after Roman signs the contract, Seth "Freakin'" Rollins shows up, with security also behind him. Rollins also takes a seat, and Heyman does not partake in the sing-along for Rollins' entrance theme. Rollins talks about his history with Roman in London, England when they were both part of The Shield and beating The Undertaker, and while a lot has happened in the last twelve years, he and Roman have accomplished their mission to change the industry. Roman says "we" died a long time ago, and it is just "me." He says Rollins has been here, but he has made WWE what it is today and took them both to the level they are at today and left WWE better than he found it. Rollins says the "me" mindset is why he has to keep screwing Roman, especially after he let "the snake" CM Punk back in the garden, and when he could have cut his head off, he shook his hand, and he has to clean up his mess again like he always does. Rollins signs the contract, then CM Punk shows and heads to the ring. He, too, has security guards behind him. Punk says he has come here to chew bubble gum and sign a contract, and he is all out of bubble gum. He takes the remaining seat and browses the contract. Roman gets impatient and tells him to read "Page 4, Clause 5." Roman tells Heyman to smarten Punk up, and Heyman says to Punk "I know what you're looking for, and it's in there...you're closing the show at WrestleMania." He then tells Punk that he gets to live his dream of main eventing WrestleMania. Roman loves the sound of this, and Rollins tells Punk to take the tears out of his eyes as he furiously states that Punk does not deserve it. He considers the main event sacred and blames Roman and Punk for this and throws his microphone down. CM Punk thanks the world and the fans who stood by him and chanted his name for ten long years before starting a hole at Rollins, and Roman tells Punk he should be thanking him, as he is in the main event because of him. Roman demands a thank you and an acknowledgement to end everything in what he deems "the right way," and Punk thanks Roman and acknowledges him for the WrestleMania main event and says he will see him in the main event of WrestleMania. Punk signs the contract, then says that this is not the favor he is owed. The show then fades to black.

Saints says that some people in NXT had a head-start, but started upping their game when he showed up He says confidence scares people and that the locker room's reaction is nothing new. Saints talks about having to live out of his car during his career and how all he had was self-confidence that things would get better, and that this self-confidence has brought him to NXT. Shawn Spears interrupts and takes over the interview and mentions their history, then says that he is not the self-confident person he thinks he is and that he is tired of talking him off the metaphorical ledge. Saints says that you cannot succeed without making a few enemies, then challenges for the North American title. The rest of The Culling (Brooks Jensen, Niko Vance, Izzi Dame) then show up, and Shawn Spears leaves with them after stating that Saints has burnt all of his other bridges. Backstage, Wes Lee, Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe have been watching, and Wes Lee says that Saints will learn that he is the man around here. Meanwhile, Kale Dixon and Uriah Connors mention that Starks took a page from "All Ego" Ethan Page, which irritates Ethan Page. This leads to Ethan being challenged by Andre Chase.

We then hear from Hank Walker and Tank Ledger, who get some motivation from The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley).

Tyson Dupont and Tyriek Igwe beat Hank Walker and Tank Ledger after Wes Lee distracts the referee.

Backstage, Stephanie Vaquer tells General Manager Ava that she will keep her word as a double champion and defend the Women's North American Championship against Fallon Henley.

Backstage, Sarah Schreiber interviews Nathan Frazer and Axiom. Axiom calls his match with Gunther in Spain in front of friends and family a dream come true that he will never forget. As Axiom says he kept the match a surprise from Frazer, Axiom sees Oba Femi on the nearby monitor and notes that he is angry before running away. Frazer notices that Axiom is gone as soon as he turns back towards where Axiom was standing.

Lexis King retains the NXT Heritage Cup Championship against Je'Von Evans by count-out after Oba Femi shows up and powerbombs Je'Von on the ring apron. After the match, Darkstate shows up. Oba Femi and Je'Von Evans brawl, then Trick Williams shows up and accidentally hits Je'Von with the Trick Shot. Officials and security stand between Trick and Oba, and Darkstate enjoy the chaos that they see.

Gigi Dolin and Tatum Paxley beat Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson. Sol Ruca and Zaria show up soon after the match begins to get a closer look from ringside.

Tony D'Angelo meets with the rest of his family (Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Luca Crusifino, Adrianne Rizzo) at the restaurant. D'Angelo wants to know everything about The Culling (Shawn Spears, Brooks Jensen, Niko Vance, Izzi Dame) then meets with Stacks privately. D'Angelo and Stacks talk about their history, then says that he believes in him and can trust him. Stacks tells D'Angelo that he can always trust him.

Hank Walker and Tank Ledger meet with The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley), who tell them that they did great and have the potential to be future champions, and that there is "short term pain for long term gain." They tell them that no two paths to the top are the same, that they should trust their partner, that there is no need to compare themselves to others, and that they will get there.

Ricky Saints guests on commentary for the next match.

"All Ego" Ethan Page beats Andre Chase. After the match, Ricky Saints confronts Ethan Page, but he is attacked from out of nowhere by Shawn Spears.

We see video footage of Darkstate bragging about their actions tonight.

Backstage, Trick Williams calls Je'Von Evans "collateral damage" and "a distraction" like Eddy Thorpe, then says that he is the man around here and that he should be NXT Champion. He then says that Oba Femi knows where to find him next week, then says Darkstate is not his business.

Stephanie Vaquer retains the NXT Women's North American Championship against Fallon Henley after shoving Fallon into Jazmyn Nyx to knock Jazmyn off the apron before hitting the STB. After the match, Fatal Influence attacks Vaquer again, but Jordynne Grace appears again and makes the save. She then hands both of Vaquer's championships back to her, but not before playing tug-of-war with the NXT Women's title. Suddenly, Jaida Parker shows up and shoves Jordynne into Vaquer, but gets dropped by Jordynne. Jordynne and Vaquer then have a staredown to end the show. Backstage, the entire women's division tells General Manager Ava that they want a piece of Stephanie Vaquer.

Raw Deal - Raw recap for March 24, 2025

John Cena heads to the ring to start tonight's show. He says the crowd is ready to do their worst as they have understood what is going on and that the spotlight is on them, and that he can rip any of the fans to shreds. Cena says no one in safe, especially after he put a clueless kid on blast, but when WWE posted it, everyone loved it. This leads to a "Fuck you, Cena!" chant, then asks who is worse, him - the one guy who always tells the truth - or the fans, whose best idea is to use profanity as they love to watch and rewatch and meme a young kid getting destroyed. He says he does not need to single anyone here out as they are all horrible people, and tonight, they get to fnd out how he will make them pay for the abuse they have put him through. He says that for 25 years, he has listened to the fans' lies and noise, but he did not waste that time being mean and instead, he paid attention. This leads to a "Shut the fuck up!" chant from the crowd. Cena says the fans make this so easy and that they were chanting profanity at the top of their lungs, he was paying attention to the fans, studying, quizzing, testing, prodding and even rewarding them for playing around with their curse-ridden nursery rhymes, and in doing so, they have told him every single thing about themselves. He says the fans know nothing about him and that he knows more about the fans than they do, and proclaims that they all have sad lives and that this is all they have. To him, the fans have been nothing more than an experiment and "rats in a cage," and asks the fans to pick any moment from his career so he can reveral what he learned about them. He says that when he bled, the fans thought he was tough; when he spoke, they were inspired; when he was edgy, they were excited; when he was vanilla, they were bored; when he was loyal, they were loved; when he was selfish, they were disrespected; when he would speak in rhythmic tones, they chanted "What?" Cena says the fans will always tell everything about themselves because they desperately want to matter, and the most important thing they told him was in April 2005, when he gave the fans the "spinner belt," and just like now, they ate him alive and told him how stupid he was for turning the WWE Championship into a toy; he states it is not a toy, but a symbol of the center of WWE, and it disrespected tradition as well as the fans' legacy. He says this was the biggest mistake the fans ever made, as they told him what meant the most to them in their lives, and for that, he will ruin wrestling for every fan, for every wrestler, and for everyone. He says that at WrestleMania, he will make history by winning a 17th championship, and he will finally force everyone to forget "The Nature Boy" Ric Flair's name and say the name "John Cena." He also says that he will win the championship - the center of every Superstar in the business and every fan in the building - and retire with it, and take it home with him and leave the fans to create their own "toy belt." Cena proclaims that he will become the last real champion in WWE, and says that revenge is best served cold, and that he will pay the fans back by ripping their collective heart out and forcing them to watch as he walks away with the fans' memories, traditions and dreams with nothing they can do to stop him. "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes shows up and gets the "Daddy Cool"-style chant, then reminds Cena that he has to take the Undisputed WWE Championship away from him first. Cody says he made a mistake bringing up "the new John" and that Cena is clearly angry and willing, and is the most dangerous he has ever been. He says that Cena made the biggest mistake was in not hitting him with the WWE Championship at Elimination Chamber, but in saying what he just said while in the building. Cody says that they do not have to unpack their history, and that he has fought hard and violently just to hold the WWE Championship one time just to validate one name, and yet Cena satates that the timeline of all of professional wrestling hangs in the balance because of his vanity. He lays the WWE Championship between them, then gives Cena the opportunity to take the title from him. Both men have a stand-off in the middle of hte ring, then Cena walks away and heads to the back. When Cody screams at him, Cena teases heading back to the ring, but leaves again. Cody says he cannot have this on his consciousness, and that he needs Cena to see him and the fans and understand that his psychotic need to take the WWE Championship does not outweigh their right to keep it. He says the champion in standing in the center of the ring, not in the entryway, and to see Cena walking away empty-handed now is how Cena will walk away from WrestleMania and WWE.

The Usos ("Main Event" Jey Uso and Jimmy Uso) beat A-Town Down Under (Grayson Waller and Austin Theory) in their first tag team match in a year and a half, when they beat Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa at WrestleMania 39. After the match, Gunther shoves Jimmy Uso out of the ring, then brawls with Jey. Jey goes for a Spear, but Jey trips, and Gunther jumps onto Jey and rains down elbows on him until Jimmy chases him away with a metal folding chair.

Backstage, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez entertain the idea of Raquel as a double champion when "Dirty" Dominik and Carlito show up. Dominik says things did not go well with Finn Balor again, and Liv Morgan says Finn Balor blames everyone for all his problems. Liv says that things will get better soon, then Carlito entertains the idea of challenging for the WWE Intercontinental Championship before Liv counters Finn not wanting Penta in The Judgment Day (Finn, Dominik, Carlito, Liv, Raquel) by saying Finn did not want Liv in the group only for things to turn out well.

We see a vignette for "El Grande Americano," who hails from "the Gulf of America" and was raised to be the ultimate luchador and reach the top of the industry, and for decades, was the face of lucha libre until he was black-balled by his jealous enemies and he disappeared without a trace. Now, the legend has returned to bring honor and glory to lucha libre. (The vignette is also noticably AI-generated.) Backstage, General Manager Adam Pearce, Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee have seen the vignette, and "El Grande Americano" is the newest member of the Raw roster. Chad Gable shows up coughing with a tissue in his hand to insist that he is not El Grande Americano, even though they both have some physical similarities. He produces a legitimate doctor's note to Adam Pearce and says he cannot compete tonight, and proposes that Dragon Lee face El Grande Americano. Dragon Lee says he will take the match, then he and Rey leave as Rey tells Gable "You're a real jackass."

Actor Richard Gadd is seen in the crowd.

Lyra Valkyria retains the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship against Raquel Rodriguez after making Liv Morgan pay for putting Raquel's foot on the bottom rope during a pinfall attempt and reversing the Tejana Bomb with a Victory Roll. After the match, Liv attacks Lyra from behind, and Raquel joins in. Bayley soon runs into the ring to make the save, and she and Lyra soon clean house.

It is announced that The Natural Disasters (Earthquake and Typhoon) will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025.

Backstage, Jimmy Uso meets with "Main Event" Jey Uso and says that Jey has been in his own head since last week and that if he keeps slipping like he has since last week, he will not win at WrestleMania. Jey says he does not know if he can beat Gunther, but Jimmy says it is "not this Uce" and that he needs "The Right Hand Man" and the man who won the Royal Rumble. Jimmy then sees Gunther and challenges him to a match next week. Gunther accepts as long as he does not trip and fall like his brother, and Jimmy responds by slapping Jimmy in the face. Gunther smiles after Jimmy leaves.

General Manager Adam Pearce is in the ring with the contract for the Women's World Championship match between Bianca Belair and Iyo Sky at WrestleMania, which also contains Rhea Ripley's signature. He assures that Rhea Ripley is not in the match, and Ripley's signature means nothing as she already has a rematch while Bianca has earned the right to be called #1 contender. He says that Rhea will not earn her title shot on her own time before Iyo Sky shows up and says she does not care about contracts, and that it does not matter who she faces, as she will take on both of them because she is Women's World Champion. As Adam Pearce asks Iyo Sky to hear him out, Bianca shows up and says Pearce is right in confirming she earned her championship opportunity at WrestleMania, and she is not about to let Rhea Ripley headbutther way into the match, saying that if she did not earn it, she does not deserve it. Rhea Ripley shows up and says she does not give a damn about WrestleMania and that she does not care who she has to go through to get her title back; all she wants is her rematch. Bianca tells Ripley to wait three more weeks to get her rematch, and Ripley shoves Iyo Sky to the side. Pearce has to hold Iyo Sky back as he angrily announces that Ripley will get her rematch next week, with the winner facing Bianca at WrestleMania, and then leaves. The three women then brawl, and Bianca comes out on top.

Backstage, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio meets with Penta, saying he knows he is good and could be better, and offers him a spot in The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Dominik, Carlito, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez).

We see a vignette for The War Raiders (Ivar and Erik).

Backstage, The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) meet with General Manager Adam Pearce demanding a tag team title match at WrestleMania, and do not get it, being told to come back when they are ready to prove they are the greatest tag team in the world. The New Day leave, then Bianca shows up wanting to know who her WrestleMania opponent is, and finds out that she will be the special guest referee for Rhea Ripley vs. Iyo Sky for the Women's World Championship.

El Grande Americano beats Dragon Lee by submission with an ankle lock after ripping Dragon Lee's mask off and pulling him off the top rope. Dragon Lee is forced to submit to hide his true, unmasked identity.

CM Punk heads to the ring. Punk says that while he is happy to be in Glasgow, Scotland, he is not in a good mood. While he has a match at WrestleMania, it is not initially what he wanted. He addresses what has been going on since Royal Rumble with Seth "Freakin'" Rollins and Roman Reigns, and says that the two men who are keeping him away from what he wants have to go. He says Rollins takes him as a threat to his own career, and that Roman is taking things personally now that Paul Heyman is not just his wise man anymore. He says things that are personal to them is business to him, and announces a contract signing for their WrestleMania match before stating that he wants to read the fine print and see if it either gets him what he wants or is "another rug pull from the powers that be." He tells Roman and Rollins to fuel up the jets since they could not grace the fans with their presence in Glasgow, and that he will see them in London, England. He also warns them that neither of them have beaten him without the others' help because they cannot, and that he brought them into the business and cannot wait to be the man who takes them both out of it.

We see an Instagram video from Logan Paul, who says that he is praying for "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles' downfall and that he wants to see Styles next week.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Bron Breakker. Breakker says that The Judgment Day (Finn Balor, Dominik, Carlito, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez) is Penta's business and that he will beat Penta in the center of the ring and retain the WWE Intercontinental Championship "because the dogs are barkin' in Glasgow [, Scotland]."

Bron Breakker retains the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Penta by disqualification. During the match, "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio and Carlito show up to stand in Penta's corner. Near the end of the match, Dominik distracts the referee so that Carlito can get involved, but Carlito eats a Spear. Dominik then hits Bron Breakker with a chop block, which ends the match. After the match, Breakker and Dominik brawl until Finn Balor shows up and hits Breakker with a metal folding chair before handing it to Dominik so that he can finish the job and join in on the beatdown. All the while, Penta has no idea what happened. All of a sudden, Dominik hands Penta the chair and tells him to hit Breakker, but he throws it at Dominik and superkicks it into Dominik's head instead. Finn Balor then assaults Penta before hitting Breakker with a metal folding chair and nailing Penta with the Coup de Grace.
