Becky Lynch shows up to start tonight's show. Becky says it has been a year and a half since she has been on Raw, and that it is good to be back. She then says she will make a few executives unhappy by jumping the gun before saying she does whatever she wants and proclaiming herself to be the first draft pick of the night. She admits that while she is still SmackDown Women's Champion, she never lost the Raw title, and the person holding it now is someone she has gone back and forth with a lot. She says she has gotten better since last time and Charlotte Flair cannot stand it. Becky says it is time to become "Becky Two Belts" once again, then Charlotte Flair shows up. Charlotte reminds Becky that she used to be "Becky Pre-Show" before she made her famous, then tells her to get over her inferiority complex, as she will always be looking up to her. After Charlotte says that she and Becky have unfinished business, Bianca Belair shows up. Bianca says she has unfinished with both Charlotte and Becky, and says they must feel threatened after taking cheap shots at her on Friday night. She says neither of them are ready for her to be "the EST of Raw," because she goes here now. Charlotte tells her to be quiet as the champions are having a conversation, and Bianca takes this as disrespect, leading to a "Charlotte sucks" chant from the fans before saying Charlotte isn't on Raw anymore and tells Becky to "go get [her] girl." Charlotte says she is no one's girl and that she is a woman, and while she respects Bianca's accomplishments, Bianca should only be asking for her autograph and thanking her for paving the way for her. Becky tells Bianca that if she were her, she would fight Charlotte, but she's beaten her so much that she has nothing left to prove. She then says Bianca and Charlotte have never fought before and then wonders what would happen. Charlotte says she only gives out opportunities, not charities, and Becky says "I wouldn't take that." Bianca then takes off her earrings and Charlotte almost leaves, then WWE officials Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville show up. They make Charlotte Flair vs. Bianca Belair official, then announce that Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley will defend the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships in a rematch against Natalya and Tamina. Sonya then kicks the show off with a United States Championship match, with Jeff Hardy facing Damian Priest for the title.

Suddenly, Austin Theory shows up with a phone in his hand. He introduces himself and says his main roster draft dream has come true, and now he is standing in front of Jeff Hardy. He says that he grew up watching Jeff Hardy and has been inspired him, and now his dreams have come true. He offers to take a selfie with Jeff, which Jeff accepts. Theory then attacks Jeff and takes another pic with a downed Jeff Hardy.

He says that before he could even breathe, Drew McIntyre stepped up and declared himself as the next challenger, and he asks McIntyre to come to the ring and speak his mind. Drew McIntyre shows up and declares that it is "a Drew day," and says that while he has been drafted to SmackDown, he has unfinished business on Raw and has been biding him time to wait for someone to liberate the WWE Championship, which Big E has done. McIntyre tells Big E that he deserves to be WWE Champion, and says he wanted to congratulate him in person, which he does. He says that while Lashley was cashed in on, he was cashed in on himself thanks to Lashley, and says Lashley deserved it. McIntyre then challenges Big E for the WWE Championship. It is then that Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode suddenly show up, and Robert Roode says that while they are waiting to be drafted, they could not help but overhear the conversation. Ziggler says he is a fan of Big E and that he is proud of him, then wants to know why Big E failed to thank him. We then see a video package of Big E being Ziggler's enforcer back in 2013, and Ziggler says that without him, there is no Big E or New Day (Kofi Kingston, Big E, Xavier Woods). McIntyre says Ziggler may have a point, but Ziggler says McIntyre is next, and brings up the fact that McIntyre came back to the main roster in 2018, also as Ziggler's enforcer, and becoming Raw tag team champion in the process of becoming WWE Champion. Ziggler says that all he wants is a simple "thank you," saying he did the work and McIntyre rode the coattails. Big E and McIntyre have a quick huddle, then McIntyre says Ziggler "upgraded" to Roode. Roode says he is twice the friend and tag partner McIntyre ever was, and tells Big E he puts the "body" in bodyguard, saying people call him "Big Bob." Big E says nobody calls him Big Bob, then Ziggler insists on a simple "thank you" again. Ziggler says that he is "a perfect gentleman," but McIntyre asks the fans what they think and the fans are not approving. Big E says that he and McIntyre do owe them something - an ass whupping - and challenges them to a tag team match against himself and McIntyre right now.

He invites Lashley to the ring so he can intentionally break his neck, then Lashley shows up. Lashley tells Goldberg that what happened to Gage was a misunderstanding, and that Goldberg is out of his mind if he thinks he will enter the ring and ruin his suit just to beat him up again. He tells Goldberg to look at things his way and stop assassinating his character by perpetrating a myth that he intentionally hurt his son, and says he owes him an apology. He then says that he will give Goldberg the match he wants against him at Crown Jewel on the condition that it is no-holds-barred. Goldberg thanks Lashley, saying that gives him a license to kill. He then apologizes to Lashley's kids for how he will leave him lying in the middle of the ring gasping for air, because Lashley is next and Lashley is dead. Lashley tells Goldberg that one cannot kill "The Almighty," and tells him that if Gage has the balls to do what he did last time, it will not be a misunderstanding. As he asks what he would do if someone jumped on his back, Goldberg is jumped on from behind by Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander. Despite this, Goldberg successfully fends them off.

RK-Bro (Matt Riddle and Randy Orton) head to the ring. After the commercial break, Orton calls out Omos, saying he is ready and waiting and has yet to hear a response to his proposition. He then asks if Omos is "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles' personal colossus or "a big bitch." Styles and Omos show up, and Styles says that they were celebrating their victory over Riddle before calling Orton "insignificant" and that it would not matter if Omos wanted to destroy him. He also says that Riddle has no brain cells left to stop them from taking the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships, and says that when they take the titles back, they can shove it in their faces and gloat about how they beat RK-Bro. As Omos answers Orton's proposition, however, Orton hits AJ Styles, starting a brawl that leaves Orton in the ring with Styles and Omos.
