Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for April 21, 2022

Heath and Rhino beat Rich Swann and Willie Mack in the BTI Match.

Violent By Design (Eric Young and Deaner) beat Decay (Crazzy Steve and Black Taurus) after Joe Doering sends Black Taurus neck-first into the ring post on the outside and Eric Young snaps the flagpole on Crazzy Steve's back.

We see a video package of the events leading up to "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander vs. Moose at Rebellion.

In backstage footage from during the break, it is revealed that Black Taurus has been injured. Suddenly, Havok and Rosemary are attacked by Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans.

Brian Myers, Chelsea Green and Matt Cardona head to the ring. Cardona says "The Major Players" are here and that it is appropriate that he is here in the 2300 Arena because he is "The Deathmatch King." He says that he is all about money and championships and that he needs some Impact Wrestling tag team gold, and that there is no better partner than Brian Myers. Myers says they have not always seen eye to eye, but they do now. Myers says he is the best version of himself right now, as does Cardona, and Chelsea tells the fans to take it in because while they were powerful and well-renowned individually, they are the most well-rounded group in Impact Wrestling now. After Chelsea and Cardona brag about what they did to Mickie James and W. Morrissey, Myers says the three of them are the best team in Impact now and forever and are now taking over. Suddenly, "Little" Guido Maritato and Tony Mamaluke show up. Guido says his career stated in the 2300 Arena and through the years, he has seen hundreds of wrestler bleed buckets to pave the way for them to be in the ring, and says not to disrespect this building and what it has done, for it is for the fans. Guido then calls Cardona, Chelsea and Myers "Major Sissies," and Cardona says they are the most relevant thing since ECW died. Guido and Tony slap Myers and Cardona, then Guido dares Cardona to put the Digital Media title on the line tonight.

Matt Cardona retains the Impact Digital Media Championship against Guido Maritato after Brian Myers gets on the apron and Matt Cardona hits Guido with a low blow. After the match, Myers attacks Tony Mamaluke, then he and Cardona pull out a table from underneath the ring. As they are about to put someone through a table, W. Morrissey shows up and fights them off. As he has Myers ready for a choke slam, Chelsea hits him with a low blow.As he has Myers ready for a choke slam, Chelsea hits him with a low blow. Jordynne Grace shows up and goes on the attack as Cardona has Morrissey ready for a powerbomb, then Morrissey choke slams Cardona through the table.

We hear from Honor No More. Eddie Edwards talks about his match against Jonathan Gresham at Rebellion, saying he will teach him that honor is no more. Matt Taven says that he and Mike Bennett will become Impact World Tag Team Champions. Bennett says Honor No More is the best, and Kenny King says that they will beat Bullet Club just like they did in Ring of Honor.

We hear from JONAH, who says that while he gave PCO fair warning, the bolts were not tight enough and he put him away for good. He then says he will not be responsible for what he does to Tomohiro Ishii at Rebellion, which he says will be a dogfight.

Shera quickly beats Gabriel Rodriguez.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Bhupinder Gujjar, who says he has no regrets and does not need someone like Raj Singh on his side. He says things are going the way he wants and he will get his chance in Impact Wrestling. He says he is happy for Shera and Raj Singh as long as they stay out of his business.

Backstage, Moose meets with Scott D'Amore, who tells Moose that he preferred Moose being fired and stripped of the world title when Moose complains about having to apologize to "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander's family. When Moose asks for assurances for his personal safety, D'Amore asks where the assurances for Josh's wife's safety was in the last few months before saying he will have a front row seat for Moose's public apology.

Bullet Club ("Switchblade" Jay White, Chris Bey, "The Big LG" Doc Gallows, "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson) beats Honor No More (Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Kenny King, Vincent) in an eight-man tag match.

We hear from Steve Maclin, who congratulates "Switchblade" Jay White, who he says always needs somebody to watch his back. He says he belongs to a club with honor, courage and loyalty that truly is for life, which is why he jumped Chris Sabin. He says that Sabin has no loyalty or trust, and as for Jay White, he cannot wait to fight him at Rebellion.

Backstage, The IInspiration (Jessie McKay and Cassie Lee) sign an autograph, then the person behind the camera is next in line. Jessie says they can add people into their lives, while Cassie says they can get rid of people in their lives. Jessie says that with Kaleb with a K out of the way, they can focus on being two-time Knockouts Tag Team Champions.

We hear from Taya Valkyrie, who says that Deonna Purrazzo cannot stop talking about being a double champion and that she is back to take back what she never lost: the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship, a title she says is full of wrestling history. Taya says she will beat Deonna for the title and become a four-time Reina de Reinas Champion at Rebellion.

Laredo Kid and Trey Miguel beat "Speedball" Mike Bailey and "Inevitable" Ace Austin after Trey counters The Fold with a roll-up. After the match, Ace Austin attacks Trey Miguel, and "Speedball" Mike Bailey joins in only to kick Austin in the head instead.

Backstage, as Honor No More meet, Vincent then says he has some business to attend to, and he heads to the back of the building. He goes to his car, then pulls out an orange jumper cable and heads to another part of the building. Vincent pulls off a black covering to reveal PCO, then electrifies the jumper cables to revive him. The attempt is a success, and PCO rises.

Security surrounds the ring and Scott D'Amore oversees as Moose heads to the ring to formally apologize to "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander and his family. Moose is accompanied to the ring by his attorney and barrister, R.D. Evans, who reads his public apology. In this statement, it is stated that after much consultation and sensitivity training, Moose's behavior was over the line. Moose stops him, saying he does not sound sincere enough, then crumbles up the statement. Moose says that nobody's family deserves what Alexander's family went through, then says he will give Alexander a sincere apology, and says he is sorry for showing everyone how much of a loser Alexander is. Moose also apologizes for exposing Alexander as not being enough of a protector to his wife and not being a role model to his kids, then says he is not sorry for "whupping his ass" at Bound For Glory to become Impact World Champion. He says that Alexander walks around calling himself "The Walking Weapon" when he cannot even protect his family, then says he is not sorry for what he will do to him in Rebellion, as he plans on hurting him and sending him back home for more than a month. Moose then says he knows Alexander is watching, and tells him that he will bend to his knee and ask Moose to show his wife and kids what a real man looks like. Alexander shows up and takes out security, then Scott D'Amore stands in Alexander's way briefly before letting him head to the ring. Moose and Alexander stare down before brawling, and Moose uses R.D. Evans as a shield. Moose lays out Alexander, and when Moose tries to put him through a table, Alexander fights back and puts Moose through the table with the C4 Spike.
