Those Dynamite Kids - Dynamite recap for November 6, 2024

Tony Schiavone interviews The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley) in the ring to start tonight's show. MVP kicks Schiavone out of the ring, then introduces The Hurt Syndicate to the crowd before stating that they are here to enrich the lives of younger talent and bring them to their full potential much like they did for each other, and if one should be offered a business card, that card will be their golden ticket to success. If they accept it, it will change their life; if they reject it, they get a beatdown. He says they wanted to help Swerve Strickland, but Swerve wanted to make an enemy out of them. Swerve shows up with a chain wrapped around his hand while four referees and Prince Nana hold him back, and Nana hands Swerve the microphone. Swerve simply says "Bobby Lashley...Full Gear." MVP says "We'll see you there, kid."

We see a video package of the events leading to Orange Cassidy vs. Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship at Full Gear.

Before the next match, Orange Cassidy leads The Blackpool Combat Club (Claudio Castagnoli and PAC) - now known as The Death Riders - towards the stage, where Darby Allin dives at them from the top of the entrance tunnel.

The Death Riders (Claudio Castagnoli and PAC) vs. Orange Cassidy and Darby Allin ends in a no-contest. During the match, Wheeler Yuta slides into the ring only to eat an Orange Punch, then Marina Shafir gets in the ring and boots referee Bryce Remsburg in the head, knocking him out of the ring. This leads to Jon Moxley getting in the ring and putting Orange in a sleeper hold, and Darby Allin smacks Moxley in the back with his skateboard. At this point, the bell rings as officials try to restore order and Darby Allin hits everyone in The Death Riders (Moxley, Claudio, PAC, Yuta, Shafir) with a skateboard before getting clocked with a European Uppercut and thrown into the ring post by Claudio. The Death Riders then gang up on Orange in the ring before holding him down for a Busaiku Knee by Yuta. The rest of The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Kyle O'Reilly, Tomohiro Ishii, Rocky "Azucar" Romero) show up to chase The Death Riders out of the ring and check on Orange while medical staff checks on Darby.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Ricochet. Ricochet says he can pick anyone in AEW while everyone in AEW has a problem with Don Callis' family, and as much as he wants to tell her, he has to keep it a secret for later tonight. The Hurt Syndicate (MVP, Shelton Benjamin, Bobby Lashley) shows up to wish him good luck. Ricochet says "Watch me work," to which MVP replies "We will."

The Conglomeration (Mark Briscoe, Kyle O'Reilly, Tomohiro Ishii) beat The Learning Tree ("The Learning Tree" Chris Jericho, "The Redwood" Big Bill, "The Bad Apple" Bryan Keith) in a Fight Without Honor.

Backstage, The Death Riders (Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, PAC, Wheeler Yuta, Marina Shafir) leave the arena. Moxley says that Wheeler Yuta owes Orange Cassidy nothing for everything he has done for him, saying that only a cause, not money, buys loyalty. He says that Yuta is not Orange's friend or student, but a soldier under his command. Moxley says he had high hopes for Darby Allin, but he is a disappointment. He says there is a time to kill, a time to heal, a time to destroy and a time to build, and asks what season they are in, then says it is time to stop playing at the thing that should be taken seriously.

Adam Cole beats Malakai Black. After the match, it is revealed that Kyle O'Reilly has watched the match from backstage while being checked on by a trainer. Both Cole and Malakai show good sportsmanship after the match. Afterwards, Cole calls Malakai one of the best he has ever fought in his sixteen-year career and thanks him, then addresses MJF, saying that is two down and one more to go, and says Roderick Strong has to win two more matches and that those matches will be won. He says MJF thinks he put roadblocks in their paths, but he has talked to Tony Khan, who has said that when he and Roddy both get three wins, it will be MJF vs. Adam Cole vs. Roderick Strong in a Triple Threat Match, and that MJF will get the ass-kicking of a lifetime courtesy of Undisputed Kingdom (Cole, Roderick, Matt Taven, Mike Bennett).

We hear from a furious MJF at his own home. MJF makes a phone call, and tells the person on the other end to pay someone a visit.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews "Switchblade" Jay White, who is attacked by "Hangman" Adam Page while addressing what Hangman will do to him. This leads to a brawl near the stage, and Hangman traps Switchblade's leg in the barricade. As Hangman is about to injure Switchblade's leg, "Rock Hard" Juice Robinson runs out and grabs the chair, causing Hangman to ultimately retreat. Switchblade tells Hangman not to run away again, then tells him he will beat beat, embarrass and dismantle him while he and the fans have fun as he does it. He says Hangman has never been ahead of him and never will be, and at Full Gear, Hangman's leg will work against him when he makes him tap out.

Backstage, Renee Paquette interviews Kris Statlander, who says that Mercedes Moné cannot change the fact that she will become the next TBS Champion. All of a sudden, screeeching tires can be heard, and it is revealed that Kris Statlander may have been struck by the vehicle, which is manned by "The Brickhouse" Kamille while Mercedes sits in the passenger seat demanding that Kamille get Statlander while chastising her for missing her with the car and not being able to do anything right. Statlander loops around and goes after Mercedes, and Kamille saves Mercedes before brawling with Statlander. Statlander hurts Kamille's arm with the car door, then slams Mercedes on the hood of the car before being held back by security.

The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, "The Prodigy" Nick Wayne, Kip Sabian, Mama Wayne) head to the ring. Three men clad in all-black tactical gear stand between the ramp and the ring. Christian says he has security for everyone's protection as he speaks with Hook, then formally welcomes Kip Sabian into The Patriarchy, then explains that he realized Kip Sabian just wanted his attention as he is "a fatherless loser looking for some guidance," with the stand-out moment being when he chased him to the back only to encounter Claudio Castagnoli and PAC. Christian reveals that Kip Sabian had the foresight to realize what was happen, as he knew that they would interfere in his title match, and thanks to Sabian, his still has his contract that allows him to become the next AEW World Champion. Christian commends Kip Sabian for doing more for him than his other sons have ever done, then looks down at Nick Wayne while telling Sabian that he loves him. Suddenly, Hook shows up and demands that Christian make whatever he has to say him both good and fast, as he does not have much patience. Christian says Hook is a wild card with crazy eyes, that he is a bull in a china shop and that he is an ass kicker, and tells him that he needs a son like him and that he needed to know that he could be disciplined to fall in line. He also realized that if he wanted him as a son, he could not have the other voice in his ear, which was Taz, and admits that he did this out of a place of love and caring. Christian admits he hit Taz in the knee and leg with a pipe, and says that Taz asked Hook to seek out security footage of the attack because he knew that he could take him to heights that even he could not imagine. Christian says that Taz is a legend in the business and the face of "an outlaw promotion," and when he got onto the big stage, he buckled under the pressure and became a commentator. Christian then asks Hook if he wants to be an announcer like his father or a revered multiple-time World Champion like him, then says he regrets not taking what he did with Taz further because nobody in the arena cares if Taz is alive. Christian tells Hook he needs him, and he wishes to his face that his father Taz was dead. Hook charges through security and fights both Sabian and Christina, but Christian's security catches up to him. Hook makes quick work of Christian's security and puts Redrum on one of them. Christian smiles, liking what he sees as The Patriarchy retreats.

Backstage, Alex Marvez interviews Don Callis, who is approached a man who gives him an enveloped. Callis then hands him a red jewelery box and provides a message from MJF, who asks Don Callis to take care of Adam Cole for him, and if he gets the job done, there is another envelope of cash coming his way. He also warns Callis that if he scratches up the ring, there will be more men in suits waiting to scratch him up, too. Don Callis then looks inside the jewelry box, and inside is the Dynamite Diamond Ring.

Penelope Ford beats Jamie Hayter.

Mina Shirakawa returns next week. As this is announced, the left side of the screen briefly turns black and white at the end.

Before the next match, Ricochet says "The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher made a mistake when they let him pick anyone in AEW that he wants as his tag team partner, and that he did some digging and that as of October 4th, a certain person's contract with The Don Callis Family has expired and that he feels a little upset because he feels ignored. Ricochet's mystery partner is revealed to be Powerhouse Hobbs.

Ricochet and Powerhouse Hobbs beat The Don Callis Family ("The Alpha" Konosuke Takeshita and Kyle Fletcher). After the match, Kyle Fletcher hits Hobbs with a metal folding chair before doing the same to Ricochet, but before he can do more damage to Ricochet, Mark Davis shows up and saves Ricochet. After Davis tries to grab Fletcher, both Davis and Fletcher confront each other and have a shoving match before Davis is attacked from behind by Lance Archer. "The Machine" Brian Cage soon joins in, and as Mark Davis is ganged up on, Admam Cole shows up. Takeshita runs up the ramp and brawls his way to the back with Adam Cole, and as Fletcher has a screwdriver in his hand, Will Ospreay shows up and runs to the ring to attack Fletcher. After Archer is thrown out of the ring, Mark Davis, Will Ospreay, Ricochet and Powerhouse Hobbs all gang up on Fletcher, who escapes as Ospreay goes for the Hidden Blade.

Here are the highlights from tonight's show!
