They're On A Rampage - Rampage recap for October 8, 2021

Backstage, Mark Henry interviews CM Punk, Daniel Garcia and 2point0 (Jeff Parker and Matt Lee). Matt Lee says CM Punk is a phony, and Jeff Parker says that Punk quit when the world stopped revolving around him. Daniel Garcia asks Punk what he would do in his position, then says "the lovefest" ends tonight. CM Punk says the world of wrestling came back to him, not the other way around, then says he will get in the ring and show Garcia what it is like to be on the other end of a beating.

CM Punk beats Daniel Garcia with the Anaconda Vice after sending Garcia into both members of 2point0 (Jeff Parker and Matt Lee).

Backstage, Tony Schiavone interviews Dante Martin, Lio Rush and Matt Sydal. Matt calls Lio Rush "a junk bond salesman," and Lio says what he and Dante have is real and what he is selling to Dante is real. Lio says Sydal should prove his value and says he can put him in a match with CM Punk next week. Sydal tells Rush that with a match like that, he can prove that his value transcends money.

The Lucha Bros. (Penta el Zero Miedo and Rey Fenix) retain the AEW World Tag Team Championships against The Acclaimed ("Platinum" Max Caster and Anthony Bowens).

Jade Cargill quickly beats Skye Blue. After the match, Jade Cargill kicks and stomps at Skye Blue, then Thunder Rosa runs into the ring with a chair, forcing Jade Cargill to retreat.

Backstage, Mark Henry interviews Team Taz ("Absolute" Ricky Starks, Powerhouse Hobbs, Hook) and "The Machine" Brian Cage. Starks says he has proven there is a gap between him and Cage, and when he beats Cage, he will prove why he is the absolute truth. Cage says this has been a long time coming and that Starks has proven nothing, and that Starks will find out nobody is better than Cage.

"Absolute" Ricky Starks retains the FTW World Championship against "The Machine" Brian Cage in a Philly Street Fight with help from Powerhouse Hobbs and Hook.
