Honor Roll - Ring of Honor recap for November 28, 2024

In backstage footage from last night's AEW Dynamite, "The Learning Tree" wishes everyone a happy Thanksgiving before bragging about retaining against Tomohiro Ishii like so many other great ROH World Champions. He then announces that at Final Battle, he will be returning to his kingdom in New York City and hopes everyone will come to see him defend his championship.

"Big Shotty" Lee Johnson and "The Judge" EJ Nduka - now known collectively as "LEEJ" - beat Anthony Gangone and Kubes.

Queen Aminata beats Christina Marie by submission.

Before the next match, Jacked Jameson mocks the fans, saying they grew up in nearby Buffalo, New York before saying it is his first time in Albany, New York, which he says is a "dump trash town full of fat morons." He says that their opponents may be "tip-touching catwalkers," but The Iron Savages (Boulder and Bronson) are "spreading cheeks and lifting seven days a week."

MxM Collection (Mansoor and Mason Madden) beat The Iron Savages (Boulder and Bronson).

Backstage, Jerry Lynn, Christopher Daniels and Nigel McGuinness are seen watching a screen for tonight's Pure Rules match.

Before the next match, "Smart" Mark Sterling talks about rules, saying that The Premier Athletes (Tony Nese, Ariya Daivari, Josh Woods) love rules and that Josh Woods is a former ROH Pure Champion who should be a cornerstone of the Pure Division. After plugging The Premier Athletes' new shirt, he gets the fans to do an "Athlete Rules" chant only to be told that they suck.

Matt Taven beats Josh Woods in a Pure Rules Match after countering a cross arm breaker with a stack-up pin. After the match, "Taiga Style" Lee Moriarty shows up and says he is waiting for Taven, and says that they can go at it in a Pure Rules match anytime.

Backstage, we hear from Athena and Lexy Nair in an emergency Minion Empowerment Meeting. Athena says that the world tour is starting, and with Wrestle Dynasty around the corner, she will be in a qualifier match for the show. She tells the fans to jump on for the ride.

The Righteous (Vincent and Dutch) beat JD Drake and Beef. Dutch mimics "The American Dream" Dusty Rhodes' bionic elbows during the match. After the match, "The Natural" Dustin Rhodes and Sammy Guevara, and Guevera holds Dustin back to keep him from playing into The Righteous' mind games as they mock him with Dusty's rope and cowbell. They eventually get in the ring after Dustin grabs a metal folding chair, and Dustin demands The Righteous get in the ring with him.

AR Fox beats John Silver.

We see a video package for "Legit" Leyla Hirsch vs. Red Velvet for the ROH World Women's Television Championship at Final Battle.

We look back on Chris Hero vs. Eddie Kingston in a Fight Without Honor from Final Battle 2009.

The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Rocky "Azucar" Romero, Kyle O'Reilly) beat Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson and James Drake) and Pat Buck by submission with a cross arm breaker from O'Reilly to Pat Buck.

Here are the top five moments from tonight's show!
