Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for April 14, 2022

Madison Rayne beats Jessie McKay in the BTI match. During the match, Jessie McKay inadvertently hits the referee with a big boot when Madison Rayne ducks over it. At ringside, Tennille Dashwood and Cassie Lee both try to get in Kaleb with a K's ear and tell him to throw the chair he is sitting in into the ring. Rayne takes the chair and hits Jessie with hit, then hits Jessie with the Rayne Check to win. After the match, The Influence (Tennille Dashwood and Madison Rayne) tells Kaleb with a K that they are done. Kaleb then asks Jessie McKay if she is okay only for Cassie Lee to slap him. Kaleb then throws his fake Knockouts Tag Team Championship belt and says he does not The Influence or The IInspiration, saying she can have any girl and everyone knows it. As he mocks the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania crowd while saying he is too good for the town, W. Morrissey shows up and boots Kaleb in the face before tossing him out of the ring and putting him through a table with the BQE.

W. Morrissey is in the ring to start tonight's show. Morrissey says that the last time he was at tonight's venue, he had no control, was taken out on a stretcher, was at his lowest point and had nobody and nowhere to go to. Now, he is clean and sober and in the very best shape of his life. He then says that for the first time in 34 years, he can say that he is not alone, because he has the fans, whom he thanks for their support. Morrissey says he was given a second chance and people gave him opportunities, and he plans to make the most of them. Suddenly, Brian Myers shows up and says Morrissey is telling a sob story and asks if he should feel sorry for him, as he had a golden opportunity that the boys in the back could only dream of and "pissed it all away for a good time." He says the people should be feeling sorry for him, as Morrissey is a menace, has destroyed his commentary career and has destroyed numerous tables and collectibles, then tells Morrissey that he will end up half-dead on the arena floor if he keeps messing with him. Morrissey punches at Myers, but Myers leaps off the ring apron and says "Another time, big man." Morrissey then blocks his way to the ramp and chases him around the ring, grabbing him at the barricade. Morrissey then choke slams Myers on the ring apron before producing a table from underneath the ring and setting it up, but before he can put Myers through it with the BQE, he is distracted by Chelsea Green and attacked by Matt Cardona. Myers then chokes Morrissey with his T-Shirt before Chelsea slaps Morrissey and Myers and Cardona put him through the table. It is then realized that Cardona, Chelsea and Myers have shirts with the word "Major Players" on them.

"The Virtuosa" Deonna Purrazzo retains the ROH Women's World Championship against Willow Nightingale with the Venus de Milo.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Mickie James. Mickie says she and Chelsea Green are just getting started after their recent history, and says that if Chelsea thinks she treats her like a little sister now, she will give her the big sister whipping. Suddenly, Chelsea shows up. Chelsea tells Mickie she does not need somebody to beat her ass, then Chelsea and Mickie brawl until Matt Cardona grabs her from behind. Chelsea slaps Mickie, then hits her with her cast and lays her out before she, Cardona and Brian Myers look down on her.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans. Tasha Steelz says she knows Rosemary and Decay (Rosemary, Crazzy Steve, Black Taurus, Havok) love to play mind games, but she and Savannah Evans have history with her and she has not forgotten. She has since reached the top of the mountain, and she is ready for Rosemary's mind games. Suddenly, Decay shows up on the nearby monitor and taunt Tasha Steelz.

Jonathan Gresham beats Rocky Romero. Both men shake hands after the match.

We see a video package chronicling the events leading up to "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander vs. Moose for the Impact World Championship from Alexander's point of view.

Backstage, "Speedball" Mike Bailey is training with a punching bag when Ace Austin shows up and tells him Madman Fulton will not make it to Rebellion, meaning it is just the two of them against Trey Miguel.

Alex Shelley beats Steve Maclin after Chris Sabin stops Maclin from using the ropes for leverage in a pinfall attempt.

Backstage, Madison Rayne runs into "The Quintessential Diva" Gisele Shaw, who apologizes to Madison for the loss of Kaleb with a K, but Madison says she and Tenille Dashwood will do just fine without him. Gisele says "We'll see about that."

Honor No More head to the ring. Eddie Edwards asks the fans if they can feel the history before calling Philadelphia's fans the most passionate in professional wrestling, then says that the truth is that they are also the most fickle fans in professional wrestling. He calls the fans spoiled brats who don't care about what is going on in front of them before wondering where their next shiny new toy is, then Mike Bennett says that Philadelphia is also his birthplace. He then says the fans turned their back on Ring of Honor, Extreme Championship Wrestling and everyone in Honor No More. Matt Taven says the fans may have turned their back on them, but they never turned their backs on each other. Taven says they never knew they were surrounded by hypocrites who went to the next big thing like a bunch of lemmings, then says that while he still has fans who follow the trend, Honor No More is no trend. Suddenly, Bullet Club ("Switchblade" Jay White, Chris Bey, "The Big LG" Doc Gallows, "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) shows up, and Jay White says Bullet Club is the best, not Honor No More, and Doc Gallows says some factions need to send out some "Bullet Club thank-yous," including Honor No More when they beat Bennett and Taven in Japan in 2015. Gallows says hello to Maria Kanellis-Bennett after saying Bullet Club is taking a trip to a Magic Killer, and Anderson says Honor No More are the toys nobody wants to play with anymore while Bullet Club are the coolest toys in the toy box. Maria says that Bullet Club can shove the "too sweet" up their ass and that Honor No More is here to stay and is "for life." Chris Bey then says they can go bar for bear, but their bars are weak before proposing that both teams go at it. Both teams then meet in the ring and brawl. The brawl soon makes its way to the outside, and PCO hits everyone from both sides with a cannonball senton off the top rope. JONAH then shows up for the next match.

JONAH beats PCO. After the match, PCO gets back up, but Jonah lays him out and hits him with a chair multiple times. PCO then starts to stir, and JONAH lays the chair on top of PCO before hitting another Tsunami to keep him down.
