Crown Jewel 2024 - The LIVE Results

Joe Tessitore interviews Gunther prior to his match with "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes.

We look back at Greatest Royal Rumble from 2018.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Seth "Freakin'" Rollins, who says that while he may not be 100% tonight, it will not stop him. He says his match with "Big" Bronson Reed tonight is one of the biggest tests of his entire career, as it is not just about slaying a monster, but finding out who he is and how much he has left in the tank. Rollins says he has his eyes on big things and he needs to know if he is ready for one more run with the World Heavyweight Championship.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Kevin Owens, who says that he has been silenced and that he is convinced that Cody Rhodes or Randy Orton has paid off a driver of a dune buggy to roll over multiple times on purpose to potentially injure him. He says that none of this is his fault and that he has been forced to wrestle Randy Orton, and that he will make Randy Orton feel worse than he was when he came out of the dune buggy. He then tells Randy that this is his fault.

In footage from yesterday at WWE Experience, the WWE Arabic social media team holds an interview with WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque.

We see Big E at Aseeb in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a restaurant known for its authentic Nadji heritage; Nadj Village, known for its trademark gordjan bread; and Meez The House, a Middle Eastern fusion for "Main Event Menu". WWE Arabic host Nathalie Mamo is there for the trip to Meez The House.

Cathy Kelley interviews "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes prior to his match with Gunther.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews Nia Jax. Nia says she feels great about tonight and that she will squash Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez and especially "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio. She says she is not worried about Tiffany Stratton, who she says knows it is not her time and that she will be watching from the outside. She says that when it is her time, Tiffany Stratton will cash in.

We see a brief video package of the relationship between WWE and Saudi Arabia, as well as a brief history of the start of the premium live events in the country and some footage from WWE Experience.

Backstage, Cathy Kelley interviews LA Knight, who says that he spent his celebration at the gym and in his hotel room figuring out how to beat Andrade and Carmelo Hayes tonight. He says that a Triple Threat Match changes the game and there is no advantage him and only a disadvantage. He then says that he will still walk out United States Champion.

We are introduced to the Arabic announce team of Jude Al-Dajani and Faisal Mughaisib.

The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, Jacob Fatu) beats Roman Reigns and The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) in a six-man tag match after Tonga Loa inadvertently takes down the referee while getting involved in the match. After the match, Roman Reigns grabs at Solo Sikoa and the ula fala, but he gets ganged up on, as does Jimmy Uso. The Bloodline then clears off the English announce table, and when Jey Uso goes after The Bloodline, he also gets overpowered. As The Bloodline wrap a chair around Jey Uso's neck and about to injure Jey, Sami Zayn heads to the ring. Solo tries to get Sami on his side, and Sami looks at Jey. As this goes on, the crowd chants "Sami Uso." Sami goes for a Helluva Kick the same time as Roman goes for a Superman Punch, but Solo avoids both attacks and slides out of the ring as both men inadvertently hit each other. Jimmy confronts Sami, and Jey has to play peacemaker between both of them before Sami leaves the ring.

Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill retain the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships against the team of Chelsea Green and Piper Niven, Meta-Four (Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson), and Damage CTRL (Iyo Sky and Kairi Sane) in a Fatal 4-Way Tag Team Match after Piper inadvertently hits Chelsea with a Vader Bomb while thinking that she is hitting Jade Cargill.

Seth "Freakin'" Rollins beats "Big" Bronson Reed after hitting three Stomps, with the third one hitting from the top rope. After the match, Bronson gets back on his feet as Rollins heads to the back, and a surprised Rollins states that he will beat him again if he continues to step up.

Liv Morgan beats Nia Jax to become the inaugural WWE Women's Crown Jewel Champion after two failed cash-in attempts by Tiffany Stratton and distractions and interference by Raquel Rodriguez and "Dirty" Dominik Mysterio. After the match, WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque personally awards the WWE Women's Crown Jewel Champonship to Liv Morgan.

Kevin Owens vs. Randy Orton ends before it begins and de-evolves into an absolute brawl that sees officials get attacked by both Owens and Orton - with Raw General Manager Adam Pearce eating an RKO - as they try to break things up. The brawl ends in the crowd with Owens elbow dropping Orton from a guardrail in the crowd through a table.

LA Knight retains the WWE United States Championship against Carmelo Hayes and Andrade in a Triple Threat Match as Carmelo goes for a facebuster on Andrade only for Knight to hit both men with a BFT at the same time.

"The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes beats Gunther to become the inaugural WWE Crown Jewel Champion after Gunther counters a Super Cody Cutter with a Sleeper only for Cody to roll back and pin Gunther's shoulders to the mat for the win. After the match, Gunther shakes hands with Cody and says something to him, then leaves. WWE Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque personally presents Cody with the WWE Crown Jewel Championship. Liv Morgan then enters the ring for one last round of applause for the Crown Jewel Champions, then Liv and Cody shake hands before celebrating with the fans.

Here are the highlights from tonight's show!
