Cody and Brandi talk about the upcoming Double or Nothing event, which is the first one to break back the fans. Cody reveals they will not be flying and will instead be taking the Nightmare Express - a bus that Cody uses for get-togethers - to the venue. After Brandi says that QT Marshall will not be her child's godfather, then says that she does not want anyone in her space at the back of the bus.
At the Nightmare Factory training school, Cody talks about how he and QT Marshall train potential AEW wrestlers. QT Marshall compares victory and defeat in wrestling to sex, and Preston "10" Vance talks about the recruits who have successfuly graduated from the training school. Ricky Starks talks about his injury and says he is thankful it did not entirely take him off of television.
At home, Cody talks with Teil. Cody says he is more overwhelmed than nervous about having a daughter, and wants to make sure that he can spend a lot of time with his daughter while continually on business. We learn more about Teil, who is protective of her family's legacy, and understands that Cody does not want history to repeat itself with him and Dustin, and tells him to enjoy the time he has with his new daughter.
Ricky Starks, QT Marshall and Preston "10" Vance show up as Cody's "baby task force." Brandi is happy about Cody's initiative, but she is afraid that they will wing it as they assemble everything meant for the baby. When it comes to the new car seat, they find out that assembling it and setting it up is not all that it is cracked up to be.
QT Marshall brings out the Nightmare Express, and Cody thinks he has everything ready until Brandi says that the bed is not on the bus. QT Marshall and Cody think about how many pay-per-view buys Double or Nothing will get while trying to cheer Brandi up.
Cody makes it to the venue and takes part in a meet-and-greet for the fans. While there, he and Brandi are met by Eric Bischoff, and Cody talks about the weigh-in segment for tonight's Dynamite. Bischoff catches up with Tony Khan, and Teil and her family also show up as Cody makes sure everything goes well.
The weigh-in segment takes place. Everything goes well until the scale fails to work, which causes the fans to get upset. Meanwhile, fireworks are in the sky after the local baseball team has won their game, and at this point, the weigh-in segment has fallen apart.
Backstage, everyone agrees that the weigh-in segment was a failure. Cody takes full responsibility for the weigh-in not going as planned, especially with everything he is juggling.
Cody meets with Eric Bischoff at a hotel bar. Cody mentions the weigh-in segment, but Eric Bischoff tells him not to worry about as the passion was still there and things will still go wrong, and that AEW is still a new company with a lot of ground to cover. He tells Cody to focus on the big picture and to remember what got AEW to the dance and focus on that as he talks about working with his father Dusty in World Championship Wrestling.
Brandi Rhodes gets a send-off from the locker room backstage, then meets with her publicist and some AEW legal officers. Brandi wants to be back at work as soon as she can after having her baby, especially with the "what have you done for me lately" nature of wrestling.
Cody takes part in the AEW Fan Fest before Double or Nothing. Meanwhile, Brandi is interviewed by Dave LaGreca for Busted Open Radio.
Cody wakes up with back pain on the morning of Double or Nothing and gets it treated by Doc Samson.
Brandi meets with Dustin before leaving work for a while. Brandi reminds that the family is always here for her, and that Brandi will be right back at AEW with everyone else.
Costume designer Sandra Gray shows Cody's jacket for tonight's show, which contains some family photos on the inside. Cody is impressed, then gets focused for his upcoming match with Anthony Ogogo.
Cody Rhodes vs. Anthony Ogogo at Double or Nothing takes place. Brandi has her misgivings about the match due to Ogogo's three matches have only been two minutes long as well as Cody's back pains, but the match goes well. Cody looks forward to facing Ogogo in the ring again, while Brandi tries to figure out how Cody keeps juggling everything despite his physical and mental fatigue.
