Violent By Design (Eric Young, Joe Doering, Deaner) head to the ring. Eric Young says that power and control are what Violent By Design desired and took after running through an eight-team gauntlet match at Rebellion, and that the picture the fans are looking at right now is permanent. Young says that picture is forever, and if the people are being honest, there is nothing that they or any team in this world or the next can do about it. After he says this world belongs to Violent By Design, Rhino and Heath show up. Rhino says that at Rebellion, he and Heath did not get the retribution they deserved, then says he still hears Eric Young's voice in the back of his mind from when he brainwashed him and that they have unfinished business. He then says that they not only want retribution, but the tag team titles, and as Rhino asks if that is what they want to see, The Briscoes (Jay and Mark Briscoe) show up. Jay Brisco says the fans must be crazy if they thought they wouldn't come back after Multiverse of Matches, then makes it clear that they are coming for the Impact World Tag Team Championships. Heath welcomes The Briscoes to Impact, then tells them that Impact is a new world and he and Rhino are at the front of the line while The Briscoes are at the back. Jay says he goes to the back of the line for nobody, but Heath says he and Rhino made a New Year's resolution to become tag team champions. Eric Young says this is The Briscoes' and Heath and Rhino's problem while Violent By Design themselves are the problem, and tells them to figure it out themselves. After Young says to come see them when they do, Violent By Design leave. Rhino says that while he and Heath want the tag team titles, The Briscoes do not want them as badly as they do, and asks The Briscoes if they want a fight. The Briscoes are game, and Jay Briscoe asks for a referee. A referee shows up, and the match begins.
