Giulia heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Giulia delcares that she is Iron Survivor and that she will do what she came her to do: become the NXT Women's Champion. Roxanne congratulates Giulia and says she is lucky, then says Giulia is not on her level. While she gives the women's division credit where credit is due, Roxanne says that she has beaten Giulia before and will do it again. She then says this assumes that Giulia even makes it, and while Giulia wants to face Roxanne right now, Cora Jade shows up and reveals that she and attacked attacked Stephanie Vaquer backstage. Giulia attacks Roxanne, but Cora attacks her with her black shinai from behind. As Roxanne and Cora go further on the attack, then Kelani Jordan runs into the ring and fights Cora Jade, making the save for Giulia.

Backstage, everyone looks at "All Ego" Ethan Page's post-match promo from Deadline, then The D'Angelo Family (Tony D'Angelo, Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo, Luca Crusifino, Adrianna Rizzo) meets with Ethan Page. Ethan says he does not know how to get back to the top of NXT, and when Tony D'Angelo offers Ethan a shot at the North American title, Ethan calls the title "a step down." Tony D'Angelo then makes the title first come, first serve, and immediately, Ethan changes his mind as everyone surrounds D'Angelo.

He says that he and Trick Williams have not crossed paths yet due to their individual paths, then says it is time to see who the real top guy is. Trick shows up, but all of a sudden, Eddy Thorpe also appears and says this is not happening, as he will not ignore Oba Femi attacking him and that he and his people had enough. Oba tells Thorpe to shut his mouth, as he is making some very bold accusation, and asks Thorpe if he saw him attack him. Thorpe says he was attacked from behind and that only one man had that kind of power. Trick says he has been where Oba Femi has been and that they will collide for New Years' Evil. He says he is glad Oba Femi is here, as a title reign is not defined by its length but by who the champion beats during that reign. Oba says the only reason Trick has been the number one guy around is because he let him, and that Trick only had his era because he allowed it. He says that when he was ready, he would take the NXT Championship easily, then looks at Thorpe as he says he and Trick have a date with destiny and that Trick's era will end. Oba leaves, then Thorpe gets in Trick's way and demands a title shot, saying he thought Trick as a man of the people but is really "a manufactured sports entertainer." Thorpe says Trick would not last two weeks in the Japanese dojos he came up in, and as Thorpe questions Trick's pre-WWE resumé, Trick tells him to shut up, as he has silenced his doubters and that Thorpe cannot take his title. He gives Thorpe his title shot next, tells General Manager Ava to set it up, then knocks Thorpe out.

Tony D'Angelo retains the NXT North American Championship against "All Ego" Ethan Page.

Backstage, Lexis King talks with Ryan Leaf. Both men consider each other inspirations, and Ryan says he cannot wait to see what came from Lexis next. Lexis thanks him for the inspiration when Charlie Dempsey tells Lexis he will have his title shot in two weeks on the premise that they have a workout first. Lexis accepts.

Backstage, "All Ego" Ethan Page says he is better than this and knows it, and that he has lost his way. He says he is all ego, but in reality, he does not think he is. He says he cannot win the North American title and cannot get back to the NXT title, and that he is lost and ashamed.

Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade beat Giulia and Kelani Jordan after Giulia and Kelani brawl their way to the back. After the match, Stephanie Vaquer's music hits, but Vaquer shows up from behind Cora to beat and break her black shinai before chasing her into the crowd.

Finn says Gunther should have given him the title match, but he gave it to Dominik instead, then says he is the only reason Gunther is World Heavyweight Champion right now. He also says that Gunther is right about Saturday Night's Main Event being different from Survivor Series because he will take the title from him and become a world champion for the first time in eight years. Gunther says Finn did not earn a title shot on Saturday and that he knows Finn is frustrated, as he looked up to him and respected him eight years, but that respect faded away as soon as Finn Balor cut corners and aligned himself with The Judgment Day. He also says that Finn chose to play second fiddle to Damian Priest, and with no respect between them left, he is literally looking down on him, as Finn was best in the world for one night while he is the best for a long time to come. Gunther says that Finn will not be champion after Saturday because he was not and never will be at his level. The Judgment Day approaches the ring, but Damian Priest shows up and tears through them. Priest sends JD McDonagh into the ring to be smashed by Gunther, then Gunther hits Priest with a lariat and proceeds to attack him. Finn hits Gunther with a Sling Blade before he can powerbomb Priest through the table, then drop kicks Priest into the steel steps before hitting Gunther with a Coup de Grace. Pearce leaves, then Liv asks Finn for advice for her and Raquel's match tonight. Finn asks Liv to give him a few minutes.

PBR Professional Bull Rider Koltin Hevalow is seen in the front row.

The Final Testament (Karrion Kross, Akam, Rezar) and The Miz beat The Wyatt Sicks (Uncle Howdy, Erick Rowan, Joe Gacy, Dexter Lumis) after Nikki Cross attacks Scarlett and Paul Ellering shows up out of nowhere to throw powder into Uncle Howdy's face.

In backstage footage from earlier today, Jackie Redmond interviews CM Punk. Punk declines to talk about the favor between him and Paul Heyman, then says he will not shy away from a fight with Seth Rollins and that he finds Rollins' hatred of him confusing. He mentions his history with Rollins, even mentioning that Rollins wanted to be trained for free, saying that everything Rollins has done, he has done before him and better, and while Rollins has filled the vacuum from when he was gone, it is time for him to go back on the bench.

Liv Morgan beats Dakota Kai. During the match, Pure Fusion Collective (Sonya Deville, Zoey Stark, "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler) shows up to watch from ringside. Kairi takes out Pure Fusion Collective with a dive from the top rope, but Liv returns to hit Iyo Sky with Ob-Liv-Ion.

We hear from Drew McIntyre, who calls Hell In A Cell the most violent match of his career, and says that he succumbed to massive blood loss. He says he had to return to his family in Scotland, and that 2024 should have been his year, but he got screwed time and time again. McIntyre says that he thought people could change, but then he watched Survivor Series, and he knew that he had to take out Roman Reigns' Bloodline (Roman Reigns, "Main Event" Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Sami Zayn) and CM Punk in order to change the present and the future.

It is announced that "Main Event" Jey Uso is not medically cleared to compete this week.

Backstage, The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) show up after General Manager Adam Pearce meets with "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes. Cody tells The New Day they should be ashamed of themselves.

Seth "Freakin'" Rollins heads to the ring. Rollins says CM Punk has a future as a politician and calls his backstage interview a master class in spinning the truth, which he says Punk has done his entire life. He calls Punk a fraud and a con man, and admits that he asked Punk to train him. He says that he and CM Punk were friends, then says that Punk failed to mention that when he walked out on WWE, he and several friends reached out to him only to get no response. He mentions that Punk badmouthed the company every chance he could, and that Punk only walked back into WWE because he failed at everything else, he burned every bridge that led to water, and the money was right. Rollins admits that he used to respect and want to be like Punk, but he realized that Punk was a fraud and he wanted to be better, which he did, including main eventing WrestleMania. Suddenly, Sami Zayn shows up, and CM Punk warns him that they will be fighting if he is here to defend CM Punk. Sami says they have said things while angry and that this was bound to happen, then says it was wrong of him to assume that Rollins attacked Jey Uso backstage and that he has known him long enough to know, and for that, he apologizes. Rollins says he is glad Sami brought that up, as they have been close friends for twenty years, and admits that Sami was the first person to come to his mind. Sami says Rollins was out of his mind last week and that he did not even know who he was. Sami also says that Rollins sounded less like himself and more like Drew McIntyre. Rollins says he is not Drew McIntyre, to which Sami agrees, saying he is better than McIntyre. He then says that his anger at Punk brings out the worst in him, and that he probably should not have gotten involved. Sami then says he will stay out of Rollins' business regarding McIntyre, to which Rollins appreciates, and when asked if they are good again, Rollins says "Yeah, we're good." He then says that just like how he has business with Punk, Sami has business with McIntyre. As Rollins leaves, Sami says that is pretty good advice, then says he will end things as quickly as possible with McIntyre. He says he has spoken with General Manager Adam Pearce, and at Saturday Night's Main Event, he faces McIntyre. On his way back up the ramp, Sami is suddenly attacked by McIntyre. Officials have to pull McIntyre off Sami.

Lyra Valkyria beats Ivy Nile and Zelina Vega to advance in the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship Tournament.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods). They refuse to answer any questions regarding why they berated Big E, then says they will talk to the fans instead. Woods takes the camera with him as they head to the ring. When The New Day are booed by the crowd, Kofi cannot believe it, and neither can Woods, who gets the "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio treatment and gets booed so badly he cannot even speak. Woods says they did nothing to Big E, and Kofi says they could have hit Big E with a weapon and the fans still would have loved them, but the audience refuses to let them finish. The New Day then leaves, drowned out by the audience, and when they do, the fans cheer.

Rhea Ripley beats Raquel Rodriguez in an Anything Goes Match following interference from both Liv Morgan and Iyo Sky. After the match, Iyo Sky grabs the Women's World title at the same time as Rhea, and they have a staredown as the show ends.

He says that Chase University used him, and that he is sick and tired of his needs not being used in a group; therefore, he had to destroy Chase University. He points upwards and says he is going on the road to WrestleMania, and this time, he has a favor or two he can call upon. As he asks the fans to come on the journey with him, Seth "Freakin'" Rollins heads to the ring. Rollins says he has been thinking a lot and says that he should have knocked Punk out the day that he returned, and that he regrets not doing that for the past year, during which a lot of things got in the way. He says that the last time he saw him, he had pity for him, which he says was his mistake, and after seeing him triumphant with Roman Reigns' Bloodline, it was time to rectify some mistakes. Rollins takes off his jacket as he states that there is nothing in each others' way but air and hatred and that tonight is the night he knocks Punk on his ass. Punk says Rollins talks too much and does not listen enough, then says he has put personal things aside and running races with people he did not know he was running. He says Rollins was champion, but now he has nothing. He says that he knows what is in his future and that Rollins is not in it, and says that while Rollins has thought about him for six month, he has not thought of him at all, then says he has things to do in this business and tells Rollins to stay out of his business. General Manager Adam Pearce arrives with officials just as Rollins goads punk back in the ring. Punk leaves, with Rollins telling Punk and Jey to get out. Sami confronts Rollins for talking to Jey like he just did, and Rollins apologizes for going there, then asks what Sami's excuse is, as Sami is not family with Roman and that they are closer than he is with Roman. Sami reminds Rollins that he did not ask to team with Punk and had to under the circumstances, and that he wanted to team with Rollins, but Rollins turned them down both times because he is "too damn stubborn." Rollins says he did not want "that monster" Roman Reigns to regain his power, but Sami reminds Rollins that he made that monster when he turned on The Shield ten years ago. Rollins says he is not a saint in all of this and that he has atoned for that, then tells Sami to look in the mirror as he did the same thing, even though he did it for the right reasons. He says that Roman has not changed and has not apologized to anyone for his past actions, and that neither has CM Punk. Rollins says that naivety, not stubbornness, is the issue, and that Sami is being "really stupid." Sami says Rollins is really angry and frustrated, and if he wants to blow off steam, he has no problem facing him in a match tonight. Rollins accepts.

He says Famous B got lucky one time, unlike him, who gets lucky every night, and that he will take Famous B to school.

Kaos is the victor at first, but Madrid comes back out from the back to wrestle Kaos. David Marquez then ensures the match is one-on-one by banning Disorder from ringside, and Disorder leaves after the referee starts counting to ten.
