Raw Deal - Raw recap for October 18, 2021

Charlotte Flair heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Charlotte wants to know where the balloons and champagne are and why the Raw locker room isn't lining up to give her farewell hugs. She also wants to know where the "Thank you, Charlotte" chants are and why she has to defend the Raw Women's title against Bianca Belair. She calls Bianca a rookie and a flash in the pain and says this is bullcrap, saying that Bianca is not on the Raw roster yet and has two title opportunities this week and calls the fans out for calling her entitled and telling her she sucks, calling what is going on a conspiracy. Charlotte says she wanted a fitting farewell for the most decorated woman in sports entertainment history, then says it is convenient that Bianca gets a rematch before the two of them switch brands and tells Bianca to go to the back of the line. She says that Bianca cannot beat her and will learn how far she still has yet to go, even after beating Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch and with Becky being unable to beat her on her own. Suddenly, Bianca Belair shows up. Bianca says that this is not a conspiracy or favoritism; she says this is justly deserved after proving herself and that she had Charlotte Flair beaten until Becky Lynch saved her. Bianca also says she cannot believe that Charlotte Flair is throwing a temper tantrum because she has to defend the Raw Women's title and leave the brand, then says that no matter what brand she is on, she is the one to watch and she always shines. She also says that she won't even be a problem for Charlotte after tonight because she "won't go her anymore," then tells Charlotte to take as much time as she needs to say goodbye to the Raw Women's tonight before she dusts herself off and keeps her head up high. She also tells her to use the loss she will get tonight as a reason to get better, as she will take the Raw Women's Championship with her to Crown Jewel and come back with the SmackDown Women's Championship along with it. Bianca then asks "How's that for a rookie, Charlotte?" Charlotte attacks Bianca, but Bianca fends her off and Charlotte has to wriggle out of the K.O.D. in order to escape the ring.

Backstage, Kevin Patrick interviews The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods). Xavier Woods says the King of the Ring is of the utmost importance to him, as he will be one step closer to being like the Kings of the Ring who came before him. Kofi says it will be an honor to be in Woods' corner tonight, and that there cannot be a repeat performance of what happened last week. Woods then says that at Crown Jewel, he will be sitting on the throne as King of the Ring.

We see a vignette for Seth Rollins.

Backstage, WWE officials Adam Pearce and Sonya Deville are met by Charlotte Flair, who thinks they are screwing her over after being put in a title match with Bianca Belair and getting no farewell party, and says that she smells a conspiracy. Deville says the match makes total, logical sense, but Charlotte says that nobody can replace her and that she will be face of both Raw and SmackDown.

Drew McIntyre and Big E beat Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode, this time coexisting much more cooperatively. After the match, McIntyre shakes hands with Big E after pulling him over, then Big E pulls McIntyre over to him and have another staredown.

Backstage, we hear from The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford). Montez Ford says they are about to take Raw by storm again, and Angelo Dawkins says they will put the tag team division on notice. Ford and Dawkins hype up Crown Jewel, then "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and Omos show up, and Styles says they try to bring dignity to Raw only for "dorks" like The Street Profits to show up. Omos says Raw is his house, and Styles says they will become Raw Tag Team Champions. Styles says that The Street Profits have a chance to be at the top of the list with them, but Ford makes it clear they want to put the whole tag team division on notice. Styles tells Omos that The Street Profits have no idea what is going to happen to them.

We see a vignette for Kevin Owens.

Mansoor beats Cedric Alexander. After the match, Mustafa Ali shows up and says that Mansoor still acts like a fanboy despite all he has taught him and says it is pathetic, then says that at Crown Jewel, he will wipe the smile off his face and those who show up. Mansoor tells Mustafa Ali to "shut the hell up" and asks him if he sees a smile on his face now, then says he will be grinning ear to ear when he beats Mustafa Ali senseless and proves him a cowardly and sorry excuse of a man.

Naomi, The Miz, Maryse and Drew McIntyre are announced as guests on Top Chef Family Style, only on Peacock.

Bobby Lashley and Goldberg are interviewed simultaneously in separate rooms. Goldberg says he will beat Lashley within an inch of his life and finish the job, and Lashley says that is not only nonsense, but criminal, and while he could call the law, that is not how he does business. Lashley says he is unstoppable in the ring and that he will beat him at Crown Jewel without a family member to help him, and when Lashley mentions his son Gage, Goldberg tells him to pick his words carefully because mentioning his family will make things worse for him. Lashley tells Goldberg that he cannot kill "The Almighty," and after what he does for him, he will be begging for forgiveness. He says that until now, Goldberg fought him with respect, but now there is nothing to stop him from ending his career.

Backstage, Matt Riddle tells Randy Orton he has come up with some new plans since last week, and that he knew that Orton would show up. Orton tells Riddle that there was never a plan, but Riddle is not convinced before mentioning The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford). Orton tells Riddle that the plan for tonight is to win tonight and then win at Crown Jewel.

We see a vignette for Keith "Bearcat" Lee.

RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Matt Riddle) vs. The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) ends in a no-conteest after "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles and Omos surround both sides of the ring and take out everyone. Omos then lays out Randy Orton with a roundhouse kick to the side of the head.

We see a vignette for Becky Lynch.

Before the next match, Zelina Vega shows up and wears the Queen's Crown cape and crown and watches the next match from the queen's throne.

Doudrop beats "The Queen of Spades" Shayna Baszler by pinning Baszler's shoulder to the mat as Baszler has her in the Kirifuda Clutch to advance to the finals of the Queen's Crown Tournament.

Backstage, Nikki A.S.H. and Rhea Ripley wish Bianca Belair luck in her match tonight and welcome her to Raw. Bianca says there is nothing getting in her way when it comes to giving Charlotte Flair a proper farewell tonight.

Finn Balor beats Mace. After the match, Xavier Woods points the scepter at Finn Balor after Finn Balor makes it to the stage, and Finn pulls it away from him. Kofi Kingston shows up before things can get physical.

Backstage, The Viking Raiders (Ivar and Erik) meet with John Morrison as he is trying to find his wandering chi in his ultimate quest to share his innermost thoughts with the rest of the world. The Viking Raiders are confused that the chi is not being used to raid.
