Raw Deal - Raw recap for October 25, 2021

Big E heads to the ring to start tonight's show. Big E welcomes everyone to tonight's show while putting the city of Houston, Texas over, starting a "Let's Go Astros!" chant. He also puts Xavier Woods over for winning the King of the Ring Tournament before tipping his hat to Drew McIntyre for pushing him to his limits at Crown Jewel. Big E then says there is no rest for the weary as there is a whole new roster of people coming from SmackDown, and as he asks who wants to challenge him for the WWE Championship, Seth Rollins shows up. Rollins heads to the ring and laughs that Big E knows why he is here, and when Big E tells Rollins that he lost to Edge, Rollins says he wants the WWE Championship as soon as possible. Big E tells Rollins to go to the back of the line, then Rollins says he has went through hell in the last week and that Roman Reigns is too afraid to give him his opportunity, which leads to him challenging Big E and asking him if he wants to be like Roman or be a fighting champion. Suddenly, Rey Mysterio shows up and says that Rollins' vision is impaired after getting his head bashed in by Edge, then says it has been a minute since they have seen eye-to-eye and that if anyone deserves a title shot, it is him. Rey says his resume speaks for itself as he runs down his championship accomplishments, and says he is willing to do what it takes to win the WWE Championship one more time. As Rollins tells Big E not to listen to Rey, Finn Balor shows up. Finn says he has nothing but love for Rey Mysterio, then runs down his championship accomplishments before stating he has never held the WWE Championship, which he proclaims that he wants. As Seth Rollins tells Big E not to listen to Rey or Finn, Kevin Owens shows up and mentions his championship accomplishments before mentioning that he beat Rollins for the Universal Championship in Houston. Rollins attacks Owens, starting a brawl. Rollins soon retreats and Owens goes after him, then WWE official Sonya Deville and sets up a Fatal Four-Way match between Rollins, Owens, Rey and Finn where the winner gets a title shot, then makes it a ladder match. Rollins is absolutely livid.

The team of Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode beat The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) and The Alpha Academy (Chad Gable and Otis) to earn a shot at the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships after Omos shows up and takes out The Street Profits.

Zelina Vega heads to the ring for her royal coronation. Zelina says she will stand for any more bad treatment and demands that ring announcer Mike Rome announce her entrance better, which he does as she puts on her crown. Zelina then says that she has been underappreciated too long for her greatness and that she was the only woman in WWE fit to be queen as the Raw Women's Division watches from backstage. She says that her ascension to the throne was destiny and that nobody else in the back came close, and now everyone can bow down to their official queen. She then asks what king of queen she will be. Zelina then says she will be both loved and feared, and says that if you are not the most powerful woman in the room you are nothing. Doudrop heads to the ring as Zelina calls her an example of what happens to those who stand in her way, especially when she defeats her again tonight. She says that her crown is proof that she is the best of the best and that people will talk about her reign for years to come as she becomes the best queen of all time, then Doudrop heads to the ring.

Zelina Vega - now known as Queen Zelina - beats Doudrop after untying a top turnbuckle cover, allowing her to hit Doudrop with the scepter as the referee fixes the turnbuckle cover.

Becky Lynch heads to the ring. Becky says it is great to have the title she never lost back around her waist and that she intends to pick up right where she left off after coming back two months ago and making headlines then and since. She talks about how she sent Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair packing at Crown Jewel, and says that as a man of the people, she knows nobody wants to see Bianca Belair anywhere near the title and that there are some new women who want to beat her for the Raw Women's title. She says that women like Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan will learn just like the women before that they will not always get what they want unless they are her, then Bianca Belair shows up. Bianca says that it always something with Becky, then says that she did not leave in shame as Becky didn't pin her at Crown Jewel even as she was cheating, and says if anyone should be ashamed, it should be Becky. She says that Becky only thinks she always gets what she wants because she has never encountered adversity, and says that this is about to change as she has beaten some of the best recently and that gets her a shot at the Raw Women's Championship. She then says Becky's reign is about to come to an end that she is the fresh new face of Raw, then Becky makes fun of Bianca's post-match facial expression from Crown Jewel, saying that is "the face of a loser." Becky says that she has not only faced adversity, but slapped the head off of it while Bianca had a straight shot to the title and beat the best only because she was not there to stop her in her track, and since then, it has been nothing but disappointment for Bianca. Bianca says the only thing she is disappointed with is the fact that she has not slapped the goofy smile off Becky's face to show everyone who she is really is, as people are still rooting for her and that bothers Becky. She says that Becky might have the title, but she still seeks all the validation, and behind the title, she has nothing, and if she is not enough with it, she is not enough without it. Bianca says she has shown who she is without the title, and that Becky will not be the strongest, fastest or smartest like she is, then tells her to run up or shut up and put the title on the line tonight. Becky teases giving her the match before saying "Get to the back of the line, bitch." Bianca punches Becky in the face and beats her up. Becky tries to hit her with a Kendo stick, but Bianca blocks it and strikes Becky with it. Becky eventually kicks Bianca in the gut, but when she grabs the Kendo stick, Bianca grabs her for the K.O.D. Becky rakes her eyes, then hits her with a side Russian leg sweep with the Kendo stick before retreating. Becky then tells Bianca that if she wants her match, she has got it, but not tonight.

Backstage, Kevin Owens meets with Finn Balor. Owens says they have known each other for a long time and there are as few people he respects as much as him, and says he must win tonight. Finn, knowing it is every man for himself, says that is just the way he likes it.

Damian Priest beats T-Bar by disqualificaton in a United States Championship Contender's Match after T-Bar throws an announce table chair at Priest. This only fires Priest up and causes Priest to give T-Bar a beating.

Backstage, we hear from Carmella, who says the only asset more valuable than her mask is her face, as she is the diamond of WWE: so precious, so rare and so expensive that she is a perfect fit for the red brand. She says that she cannot blame others for being jealous, and accuses Liv Morgan of following her to Raw to continue to attack her face. She says she has plans of her own, and that nobody will stop her influence as being the most beautiful woman on WWE.

Carmella beats Liv Morgan despite Liv Morgan sending Carmella's protected face into the announce table (and congratulating Corey Graves on his real-life engagement to Carmella).

Keith "Bearcat" Lee is up next!

Keith "Bearcat" Lee beats Cedric Alexander. After the match, Shelton Benjamin gets in the ring and smiles at Keith Lee before backing off and helping Cedric Alexander to the back.

In backstage footage from earlier tonight, Dominik Mysterio talks with Rey Mysterio about Rey's ladder match. Dominik tells Rey he's got this match, then Austin Theory shows up to look for a towel, then tries to get a selfie with Rey. When Theory tells Dominik to take the selfie, Dominik says he is not a photographer and that this is not Theory's locker room. Theory tells Dominik it will be when he beats him tonight and leaves. Rey is impressed and tells Dominik he has his back if he needs him, but Dominik says he can take care of it on his own.

Austin Theory beats Dominik Mysterio. After the match, Theory takes a selfie with an angry referee when he tries to take a selfie with a downed Dominik.

Backstage, Matt Riddle talks with Randy Orton. Orton says that while they can talk about Halloween until they are blue in the face, they need to retain the Raw Tag Team titles against Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode, who are wanting to prove themselves.

We see a vignette for Veer.

RK-Bro (Matt Riddle and Randy Orton) retain the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships against Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode with an inside cradle from Riddle to Ziggler.

Backstage, Kevin Patrick interviews Seth Rollins, who says he has a target on his back and is without question the biggest threat to Big E and that everyone in tonight's Fatal 4-Way Match as well as Big E knows it. He is suffering and in pain and should already be #1 contender, but that does not matter, for he will put it all behind him and win tonight.

Seth Rollins beats Rey Mysterio, Kevin Owens and Finn Balor in a Fatal 4-Way Ladder Match for a shot at the WWE Championship. After the match, Big E shows up to congratulate Seth rollins, and Seth Rollins says he will do anything to get the WWE Championship before brushing Big E off.
