Memphis Thing - Memphis Wrestling recap for November 2, 2024

"The Problem" Aaron Roberts and Justin Cae head to the ring from the parking lot, and Dustin Starr interviews them from the announce desk. Justin Case says they do not care about "The GunShow" Brett Michaels, as he will not become Memphis Wrestling Heritage Champion. Roberts says GunShow can win all the matches he wants, as he will not get a title shot until he says so. He says he has wiped his feet of "The GunShow" and has moved on to bigger and better things, then all of a sudden, Tim Bosby shows up. Bosby says he was sitting in the back and overhearing him, and last time they met in the ring, he made him tap out to win the Internet Championship, and he thinks he can make him tap out to win the Heritage Championship. Roberts says he was a different man back then and that he is the baddest man walking, then accepts Bosby's challenge.

We see footage of Memphis Tigers defensive lineman William Whitlow Jr. in the WrestleCenter ring.

Too Kool II (Tim Grind and Flex) retain the Memphis Wrestling Tag Team Championships against "Main Event" Bradley and Big Nasty Phil. During the match, The L.A. Hustlers (Notorious Bradley and Ruffshot Lamont) show up, and Lamont guests on commentary, wanting to know why The L.A. Hustlers cannot get a fair shake in Memphis Wrestling. After the match, Too Kool II confront The L.A. Hustlers for distracting them from the announce desk, and Bradley makes it clear they want their title shot now. Tim Grind says they will put the titles up anytime and any where, and that The L.A. Hustlers can go back to the hood if they think Too Kool II is scared of them before shoving Bradley. Referees as well as Big Dan have to stand between both teams before things get physical.

We see footage from the Halloween Spooktacular.

In footage outside of the WrestleCenter from earlier today, Matchmaker King Cobra meets with Derrick King regarding his in-ring retirement, and King Cobra wants to make sure he has all his ducks in a row and make sure he can give him a proper send-off. Meanwhile, Sycho Simon watches from behind a couple of cars.

Sycho Simon beats CJ Blaine. After the match, Simon says CJ Blaine has some heart and is not a quitter unlike a certain person he knows, and demands that person meet him in the ring next week.

Backstage, "The GunShow" Brett Michaels meets with Tim Bosby regarding "The Problem" Aaron Roberts, and tells Bosby to watch out for Justin Case before wishing him good luck.

Dustin Starr interviws Mackenzie Morgan at the announce desk. Mackenzie says that after she lost the Women's Championship to C-Rex, she locked herself in her room and cried. She then says she was not sad for long, as she thought about how hard she worked and how far she has come. Mackenzie says she will not give up on herself and the fans, as she is ready for her rematch against C-Rex. Nixi XS says Mackenzie is ignoring her because she can see right through her and calls her a failure before telling her to go home, as she is nothing without the title. Mackenzie punches Nixi in the face, but C-Rex sneaks up behind Mackenzie and attacks her. Mackenzie and C-Rex go at it in the ring, but C-Rex overpowers Mackenzie once again.

It has been revealed that somebody has been attacked in the parking lot. After the commercial break, it is revealed to be Gio Savage.

"The Problem" Aaron Roberts retains the Memphis Wrestling Heritage Championship against Tim Bosby following the distraction from Justin Case as Bosby locks in the ankle lock. After the match, Roberts continues to attack Bosby on the outside, then lays him out with the Heritage Championship. Roberts then declares that the show is over for "The GunShow" Brett Michaels and that The GunShow is old news, and anybody who gets in his way will end up like Tim Bosby for getting in his way. Roberts says that all of Memphis Wrestling is his now, then attacks Bosby again and hits him with the Problem Bomb. He then grabs a security guard and hits him an Uranage to end the show.
