Final Impact - Impact Wrestling recap for October 28, 2021

VSK beat Sam Beale in the BTI match after the referee catches Sam Beale grabbing the tights on a schoolkid pin. After the match, "Outlandish" Zicky Dice and Brian Myers attack Sam Beale, but Rich Swann and Willie Mack run into the ring to make the save.

Moose heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Before Moose can say anything, Eddie Edwards rushes in with a Kendo stick, but Moose sees him coming and fights him. When Moose tosses Eddie out of the ring, however, Eddie fights back. Eddie and Moose take their fight to the stage, and multiple members of security have to break up the brawl. Moose returns to the ring, then says he knows he has done a lot of bad things to get to where he is today, including breaking the neck of a man he once called his best friend, and at Bound For Glory, he did the worst yet. He says he took everything "The Walking Weapon" Josh Alexander worked to get right out of his hands in front of his wife and child, then says he has no sympathy, because he has the Impact World Championship, which makes him the greatest champion in professional wrestling. He says it does not matter how elite someone is, what tribe someone is chief to or if someone is the boss, the man, a woman, a king, the queen, or if someone adds a new day to the week, because he is the greatest champion in professional wrestling. Moose then tells anyone who thinks that what he has done to get the World title is vile, evil and despicable, then they should imagine what he is capable of doing to keep it. As Moose looks to the stage to send a message to the locker room, he is German suplexed by Josh Alexander, and Moose flees into the crowd. Suddenly, Minoru Suzuki shows up and has a staredown with Josh Alexander, who soon focuses on Moose before Suzuki grabs him and punches him, starting a brawl between Alexander and Suzuki that security also has to break up.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Moose, who says he has pissed off a lot of people in the locker room and did a lot of bad things, and knows he has a big target on his back, but if any man can handle it, it is him. Matt Cardona congratulates Moose on beating him in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet and calling his shot later at Bound For Glory, saying he was so close to beating him. After Moose says "this close" doesn't win championships, Moose and Cardona brawl. Security quickly moves in to break the brawl up.

Trey Miguel retains the Impact X Division Championship against Rocky Romero. After the match, Trey Miguel is attacked from behind by Steve Maclin, who spears Trey as he is in the tree of woe position. Maclin then tells Trey that he has not beaten him yet.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Jordynne Grace and Rachael Ellering. She says that what it means to be Digital Media champ has yet to be determined, but she is determine to shape that with her large social media following. Suddenly, Tasha Steelz and Savannah Evans show up, and Tasha congratulates Jordynne before asking Rachael what is it like to be the biggest loser in the Catch Your Shot Gauntlet Match thanks to her. Rachael says that did not work then and does not work now, as she and Jordynne are on the same page. Rachael then proposes that they take care of business in the ring.

Backstage, Steve Maclin tells Trey Miguel that he has not beaten him and that nobody has, and that Trey has what he wants and is owed to him: the X Division Championship. Scott D'Amore shows up and says nobody is owed anything, but if he wants to work his way to the title, he can make it happen. Maclin says he has no problem stacking up the bodies. Suddenly, Matt Cardona shows up wanting to get his hands on Moose, and Eddie Edwards shows up wanting Moose, too. D'Amore says Josh Alexander wants Moose, too, and puts them and Josh in a six-man tag match against Moose and two others of Moose's choice, assuming there isn't any bridges that Moose. Suddenly, D'Amore has to stop Josh Alexander from putting his hands on referee Brian Hebner for calling for the bell with his family in the ring, and tells him of the six-man tag team match. He also tells Alexander he wants to see him as the face of the company and that after he proves Christian wrong on not being championship material, he should not prove Christian right on having out of control emotions and tells him to do it for his family.

Rachael Ellering beats Tasha Steelz with a backslide pin.

Backstage, we hear from W. Morrissey, who calls Moose out for ending their alliance when it was no longer for convenient for him. When he makes it clear that he wants the World title, Moose shows up. Moose tells W. Morrissey that if he had a chance to turn on him, he would do it, and that he screwed Morrissey before Morrissey screwed him. He then keeps his word on making him the first title defense for helping take care of Eddie Edwards.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews The IInspiration (Jessica McKay and Cassie Lee). They say that they are worldwide stars and Australian legends, and that they will take the Knockouts Division to a whole new level.

Heath vs. Joe Doering is thrown out when Rhino brawls with Deaner in the ring for getting involved in the match. After the match, Eric Young gets in the ring, and reminds Rhino that he is injured when Rhino confronts him. Deaner gets an elbow when he charges at Rhino, then Eric Young gets in the ring and attacks Rhino, revealing he is no longer hurt as he takes out Rhino with a top rope elbow drop and hits Heath with a piledriver.

We hear from The Good Brothers ("The Big LG" Doc Gallows and "Machine Gun" Karl Anderson). Anderson says they are the tag team of the year and the bookers of the year following Bound For Glory, and Gallows says they are still tag team champions after beating their competition. FinJuice (Juice Robinson and David Finlay) shows up, and Juice Robinson tells The Good Brothers they did not beat them. David Finlay claims they can take the tag team titles off of them any day of the week, but Anderson tells FinJuice they have to earn their title shot.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews The Demon. Before The Demon can say why he is here, Johnny Swinger shows up to say that The Demon came to swerve him in his worst year since 1993, and says that his kind is not welcome here. The Demon says "My kind?" Swinger says "Demons!" Crazzy Steve and Black Taurus shows up, and Swinger soon walks away. The Demon then says he came back because demons are welcome here.

Mickie James heads to the ring. Mickie says that at Slammiversary, she did not have the Knockouts Championship on her mind, but when the opportunity for a chance at glory presented itself, she could not turn it down. She thanks Deonna Purrazzo for giving her the greatest match of her life and the hardest match she has ever fought, and while Deonna wants a rematch, nobody has heard from her since Bound For Glory. She then says that this is okay, because she has seen the competition in Impact Wrestling and knows there are a lot of women who want to tie up with her. Mickie says she welcomes the opportunity and that she is excited about the future. Suddenly, Madison Rayne and Kaleb with a K show up, and Madison welcomes Mickie back to Impact Wrestling, calling her a pillar and cornerstone of the Knockouts Championship alongside Gail Kim and Awesome Kong. She then says that she may not get the credit for what she has done for Impact and the Knockouts division, and that while Mickie has played in any playground that will welcome her, she has stayed in Impact the whole time. Mickie reminds Madison that she left and came back three times, then Madison tells Mickie not to get used to being Knockouts Champion when she defends it against her next week. Mickie accepts the challenge, then tells Madison to bring "her photographer" Kaleb with her so he can get a clean shot of her standing over Madison as Knockouts Champion. Kaleb tells Mickie thinks she is funny when she is stupid, and that she has half a mind to knock the smile off of her face. Mickie immediately slaps Kaleb before holding up the Knockouts Championship as Kaleb and Madison walking away.

Backstage, Gia Miller interviews Moose and W. Morrissey. When asked about their third partner, Moose says they are working on something. Moose and W. Morrissey then meet with Minoru Suzuki. Moose says he likes the fact that Suzuki is a very violent man and asks for his help. Suzuki stands up, then says "Josh Alexander." Suzuki then fist bumps with Moose and Morrissey.
