Hangman tells Daniels not to tell him who he is or who he can be, as he knows who he is, and if what happened him happened to Daniels, Daniels - or any man - would be this way. Owens shows up from inside the crowd and says he is a little insulted, as he was summoned to be here tonight because Cody wanted him here and while he is wearing his best, Cody is not wearing a suit. Cody says Owens was summoned to stand in the ring, not in the crowd, but Owens says Cody does not get what he wants just because he wants it, and security tires to get Cody back in the ring before Owens asks why Cody is so upset when everything is his fault. Owens then makes his way to the announce table and says that for four years, he fought The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, "Main Event" Jey Uso, Jimmy Uso, Solo Sikoa) every week with everything he had at the risk of his career and supported Cody in his fight with them. He then says Owens is painting himself as a victim and that nobody holds him down more than himself. Cody calls what Owens is doing "next-level sabotage" and that while he has obsessed over being world champion, he has become synonymous with WWE and has achieved so many accolades, and yet he does not know it. He says Owens did not pull the trigger when his knee was hurt and become world champion when he could, then says he pulled the trigger on the wrong guy and crossed the line by hitting Orton with a piledriver. Cody tells Owens he will beat a lesson into him and that this lesson will be coming, then tells Owens that the ball is in his cord. Owens says that if Cody wants to fight him, he will get his match, but only when he says it will happen.
