Golden Opportunity, Part 1 - Championship Wrestling Presented By CarShield recap for August 21, 2022

Backstage, Jack Farmer and official UWN representative Johnny LeQuasto announces that UWN is committed to giving the fans the best and says that the committee makes the match. He then announces that Lord Crewe is the final participant in the Golden Opportunity Tournament. He then announces that Lord Crewe - who has been undefeated and dominant in competition as of late - is the final participant in the Golden Opportunity Tournament. Halston Boddy shows up with Lord Crewe and says "About time!", then they leave.

Willie Mack beats "Timeless" Levi Shapiro and Lord Crewe in a triple threat match to advance to the finals of the Golden Opportunity Tournament.

We hear from "Benevelont" Jack Banning, who says that since the formation of The Institution, they have stayed by each others' side. Tonight, however, he goes it alone, and he must lead by example and get it done on his own just like his other men should. He says that after tonight, everyone will remember who he is and The Institution will live on, and the opportunity will belong to them.

Danny Limelight beats "Benevolent" Jack Banning and Shane Haste in a triple threat match to advance to the finals of the Golden Opportunity Tournament. During the match, Banning guests on commentary until Danny Limelight forcefully gets him back into the match.

Backstage, Jeremy McPete interviews Beef Candy (Richie Slade and Flex McCalleon). McCalleon says Midnight Heat ("Rockin' Ricky Gibson and "Precious" Eddie Pearl) has already bitten off more than they can chew as he questions how many times they went a piece of them, and Richie Slade says that if they want the main course, they had better not choke on the appetizers.

Backstage, Jeremy McPete interviews Chris Bey. He says Taylor Rust cannot catch up with him and that he will finesse him and Bateman, win the next triple threat match and become United World Champion.

Bateman beats Taylor Rust and Chris Bey in a triple threat match to advance to the finals of the Golden Opportunity Tournament.
